Dear participants!

We see how you are excited by the ZobrZobr's contest. So, we are discussing an opportunity of a voting at the end of the contest. Tell us your thoughts, please.

Follow us on Twitter, add tweets with your prints and add hashtag #zobrzobr!

Sounds good, but I prefer you to choose the winner, because of possible multi-accounts, buying votes etc ...  3 BTC reward simply encourages to do so.
Perhaps voting in private of your team, or public campaign but out of this thread/forum, so it can't be affected by participants ...?

just my opinion

848  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to know about Provably fair... on: July 28, 2014, 04:37:28 PM
I see some gambling sites mention that they are provably fair. They provide some seed and ask to check some hash or whatever. My question is, can this fairness really be checked from outside ? Where are they twisting to make sure the house's win ?

Yes, it can.
.....

P.S. This's only principle, and can be used in various way. You should check description on particular site.

Thanks wusolini, you explained very well, I also always thought how probably fair work.

You're welcome.

Yes, it can.

.....

That is an awesome explanation. I wonder how the house make sure that they win in the long term ? Do they really gamble with the user choice ?

I'm glad you understand, I've tried to make it in simple.

there is always a some formula, that guarantees long time profit to operator. And if not, it can be just adapted  Wink. So don't worry, casinos will never bankrupt (as long as they have active players)

So, do u mean, the program inside is rigged for the long run that make sure the house will always win ?

Not rigged, but calculated. It's all about math and likelihood
something like: unlikely you win , even more unlikely you win a jackpot and likely you loose, but most likely the game wins.

But it's a different story, the game is still provably (you can check it) fair (result is random or known ahead or ... )
well calculated game don't need to cheat, just need to sustain as long and get as much players as possible

So don't worry, casinos will never bankrupt (as long as they have active players)

The house edge would bring profits to the house in the long term, but the house could lose in the short term.
And so casinos need to set the max win correctly (for example, using Kelly formula). Smiley

Thanks for pointing out Kelly formula  ... it's all about math

849  Economy / Services / Re: Design a signature advertising ad for Rollin.io | Compete earn 0.25 BTC Bounty on: July 28, 2014, 05:15:37 AM
Inb4 OP chose own, other account as the winner of the competition to give a false sense of trustworthiness before the campaign starts.
Maybe, since op made 1000000 to change his original design for a awful one eye burner, this seems weird.
Well it was my suspicion all along even though I entered the contest. A member without any reputation makes a contest with a seemingly huge bounty for such a simple tasks, and ends up picking 1 awful design and 1 that's directly stolen from primedice ( Link to primedice was even in the signature as he posted it ), without supporting his choices, at all.

lol, it is true, link to primedice is still there (post  #45). It's funny because of his: Do we have to paste this publicly? Because I'm scared of other users copying it.     Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I hope 1000000 will win, he deserve it.
850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much Bitcoin would you like to have at the end of 2015? on: July 27, 2014, 07:39:12 PM
How much would you like to have in your wallet by the end of 2015? Lets be realistic and not just saying 1 million Bitcoin. I know the majority of this forum hasn't got 10+ Bitcoin.

Simple answer is: I would like to have as much as possible Cheesy  and I am realistic.

But definitely I can't and I won't tell you precise number, because why? Just to point hackers to focus on me?
I don't think you will get direct answer from other members. If so, it'll be a lie or an idiot.

Bitcoin is a Top secret Chinesse economic project.
852  Economy / Services / Re: Design a signature advertising ad for Rollin.io | Compete earn 0.25 BTC Bounty on: July 27, 2014, 06:18:52 PM
Are members genuinely interested in the design or the campaign?  Undecided

I think both. But since there is final round of design contest it's natural that people are interested in campaign now.

I am not judging, but spartan82 have postive trust and you are in the reds. You should give more details on your side of the story.

Trust is mostly meaningless. I don't know about Rulishix's true intentions (he did scam before but repaid everything), but spartan82 scammed Rulishix.

Thanks, Free hugs. Not really happy to have you understand despite your history but I do appreciate it.  I did repay all my debts here woth extra for their wait. Numbers mean nothing as Free Hugs said. Anybody can scam at any time. Thanks!

haha, FreeHugs has to say that .... because of his -342 trust  Cheesy

btt, I don't think anybody will dox him without proof what he did wrong. Post here some info. thread, communication or describe what happened.

If you don't want to publish it for whatever reasons, try to offer some reward. But this is very low.

I see FreeHugs hastrust of: -542: -15 / +20(20) Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

What information we have to tell you in order to get paid?
Enough to make you able to meet him or what?

Oh snap, sorry for typo, FreeHugs has "-542 trust".

IMO +/- 200 doesn't matter in such number ( anything less than -2 shall be taken into account. And by those two I mean just small mistake in first deal and of course depends on the amount of damages )

855  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] LuckyCheckIN.com - time based faucet ! up to 1.200.000 Satoshi / 5 min.! on: July 27, 2014, 05:34:26 PM
Could you add public notes for payments?
It is very hard to keep track which transactions comes from here without public notes like freebitcoin has.

Use different address for each site you earn from. It's much more convenient.

I just put site name in addy description .. easy peasy  Wink

@btcrock, I don't mind monthly payouts , but lot of users do. As posted above, how about to put more adds? So you don't need to wait ad income.

last payout received ... thanks again

I've been lurking for a long time and figured I would finally post Wink

I have got to say that Bitcoin is totally awesome! I just purchased some bits and hosting all from my Nexus 5! The even more awesomer thing? I didn't have to enter any personal information! (Well, not entirely true: I did at Coinbase so I can buy bits instantly Smiley)

Anyway, thanks for creating this wonderful community.

Hi

Cheesy I see you have discovered "bitcoin anonymity" a great feature. But be aware, as you wrote, anonymity level depends also on your behaviour.

Keep that in mind, be vigilant.

Welcome and good luck discovering other great features.

Congratulations to both finalists. Both signatures looks great, hard choice for rollin.

btw, I'm looking forward to details about your sig. campaign  Smiley

Hi I would have something but it's not art, just simple idea  Cheesy

Thank you for your pic, Wusolini Wink That is a good idea! You can try something else, we believe you have lots of ideas =)

Remember, that your picture will be printed with a QR code of a chosen bitcoin wallet! So, it is not just a funny print on the T-shirt, it must have sense and will help you to popularize a required BTC wallet Wink

So, 9 days left and you are a winner at the moment!

Lol, I didn't expect Wink, I have bunch of ideas, but lack of graphic design experience.

Anyway I've tried few color examples.

Yes, it can.

I can explain it on simple example, (just the principle)

BTCRock - it's game where you have a grid 20x20 and you have 6 attempts to find gold vein.

Their proof is that immediately after solving captcha you can see hash of "gold vein coordinates ".

After you made your 6 tries, a result is shown to you:

Proof is that from begining the coordinates  gold vein was [11,9], and was not moved if you luckily hit it ( it would change the hash)

You can check it using: http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator

1 - enter: 65879c50984f5b9ede009960e6efa3c6|[11,9]    (proof of location, shown after game end)
2 - hash it (using sha2586)
3 - you'll get: c0344a8d187371c671d9e16cb27190a74caef8fe32ab66be7287ed050fca2b12       (this is what you know from begining)

tip: for clarity try to change one coordinate and hash it again, will see you got completely different hash.

P.S. This's only principle, and can be used in various way. You should check description on particular site.
