1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - Launch: JANUARY 7, 2014. 7 PM PST on: January 08, 2014, 11:56:02 AM
This coin will go to zero once it's on exchanges. No one is learning from the DOGE - MOON ....etc.. mistakes.
Too many coins - too fast. Dump dump dump.... this coin is dead by day 5 on coinedup.

Watch.

Please start making coins with less dump.
Cool idea for a coin. Awful numbers. Time wasted.

640 million coins per day...
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. on: January 08, 2014, 09:13:39 AM

Something I am sure everyone has thought many times when this happens:
https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/111

A large spike basically WRECKS the graph. Making the 1 month and the "All" view useless.
Would be great to make a way to take out the outliers. Something.

It makes me feel very much not confident to trade it when I cannot see the graph correctly and it's a
just a flat line.

When this happens on a day graph it can make you now want to trade that coin at all.

Would be great if you guys can fix it. Since you are working on the graphs right now.

1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. on: January 08, 2014, 03:38:27 AM

Price crash causing withdrawals to be held. Have been waiting all day to move some coins out to sell.
Sitting by as I watch my money die.

Be warned. During crashes they are holding funds.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: January 07, 2014, 05:58:22 AM
Add MoonCoin on coinmarketcap Wink
a dozen people already requested it. Not happening. Appears that OP has grudge against mooncoin, or at least wasn't invested in it.

Chill the F out. The guy makes almost nothing off the site. There are two little ads on it that probably make $100 a month.
Mooncoin was added. It can take up to a week to get listed as there is a LINE of coins waiting. Added in order of request
and based on if they are in proper conditions with ABE and exchange.

It's not just cut and paste work. Each coin takes a couple hours to add and this isn't the only thing in the world Gliss does.
There are like 5 new coins a day now so everyone needs to back the F up and chill.

It's better to only add a few coins a week. Coins that have a point in us caring about them. Mooncoin is like a pile of garbage.
No one is trading it. So now it's listed and no one cares.

I'd rather see GOOD coins only be listed. Specifically coins that are worth buying or at least don't die out the gate.
I would be happy with only a coin or two going up every week. Makes thing FAR easier for all the rest of us. This
way we can actually see what is going on with each coin. If he added ALL of them ALL the time it would be CHAOS.

So be nice.

No manipulating. People dumping. I dumped mine before it crashed to floor. It's at 210 now.

Maybe it will go back up in a few days.
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin | Secure \ Established \ Strong Community | Version 1.1 on: January 06, 2014, 02:42:50 AM

DGC moving again tonight.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin | Secure \ Established \ Strong Community | Version 1.1 on: January 05, 2014, 08:29:48 PM
Great coin to trade right now. It's one of the top 3 alt coins that's holding value and rising.
And the last week has been pretty decent. Feels like another breakout is coming in the days ahead.

Last 24 hours is upward trending. Last month is upward also.

It just keeps going. Picking up some volume also over last 24 hours by 3-4 fold over yesterday.
Volume has passed NETcoin and Infinitecoin.

And looking at sell wall resistance - there is none at these levels. So nothing stopping upward push up to 50000+.

Coinmarketcap.com =
20    Digitalcoin    $ 4,102,516    $ 0.34    12,037,717 DGC    $ 58,042    +26.58 %

It's nice to know your DGC is going up while your BTC it translates to is going up.

Looks like Digitalcoin is having a resurgence. Last few days has been interesting. Now China seems to be trading it more.
It's one of only a few Alt coins that didn't go down this weekend. Actually has been solidly going up constantly. Up 10x since Nov.
Two huge nice peaks also and a smooth landing. Maybe next peak coming in a day or two??

Just got re-listed on coinmarketcap and volume is going up. Steady climb on price also.
Probably one of THE best Alt coins to keep money in for longer term. Especially buying now that it's not at a peak.

Keep up the good work guys.

 Agreed.

It may seem low right now but if you look around this is the only coin that's not crashing to death.
It's the rarity and the under 1% per day mining dump with new minted coins.

Even with a fork it held at 4500-5500 ... I'm impressed.

Other coins have died in the last few days. Like 85% drop like kitteh. Fedora... Moon... even DOGE is WAY down.

Something to watch.
1231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dying???? on: January 05, 2014, 06:22:49 AM

When BTC goes up. Alts go down.

Makes sense. It's math!
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MEOW] Kittehcoin launched ! Come get some MEOW now. U haz it! DOGE sad. on: January 05, 2014, 04:46:08 AM
Look at the price of MEOW... totally collapsed since hitting CoinedUp !

Doge falling, MEOW almost dead and Cat doing not so bad....

It's because CAT has a low coin gen rate. Lesson learned?? I've been talking about this for weeks with DOGE.
I warned everyone DOGE was going to go down 80% from when it was 60.

I sold my kitteh at 13.
LOT had same issue. I sold that at 50.

Gen rate MUST be under 1% per day. Otherwise miner's will dump the coin dead.

WAKKKE UPPPP

1,720,467,488 total coins. How many per day are being created?
If it's less than adding 1% a day then Kitteh has other issues.

If it's like 3-4% a day more coins then that is the problem.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AsicCoin (ASC) | SHA256 - The coin for ASIC Mining! | No Premine on: January 05, 2014, 04:01:50 AM
I've been seeing large buying the last few days. The amount there were bought are in the 15,000 LTC range or more.
Yesterday and today the price has been pushed down so the "buyers" can grab more from panic sells.

Whoever is buying up all this stuff is pushing the price up and down with 100% control.
Fun to watch.

I will be sitting here waiting. It looks like a long term accumulation.
The one thing I noticed about ASIC coin is that it has very little resistance to 5x increase
than the other LTC pairs that are doing decent volume. And ASIC is still #1 of those.

And only about 1.5 million per day are new coins. So let say 75% of those are dumped daily
then that is only 150 LTC per day on a coin that is doing 3000-8000 LTC volume. Drop in the bucket.

Watching.. waiting... guess it will be awhile till they buy it all. I wonder what it's like to buy over 50%
of a whole coin. $350k could do it here. I'm sure this isn't the first time it's happened .. heh.

Actually that $350k and the 15,000 LTC of buying match up.. hmm.

You never know. I watched $70 in Sexcoin increase in value to $2250 in 48 hours, at which point I did not sell, only to see it fall by 90% within the following 48 hours, never to recover. Learning from this possibility, I had a 100% gain in netcoin, sold, and then watched it go up another 100% (it has fallen since). I sold ASC at the top of the most recent bubble.

Yesterday, I while filling my petrol tank, I imagined paying in Asiccoin, and I genuinely laughed out loud at the absurdity of the thought.

edit: to be fair though, I spent an afternoon in 2010 reading about bitcoin, only to dismiss it. (I didn't quite get it, I thought it would be an online cash for silly things like Second Life real-estate or Farmville trinkets. )

Looks like it really wants to go back to 7000. Everyone seems to have stopped buying today and it's crashing down for now.
Doesn't need any help to crash now. It's going.

I'll check back in a day or two when it's at it's low. Not sure what the deal is anymore. I woudl dump what you can and maybe buy back at 7000.
I think BTC rising is pushing down a lot of Alts.

Also a lot of the LTC pairs are down since LTC is not moving up with BTC.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AsicCoin (ASC) | SHA256 - The coin for ASIC Mining! | No Premine on: January 04, 2014, 10:38:31 PM

This is true. DOGE was lower than EAC before cryptsy. CAT was lower as well. I can't recall a coin that did
this well for market cap without being on Cryptsy.

It could blow to 10 million cap once listed. And this may be one of the few coins that doesn't crash too badly
after listing. I would say that it's low will be higher than where it is now on coinedup.

So spike to 2000 - maybe down to 600-700 same day. Then up... up. Nice and calmly. Or maybe bounce
around between those for 2-3 days then settle at 1000-1200 then up over time. Or after 1200 settling then it goes up
quickly then crash when it gets to 5000. We will see!

That's a really rough guess from everything I am seeing.

Where are all the dev's?HuhHuhHuh??

No different than Satoshi. Off on a private island somewhere heh...

The person posting that is not from the dev team.
That person created a new account just a few days ago. They were selling some EAC a few days ago.
Read their posts.

"Still selling over 900k EAC if anyone is interested. Pm me or reply in thread with offer I will send first in small amounts or we can escrow"

he wrote this 2 days ago. This guy is not a dev. He just making an account to post a fake image.

I want EAC on Cryptsy too - but that is lame to post fake crap. Very few people have Vern on skype.
And even fewer he would talk to.

Anyways.. yay pump it ! heh...

Wating for Jesuscoin.

Surprised it's still not out.

I just check your profile "Alt guy" and it was made a couple days ago and you are only pushing EAC.
I am wondering if this screenshot is real.

I don't think Vern has been telling anyone lately if a coin is "planned" to be released.
I think that's fake man...

And I hold EAC and look forward to Cryptsy but... hmmm...

1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colbertcoin - Pending, check back soon! on: January 04, 2014, 09:42:52 AM

I think naming coins after people is going to top Animal name and meme coins.

I think this coin maybe along with Ron Paul are the two best celebrity name coin ideas so far.

Watching....

When you launch please don't F it up. Windows wallet. Fair launch. Advance notice... etc.
Don't give too many coins too fast. 1% per day or less of coin generation of total existing coins is a good rule of thumb.
You don't want to end up like DOGE. Every day with them is still almost 4% more coins per day. Look what
that did.

And yes - getting the person's blessing is a good idea.
