AUR is not for the weak. Turn away if you can't look.

I'm staring straight into it's eyes.

806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The True Value of Auroracoin on: March 03, 2014, 04:49:42 AM

But you know what is official - Maza.

Mhmmm.

Think about it. Indian Casinos? American Indian Crypto? It's fantastic.
And apporved by the tribe. One of the largest in the US.

807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The True Value of Auroracoin on: March 03, 2014, 04:36:07 AM
That's weird you read my mind at the same exact time I post this using same words Tongue
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=446062.msg5475545#msg5475545

But ya - it's wild.

I was saying someone needs to setup a script that immediately notifies everyone if the pre-mine moves.
Or actually the dev should set that up and post it.

It would take some time to move and coins and I bet someone out there already probably is watching
with a script of some kind. So there would be some warning. Would take hours to get coins on cryptsy Tongue
at least. But the other exchanges would go pretty fast. I noticed savvy buyer are not usually leaving large
buys wall up. Just in case. But if that pre-mine fell it would be a permanuke to the coin. But they would only
get what is on the buy orders for an hour at best.

I do have a this weird feeling though that it's legit. But you can never be sure. Such is the game here.
I want it to work for the sake of innovation. That's me at least. But I am not holding the coin - i just go in
and out a few times. heh...

808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 03, 2014, 03:47:13 AM
can someone tell me how many non-premined coins there are right now???

thanks

10,500,000

You can check out the premine addresses in the opening post on this thread.

98,451 coins are available to the market (minus pre-mine).
98,451 is the total that have been mined since launch

10,598,451 AUR is the total including pre-mine AND mined coins

10,500,000 is the pre-mine. (99% of total coins that exist (but not available) is pre-mine at this time.)

I would bet that 99% of people don't even know this simple but critical info.
$ 26.10 x 98,451 = $2,569,571 actual market cap on coins that are purchasable (1% of CMC cap stated).

Which is fine. Just people need to know this. $2.5 million cap is very reasonable for a such hot coin.
In three weeks when 330k people get these in their hands we will see where the cap goes but it's possible it could
be way less than $250m or it could be a lot more. There is really no way to tell and up to you what you think may happen.
Depends what the people do with them.

It will be a really really cool experiment - that is for sure.

809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRT] Particle | CPU/GPU, Fast, Easy Mine, * NO PREMINE * | Official Thread on: March 02, 2014, 06:43:53 AM

Block         Approx. Time
176023   2014-02-27 06:09:20

now time is 2014-03-1

pls fix it

It's stuck. Moonmoon hasn't been on in 3 days.
There is a 7 day time limit till removal from CMC.

If anyone here has his e-mail or direct message then tell him the explorer is down.
If you cannot get him within 24 hours to fix it then make a new explorer and send it to coinmarketcap.com
to replace the dead one.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you like Auroracoin, you're going to LOVE Mazacoin (MZC)! on: March 02, 2014, 06:37:06 AM

Are you sure it is conjunction with the "government"?  Lakota Nation has 30,000 extremely poor Indians, many without smart phones or internet.  Not sure why the tribe elders would officially back a coin.  They are more concerned with basic needs.  The following websites aren't much as the Lakota are few and not so wired.

This is the Lakota government website. http://www.oglalalakotanation.org/oln/Home.html

This is the newspaper http://www.lakotacountrytimes.com/

The radio station http://www.kiliradio.org/

No mention of Maza anywhere.  I am all for the Indians having a coin, I want them too.   But these pseudo official coins which aren't official at all to me just hurt cryptocurrencies more than they help.  Can anyone explain why it is not just another pump and dump by a creator, just with the sham of attaching a "people" to it.

https://twitter.com/MazaCoin
Yes it's legit. It's official.

We need a Mazacoin thread from the official Dev. Someone tell him. It will greatly help coin value and rep.
As  trader I need to see a thread at BCT Smiley so I can write about price projections!!! heh

I guess a $10 hosting payment to keep a block explorer running 24/7 isn't worth it to keep a $1M dollar market cap coin
from going to a $100 cap coin.

Cool.

oh by the way -- anyone here can make a working 24/7 block explorer that shows total coins and send it
to coinmarketcap.com to replace the one that keeps going down all the time. If it's worth half your coins value.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mazacoin shoots up 1000% in 48hr after flurry of media reports on: March 01, 2014, 10:22:44 PM
WOW Why do I always find out too late about a coin that explodes then f I buy it is being then dumped lol. I think though that this coin has potential because it is backed up by a whole ethnic community of sorts Smiley.

Because all coins go up then down then up then down and so on... Every time. Smiley

Dev of Mazacoin needs to make an official thread in the Alt coin section for Maza.
It's kind of a big deal coin and should have a real thread so people can discuss it.

Kind of history making coin.. so...
https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=MZC&b=BTC
Doing pretty well ^^ last 2 days

Only on 1 exchange and did 120 BTC yesterday volume.

816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 01, 2014, 11:14:53 AM
Cmon people start buying this shit-coin I have plenty of it waiting to be sold ...

Dump it at 3 satoshi and the whale will buy it. He needs market share before moon. So help him out.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 01, 2014, 10:36:32 AM
People do realize that the entire yearly GDP of Iceland is around 12.5 billion USD right?

People realize that this coin is being propagated, no matter how indirectly, as a 'currency replacer' of a NATION STATE by someone who doesn't even come forward with his identity, right?

People do realize that right now the entire BITCOIN market is around 7 billion USD....right?

In other words....Aurora is going to casually 'add' about 3% of its entire GDP (at current prices) over a period of 4 months (supposedly) to a nation state comprising of 340,000 people. About 300 million USD.

Based on a 50% premine that the dev supposedly holds secure, without slowly cashing it out over time, and no one knows who he is. A premine he will supposedly generously distribute for free to the population of the entire nation.

What the hell is wrong with this picture?

SHHHH, stop asking rational questions. lol.

Exactly. As a comparison Mazacoin is 100x more legit. And it's now confirmed to be the official Lakota people's currency.
Video interviews and a public and know team with Maza. All out in the open. I think Maza is going to be one for the history
books at this point. It's a true first.

With AUR 99% of the coins are held by Dev and no one can know for sure if they can hold back from cashing in on a million dollars
or much much more anytime they please with no accountability.

The saddest scenario would be that this is a scam and that the pre-mine is dumped and this time the news will run with that
since AUR has tons of press. All on the heels of Gox. Thereby further damaging crypto's reputation to a new low.

I hope this is real. That is all.

818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 01, 2014, 12:14:43 AM
I'm all for this if it's legit. But there are mutiple scary elements.

Someone should setup a script and post it that monitors the pre-mine addresses :
http://www.auroracoin.org/
They are found on the Airdrop "blueprint" page.

Then if the pre-mine is moved everyone can know.
If that can be done I would feel safer. Everyone here has been burned by pre-mined coins.
Some of us badly.

How many coins are really in circulation? It can't be really 10 million or prices would have crashed

Does this 10 million include the premined coined?

Looks like there are less than 100,000 coins in circulation or something?

95,000 right.

So the "market cap" is based on if the value of 95,000 coins = value of all of them

Which of course is not true. True cap is like 2 million $. At the moment.
