1001  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock! 300 satoshi guaranteed, unlim multiply. We have payed more than $550! on: May 31, 2014, 08:00:13 AM
It would be a lot better if a single payment is performed for the full balance, instead of having two separate payments for earnings and referral earnings; sometimes one or both of them don't reach the cashout limit, while they instead reach it when summed together. In this situation, you have to wait one more week for getting paid.

I understand and agree with you. I think that this Monday (2 June) we'll pay an old way, but next Monday it will be united balances and one payment.

no no no, I like it way it is. Because it prevents me to lost everything in goldfield.
also better for tracking refs activity.

What about add a feature for one way transfer (ref. earnings --> my balance)?
1002  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: How to convert .Conf file into .Bat on: May 28, 2014, 07:00:54 PM
I know but the text from a .conf file looks a lot different than a .bat file, is there any way to convert one without having to edit the text manually?

try it another way

create bat file (in folder with cgminer.exe) and put in: cgminer -c path_to_conf_file

e.g.
Quote
cgminer -c c:\cgminer-3.7.2-windows\MyCongf.conf

1005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Multibit Wallet do this? on: May 24, 2014, 07:33:05 AM
Hi
not sure if understand but I'll try to help.

My first question is:  Is it possible, to remove 1 or even 2 of the Wallet folders that you see on the left side without deleting them?  (meaning, can I create a brand new Multibit Wallet, and transfer the folders for Wallet #2 and #3 below to the brand new Multibit Wallet?)

Yes, you can close wallets (go File/CloseWallet) - it will disappear from Multibit but stays on your harddrive) or

I understand you just want to make new wallet which will contain some transactions from those three wallets. Right?
that is possible by import/export affected address to new }or existing walet.

BUT READ ABOUT PRIVATE KEYS BEFORE YOU START MESSING IT UP, AND KEEP BACKUP COPY

My 2nd question is:  Is it possible to delete some of the "rows" that you see inside my wallet below, or is that functionality not possible inside Multibit?  ( Meaning, is it possible to delete 1 or more of the "payment received" rows that you see below?

Afraid it's not that simple. You should create new wallet and import all addresses you want there, then you can close previous wallet.

P.S. I can reccommend you to use Armory. I found it much clearer, because you can add own comments to each address and every single transaction.
Helps me to keep tracking my income.

1006  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy btc with credit card can be trusted on: May 24, 2014, 06:58:04 AM
Hi

you can use https://e-obmen.net or http://unichange.me to fund some of your other payment processor.

in past I've tried both of them succesfull

1. e-obmen.ne -> Egopay -> BTC-E -> BTC

2. unichange.me ->  BTC-E -> BTC

- 9bitz ( min 229 satoshi / hour )
- bitcoinzebra ( min 100 sat / hour )

Gold field is that multiplier game and you can play it as many time you  want to.
He had found 0 gold from 32 games.

ok, my fault.  He hacked the game  Roll Eyes .. then he's pretty cunning but still overdid it a little

1012  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First steps to take with bitcoin on: May 14, 2014, 07:01:39 PM
Hi all, Im new here.  I found out about bitcoin a year or so ago and recently have been bored (as well as frustrated looking for a better job) and started really looking into bitcoin.  Im sure this has been posted 1,000 times at least but could you all explain to me the first few steps and choices for bitcoin?

The first step, from what I understand, is getting an address.  Is that correct?  How would I go about getting one and whats some choices out there?  Also, is the next step getting a wallet?  What are some choices of those as well?  Side question too-is an account an address or a wallet?

Thanks for the help.

Mark

Hi

To be precise, you need a wallet with an address.
A wallet is set of addresses.
It's recommended to generate new address for each transaction so in few months can have hundreds of them).

so wallet is the very start.

I can advise you to try multibit, because its simple and fast(no blockchain download), or some online wallet, like coinbase blockchain etc.  otherwise you'll be waiting two days to dl blockchain and wallet became active.
If time is no matter , check Armory, I like the design or just oficial client bitcoin-qt.

 - always encrypt your wallet
 - don't worry about wallet choice, you most wallets supports export import

try to double check if you enter correct BTC address, check to have no 'spaces' at the end of address, this happened to me few times and was, considered as invalid as well.

And what about "Cloud mining" ?

If I get it right... You buy into companies, who have "hardcore" hardware and they mine for you, and pay out dividends?

Or am I totally wrong?

Cloudmining needs investment whitch is barely refundable.
Definitely your profit won't be high. Also there is a chance that company go bankrupt.
I have no experience, just thinking.

About faucets and other free stuff I have exp. with.
Alone, you earn just rubbish. But try to make as much referals to best faucets (buy an ad space, put some banners on ...). Could be nice small passive income.
Generally all free stuff requires massive amount of refs. to make serious money. Either luck or proper advertise.

How about autosurfs? Install* advertise bar in your PC and you are payed for watching ads.
This is very small profit especially from those without captchas ( 1-3 EUR/month), but there are lot of them for frech speaking users.
Are you guys French?

maybe check forum: moneymakergroup.com/forums

* better not to install if you have private data on it.

1017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im a beginner. on: May 02, 2014, 07:06:20 PM
If you are new to Bitcoin, don't mine.
If you are new to trading, don't trade bitcoins.

Then how he suppose to learn something? With your attitude the bitcoin comunity would be Satoshi N. along with few of his friends.
Definitely it's good to read a book about, or attend training but nothing equals to real experience.

Rather to say, don't invest much.
1018  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im a beginner. on: May 02, 2014, 04:55:31 PM
Welcome aboard,

kleineaap is correct, nevertheless I recommend you (for start) to use one of autoswitching pools.
Like wafflepool, coinshift, coinsolver or middlecoin. You don't need to have any altcoin wallet.
You will recieve BTC directly in your wallet. It's very simple, but you have to pay small fee.

Later on, when you see how it works, you can start doing some experiments.

About HW
1 - you can mine using GPU (ATI is best) but it' expesive due to high cosumption.
Check hash power for GPU here:
https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

2- BETTER solution is to get some ASIC miner, there are lot of them just look around mining section.
Just calculate consumption/hash power ratio and check some feedback from users.

About SW, it depends on used HW  Wink
For GPU use bfgminer or cgmines (find some older version, because newer does not support GPU mining, i thik I used Cgminer 3.7.2)

ExchangeI trade on localbitcoins, btc-e, also used bitstamp, but not any more.

good luck in mining and trading
