....

I am a newbie.... what is btc mining contract?

I suppose you know what mining is.
If not, check tube on: http://www.bitcoinmining.com/

Mining contract means that you rent mining (hash) power from third party and you recieve mined btc to your address.

my question is do 0.20247 btc enough for that?

you'll get about 38 Ghs for 5 years from Pbmining
check their stats https://pbmining.com/stats.html to see income

1026  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock - start from 345 satoshi and multiply as more as you can! on: April 22, 2014, 03:35:56 PM
In my account, the amount in "Balance" is lower than "Earned by Referrals". Do you count them separately and payout them together, or has there been an error? (e34678d24b)

your earnings does not contain referal earnings, it's separated.
1027  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock - start from 345 satoshi and multiply as more as you can! on: April 21, 2014, 07:52:55 PM
Wow! Looks nice and i love their idea! I must implement it )

Good, they are a lot easier to read.

Talking about captchas, my favorite is from areyouahuman.com
bets advantage is you don't need to write anything, can be solved using mouse.
1028  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock - start from 345 satoshi and multiply as more as you can! on: April 21, 2014, 08:56:11 AM

got them as well.
I hit the jacpot twice so far. And I'm looking forward to the next level. (few games remain)  Wink
1029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: any good bitcoin trader accepting PayPal? on: April 15, 2014, 07:38:23 PM
Fraud is easy? Really? Why?

due to paypal payment can be canceled.

(Edit) DO NOT TRY specoin.com

but you should first find some good reference before buying anything.
I have no experience with them,

1032  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: April 12, 2014, 03:09:56 PM
i saw their thread here in bitcointalk, no update at all
even no future project, no plan to add faucet/PTC/another source to get BTC

Yeah my guess is they're trying to collect e-mail addresses to sell of to spammers. Haha. Like they could ever compete with facebook or google in that department.

I do not agree, email is optional
where? in qoinpro email must be included

qoinpro yes, but this thread is about freebitco.in thats what i meant

In general faucets aren't worth it, you're better off selling lemonade down the street
Very true

Hi both,

I used faucets a lot, to collect my first rubbish (aslo made some profit to my upline), and now I am the one who is bit up.
Earned commision covers my tx fee, and I can afford paying higher fee without worries.
Higher fees = higher reward for miners ...etc.
In principle faucets are good for whole btc community.

so please, don't criticize faucets in general  Wink

P.S. I'm still using this one
1035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giweaway CEX.IO voucher on: April 09, 2014, 06:27:13 PM
0.01nmc? Is that it? I thought it was a mining contract thing.
Anyway, congrats wusolini!

thanks
0.01NMC is just rubbish, some Ghz would be much better  Wink

but even so, it was free so I'm cool
1036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giweaway CEX.IO voucher on: April 09, 2014, 06:11:05 PM

Check it three times, doesn't work, says "invalid voucher code"

It worked for me Grin  I got 0.01 NMC.

good work krysta11.
1037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet.dat data on: April 08, 2014, 04:17:55 PM
Nope, the wallet.dat contains the private/public key pairs that belong to your bitcoin addresses. The balance on those addresses is extracted from the blockchain, by incremently adding and substracting all transactions to and from said addresses.

Simply put the private key is THE single proof that an address belongs to you. Without providing it no funds can be sent from the address.

When I update the bitcoin-QT, it takes long to be updated because all the current blockchain info gets downloaded. Is not it ? Then where that data is stored ? Not it wallet.dat ?

check size of your bitcoin folder. it's all in it.
blockchain should be in folder "blocks" (buch of files blk*.dat)
