1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 08, 2014, 03:28:58 AM
I see Ixcoin has been listed on C-Cex:  https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=ixc-btc

Yes,  that's 3 exchanges.  Vircurex, Cryptsy and C-CEX.  CEX.IO I heard rumors that they will have something soon.

The problem though with IXC is the liqudity?  Where are the buyers and sellers?!  Say I wanted to buy 1% of IXC,  200,000 IXC... I can't find anyone selling that much anywhere.  Same with selling,  say I want to sell 200,000 IXC... I can't find that many buyers.

What's going on?  It is as if out of the 20 million IXC out there,  only less than 300,000 IXC is traded in exchanges.

Scarcity.

When the big flood of investors start seeing IX, the prices are going to skyrocket because there is such a low amount of supply.

Expect big big things from IX in the coming months

That's a good point but if this coin is such a dud, why isn't anyone selling it?  I don't think you see this same issue with similar coins like i0Coin and others.  Cause 18 million coins is way too much to be hoarded unless the ones hoarding have some kind of plan.

Smart Money

iX is very much alive behind the scenes. The major share holders are watching and waiting for the day. Because slowly as more people want to invest into a few hundred IX a few more will get taken off the markets. Pretty soon you are left with scraps, at the point were ix can't support the amount of smart money and just takes off from there.
1624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] The Cycle of Alt-Coins on: February 08, 2014, 03:20:34 AM
You didn't get a lot of attention the first time because your post lacks originality and doesn't really contribute anything to the forum. A lot of people have expressed anti-altcoin sentiment and we are all aware that too many coming out so fast is probably bad. But short of trash-talking you failed to really introduce any useful solutions. Everyone's a cynic...

Or it could be giveaways flooded the alt-sections? Do some background checking before you draw an opinionated conclusion. This was on one of my articles that did get viewed heavily, but i felt should be exposed more to all newbies.

You try to help and people these days and they just piss on your back.

This site may be helpful the next time you write unsubstantiated accusations so you don't embarass yourself: http://coingen.io/status.html

And where did all those shitcoins get generated from.. The master whore it self coingen.io

Just saying that the majority of coins released here are not from coingen or an other coingenerator site.

And your point? People on here are not exclusively bound to BCT.

1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [GUIDE] The Cycle of Alt-Coins on: February 08, 2014, 02:39:04 AM
I thought it was time to reveal the great cycle of shitcoins, i wrote this a few weeks ago but got little exposure.

The Great Cycle of a Shitcoin:

(1) Coingen.io (Or his brothers)---->

(2) Pay and Generate ------>

(3) Copy and paste another shit coins article ----->

(4) Post Shitcoin gets accepted ----- >

OR                                         ----- > Dies from being too shity even for shitcoin hoarders, Back to step 1

(5) Reward bounties for supporting shitcoin ----- >

(6) Shitcoin Giveaways ----- >

(7) Try to get on a trade site ------>

OR                                           ----- >  Never gets accepted, because it's the lowest form of shit, back to step 1.

(8 ) Gets accepts and slowly dies because no more money is to be made off of shitcoin.

OR                                           ----- >       All support is lost for shitcoin, back to step 1

(9) In very very rare cases such as Doge    ----- > Gains massive appeal and fame for being a new breed of shitcoins, Dies in 6 months. back to step 1

I'd advise not to trust even cryptsy with your wallets. Although they are a registered in the U.S. that does not mean they can hire a hacker and hack their site.

You just never know these days. Cryptsy is really turning into a shit site

1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] These 502 and 504 errors on Cryptsy are deliberate and part of a scam. on: February 06, 2014, 11:44:34 PM
I agree with the OP.

A week ago, there was a post from a cryptsy dev that they made 250,000 USD in 1 week or a few days.

Cryptsy is a high volume trade site, they can manuipulate their servers to their liking. We all know they are crooked with back-door deals when it comes to adding brand new coins.

They can easily drop a large sum and upgrade and re-haul their pathetic severs. It still seems like they are using the same machines that they started off with. No new improvements or features have been added to cryptsy, like they promised.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SFC] SoftCoin as from July 1st 2014 on: February 06, 2014, 11:27:29 PM
A long released date a head, this looks promising!

Can't wait to see what new features you are creating.
1637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: February 06, 2014, 09:35:34 PM

Wow, iXcoin on a tear with almost 100 votes.  Where is all this attention for IXC coming from?

Smart money investors. They are behind the scenes, keeping quiet.
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SCAM CHECK] IPO Fraud -- NEM -- New Econmy Movement -- on: February 06, 2014, 07:27:38 PM
I invested at .01 BTC. There is no way in hell I'd invest at 0.06 BTC or whatever crazy prices people are currently buying in at.

I consider my investment as good as gone but who knows maybe they'll surprise everyone.

I agree, i bought in with 5 account = 50NXT. But the buy-in is near that of a major scam now, with little or no new evidence since launch. My entire thread highlights these points.

Since we have 1 account/ 1 stake rule it is very kind of you to let us know you have 5 accounts because we going to return you 40 nxt and delete 4 other accounts.

Those accounts are not going to revealed. Half of your IPO fundings is from puppet-accounts. You should be thanking people like me.

Why don't you address some of these questions?

We will be doing taint analyses after the fundraising Smiley if you can mask your account transactions to avoid taint analyses then you can keep them but it will not be easy with NXT accounts though.

Your policy's when NEM was just starting was you didn't care about multiple buy-ins. That's what fueled NEM to be a success. Don't make me dig up your quotes where you said you didn't care about multiple-buy-ins.

This can get really ugly, really fast.

I just want answers, you are taking the time now to care about this issue how about releasing some proof?
