SuperNET already has this functionality working in it's API, and it does quite a bit more as well.
We are happy for them We simply offer a different service from superNet. Sharecloud.co is a "normal" cloud service, with amazing streaming and sharing functions, nothing less nothing more. The innovation, apart from wallet tech specs and features, is about that we accept CLOUDTOKENS and BTC for pro plans. Cheers. You are right, I didn't mean to troll. Good luck on this!

SuperNET is the future, whether you all can see it or not. It offers REAL innovation, and you can monitor its progress on its forum forum.thesupernet.org and its codebase github.com/jl777/btcd. As a tester for it, I am very happy with the progress I am seeing. Sooo many awesome functions are already working between our nodes! I'm happy with being an investor, as I can see real progress.

How is buyer/seller trust established? Is there seller ratings or something? Screenshots of the actual interface would have been nice on the website.
There isn't a seller rating yet, but it is currently just the first release. Next release is Sunday, November 9. Features include: - Image Preview: See if you have the right URLs for your images before listing your item!
- A standalone version (no more messy install!)
- Seller ID in item listings is now a link to see all items from that seller
- Tightened security
- Passphrase fields now integrate with password managers such as 1Password and LastPass
- Improved Chinese localization
- New localizations: German, Spanish, Lithuanian
- More built-in help
- Various bug fixes
As you can see, they are making some great progress! Also, here is another planned feature: A web version is in the works. It won't be ready for this upcoming release, I don't think. But it's good to have a headline feature for each release, so maybe the following one https://nxtforum.org/index.php?topic=6231.msg124378#msg124378

sounded good but after taking a look at it i think its too early for the mass.
i dont have nxt or a nxt wallet so i cant use it. im not willing to download a nxt client, then download the market plugin and then copy some files from one place to the other just to get it to work.
me as a simple customer just wants an online place where i can sign in and buy stuff in 1 minute. i dont want to loose hours just figuring out how to get into this market.
this is not meant as fud, but i think its just too early for normal people to use this.
You all are both right. It is still very early, but at least they actually have a working release! There is an online version in the works, so you'll be able to just sign in with your NXT password and browse/use the FreeMarket. It is still early, but shows tremendous promise and I think it is just awesome Definitely worth it to keep an eye on this.

NXT Freemarket! You can sell anything on there for 0 fees for the rest of 2014. It's awesome. Of course, being a new product, it's not as mature as it will be, but it's under active development, with a new version due Nov. 9. A few transactions have already taken place. Not sure why things like OpenBazaar have been getting so much press, when this is actually released! nxtfreemarket.comhttps://nxtforum.org/freemarket/

Kademlia... that's distributed hash tables, aka DHT. DHT uses servers to lookup and locate nodes. Therefore it's not truly distributed, thus not P2P. In contrast, the Xnode protocol, upon which the XBridge is based, is completely serverless in operation and truly distributed.
So what exactly will XBridge use?
|
|
|
SuperNET will be implemented into other coins, not just BitcoinDark. Also, today I learned that Bittorrent (Kademlia)is not p2p. LOL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KademliaKademlia is a distributed hash table for decentralized peer-to-peer computer networks designed by Petar Maymounkov and David Mazières in 2002.

Has anyone been able to build miniupnpc on Windows with 64-bit? I keep getting:
C:\deps\miniupnpc>make -f Makefile.mingw init upnpc-static make: 'init' is up to date. wingenminiupnpcstrings miniupnpcstrings.h.in miniupnpcstrings.h make: wingenminiupnpcstrings: Command not found make: *** [miniupnpcstrings.h] Error 127

There are at least three fundamental differences between the Blocknet and Supernet:
- XBridge is not an RPC call protocol, it's a true P2P protocol - There's no central or core currency, unlike SuperNET, which uses BTCD for this - Joining the Blocknet does not involve 10% of a coin's money supply being bought and centrally controlled
Shame on you
Please explain how SuperNET is not p2p.

Hi guys, I just wanted to post something about blocknet. I don't want to troll their thread, so I thought I'd post it here. Here is their claim: There are at least three fundamental differences between the Blocknet and Supernet:
- XBridge is not an RPC call protocol, it's a true P2P protocol - There's no central or core currency, unlike SuperNET, which uses BTCD for this - Joining the Blocknet does not involve 10% of a coin's money supply being bought and centrally controlled
1. SuperNET calls are made via rpc to the coin daemon, yet the network uses a kademlia dht, like bittorrent. Plus, is he saying that bitcoin is not 'true p2p' because it uses rpc calls? Does he think SuperNET has a point of centralization somewhere? 2. BitcoinDark is not 'the' central currency to SuperNET. Does he not realize that SuperNET runs on top of the NXT blockchain? BitcoinDark is the first coin with SuperNET integrated and has teleport, yes. Is he saying that individual coins cannot be integral parts of the network by offering their respective unique techs? 3. SuperNET purchased these coins on the open market, necessarily raising the NAV of the SuperNET asset. Are the blocknet guys ignorant of the facts, or are they being intentionally misleading?

Everything is down on ae

I don't know about you all, but at this point I will see BitcoinDark go to 0 before I sell a single coin. This price is insulting, it doesn't reflect our value at all. Just wait until v2 is released

...and down again. The https://mega.co.nz/#!RodmgLKT!ODjIWKaz9d2vTo6pWIzE6B5LMmLX_vP3Bge0QOw5cyI link works atm thouigh. Very interesting, just discovered it. Have been waiting for Open Bazaar for a while, is this essentially the same thing but with NXT instead of BTC? I haven't done much research on Open Bazaar, but I believe so. All sales are done directly on the blockchain and your ip address is not logged. A few sales have been made so far, seems to work well. Planned features include seller ratings and other features described on their forum. They need to get a better host for the site, I guess they have been having quite a few downloads. If you don't trust the mega alternate download, the FreeMarket dev posted an official mirror: https://nxtforum.org/nxtventures/freemarket-official-thread/msg117572/#msg117572

I appreciate the service - but I'll think I'll wait until I can at least begin to judge the legitimacy of this release before I download an execute an arbitrary .exe. Is there nothing on the nxt forum relating to this release? Sure, just thought I'd be helpful https://nxtforum.org/nxtventures/freemarket-official-thread/
