The thing I like best about bitcoin is it was the first coin.
Wait...that's the only thing I like about it too.....

There are serious capital controls implemented in Greece right now: You can only withdraw €60 from your bank account in one day, and no overseas transfers. That's insane! If they'd switch to btc - then there would be no problems with protecting their savings. I mean, blockchain can't just close and say 'oh no, we aren't working today - come tomorrow' like banks in Greece currently do. No.

Ok - Carboncoin is now on.. Good work guys

Crypsy.com's Bluecoin wallet is also still in maintenance mode.
Wallet is back online now Nice work

Good work guys! I notice the coin has few free votes so lets get that number up. It will cost u nothing except that you hold a small BTC balance on the site.

any working pool ?
None of the pools listed on the homepage work. Edit: Assuming this coin has a future, I'm also wondering why the client runs as a background process (that takes forever to close) rather than an app like all other coin clients?

DONT USE COINS-Ethey are a scam exchange. Their support email addresses bounce, site is barely functional and I still have not gotten back the carboncoin from months ago that i mentioned here previously. I've lost shitcoins there before too.

Anyone else notice that Cryptsy.com's Bluecoin wallet has been in maintenance mode for over a week???
My personal wallet has synced fine.
I submitted a support ticket asking for a time frame and that told me they could not give me one at the time... Anyone else inquire?
Thanks.

I don't think that was ever really used. Thanks for at least replying

why has cryptsy locked the wallet?
When Craptsy locks a wallet it can be locked forever. This coupled with the fact Earthcointalk.org is now a cooking site does not make this coin look like something most people would want to invest in.

I have bought some dgb, i have the feeling that this old and still active coins will perform during the coming months, rather than the new shitcoins that are being created each day
It seems there is a trend back to the original scrypt coins.

Are there any parameters I can use to set static difficulty for my workers? I get a lot of rejects after one of my workers starts mining and vardiff starts raising the diff. cheers Hope you dont mind me asking, are you using different workers for each unit you are connected with? As what I can see i only see you using one worker. If you have more than one, please try to use more than one worker, and the rejects will go away, until a solution is in place. You can have as many workers you need, ther are no limit. If you are still havin trouble after trying that, let me know and i can setup a port for you with a static diff, hardcoded. Cheers. Hi, I am running the same worker on 2 x devices. The only way around this would be to run a different miner (ie changing drivers for the different COM ports and launching 2 different processes) which is a pain. Thats fine, I'll just keep running the 1 mining instance for now p.s. I did manage to split the 2 miners by running 2 instances of bfgminer but my reject rate goes up very quickly with the pool dying within a couple of minutes.

Ok, so the ONLY working pool you have going now is https://emc2.suprnova.cc which seems to have no idea how to handle ASIC's. Within 60 seconds I got 100% rejects. Passing on this coin for now until someone puts up a pool that works. Bear in mind also that while you have a shortage of working pools, the network hashrate is so low that the coin is exposed to a malicious 51% attack that could fork it beyond repair. Yeah I have no idea how to handle ASIC's.. Sure .. I would have expected such a sentence from a Legendary member You're probably trying to get Nicehash running on the pool, use port 3367 for that, i've added the Port to the Header of the pool now too. Port 3365 works much better. Nice work

Yea looks like we might need to vote to get it added on another exchange. Any suggestions anyone? yeah C-cex, actually we should have got on it last Sat, Carbon had most votes 3 mins before it ended yet they choose another coin. Also c-cex's timer is 2(maybe 1) hours off, winner is picked before it ends!!! I emailed them, now it looks like bytecent is really keen to get on so we need a load more paid votes if we wanna get on this sat, otherwise next week? https://c-cex.com/?id=voteThanks for this - will get a few votes up
