Tomorrow (Friday) will be interesting. Someone was claiming to have 300 BTC lined up to pump Blackcoin. The devs spoke against it at the DailyBlackcoin.com, asking not to create a spike. So it may be interesting to see what happens (or not).
300BTC to pump the people into pumping Blackcoin, not Blackcoin the coin. A lot of pumping in the social side ~ small tip (and no, i'm not saying there won't be a rise) 300Btc= 150,000 USD roughly, market volume has been averaged around 1,000,000. Have you considered a museum section for old abandoned coins? I have several million Birdcoin I could donate to get the museum started!
That is quite an interesting idea and would be a nice addition to the Obituary Coin section on Coins Source. Like a graveyard of broken down alt-coins, with the actual coins in a wallet on display. Perhaps we could invent a whole new category of collectors or alt-coin numismatists! While conceptually it is interesting, it wouldn't work simply because a lot of the obituary coins no longer have a functioning blockchain and there would be no way to transfer the coins to a 'museum' wallet. I'll let T.K. know, maybe we can modify our obituary Coins a bit to give them a graveyard type feel. We've projected SourceCoin to be valued around $1USD, that is the starting flat-rate Coins Source will use. So 30 SRC for a premium source membership. 1USD valuation will put SourceCoin right around 1,000,000 market cap, give or take. Most of us know that the volatility of 100k or 10 million is not uncommon in the crypto space. Watching maidsafe's ipo for two days. I'm really disappointed. There is no doubt that decentralized internet is an awesome idea. But what dev have done made it disappointing. Manipulating market and changing rules at will, all of these things remind me of mtgox and labcoin scam. Anyway, I'm back for your altcoin database!  Definitely, Coins Source is one of the very few to cover the controversy and skepticism behind MaidSafe. On the other hand, the article covers what Maidsafe is, informing users such a protocal or platform has been created. |
