A quick exploit in Coin2's distribution that we've ultimately learned. The dev required to have you post on facebook to acquire C2, well it was revealed shortly after that you could change your Facebook name, and make it seem like another user.
Thus acquiring 3-4 shares in C2, multiple that with a few facebook accounts if someone chose to do so.

That is my point - bitcoin is not an altcoin yet you have it as number 1 in a list of the top 10 "altcoins." Please read the categories, our ranking guideline, methodology and such. Each coin is ranked in several different fields. Potcoin is having an initial burst of support due to market share, that does not encompass a wide range of fields. Ripples XRP is a new breed of a crypto system, It improves on all alternative currencies, now the backing and distribution method is not perceived to be the best. We are not trying to be scientific, because in the social world nothing is. All you can do is make the best perdictions of anything. That goes for markets aswell. There are steps and measures you can take to reduce risk, slippage and human error but there is nothing that can totally reduce it. Whats the point in just picking and choosing random variables to judge them on? For instance 3 of your listing have security holes you could drive a truck through.
We are giving people a perspective. We understand the comparison between alt-coins to Bitcoin, in the measures of network hashes and security that ultimately protect the network. 95% of all alternative coins are unsecured, have no real purpose other then profit machines. Even some in the top 10. I know this and most of my team does. But we tried to keep it as simple as possible, in a way your mum could read and understand the information presented. On another note, no alternative coin will ever come close to Bitcoin's score. You have to keep that in perspective. The jump from 3-4 amazed us when we started digging in deep. All coins have their scores adjusted on a weekly basis, but there is so much work inputted we are in need of some assistance. Anyways, that's why we are doing an IPO to hire and ultimately create a better site for everyone's liking. |

First, our articles and grading system is based on fact. We noted all possible flaws in the distribution methods of the coins. We are not here to be the scam checkers or enforcements to the world. We are merely stating this coin has support, it is technically advanced and etc. Coins Source is not suppose to be your end all 1-way ticket into profit, not at all! We are merely giving background information and stating the facts. We respect your input and everyone's opinion. We are merely trying to inform the masses, Bitcointalk is just a start, this is where the most die-hard entrenched users are in the alternative coin world.
