I've seen a few offers of 3 BTC/100GIOTA => 3*27795 = 83385 BTC Market Cap (~55,034,100 USD)
Final claiming, full client/network release and full foundation funding. Not to mention the "big deal" coming to fruition. These things are increasingly likely and I think to sellers pretty much a given now. This certainty is what this price reflects. We are not back in Dec 2015. I believe the market will have a base at this price upon exchange trading, with much room for growth. Eth has shown what a legit alt offering can do and NEM has show what a totally worthless alt can even pump to. $50MM is the baseline if not higher. I agree. The numbering system can be a little confusing, I wanted everyone to be able to easily calculate at what price he is buying. |

I have been following IOTA and snagged a little. I think this is just the calm before the storm. Expect $100 million at launch or near. i am feeling reminded at the silly Lisk thread right before launch  $100m is possible but not at launch imo. i expect launch will be near $20m. I agree, let's not get too ahead of ourselves. IOTA has way less hype than other recent ICOs. It is built on a solid technical foundation and is headed by one of the most famous devs in crypto. In my opinion, what remains to be seen is whether it can break into the mainstream crypto scene. This was one of NXTs' problems. Great tech, far beyond anything else, and yet it is now not even in the top 10. |

Has anybody a prediction what the first initial price on a exchange could be for 100Giota?
Seems to be trading around ~15M usd market cap right now, I'm thinking a 20 Million USD market cap initial floor is likely. So that would currently put 100GIOTA at ~1.08btc How come? If the lowest is 20BTC /TIOTA, then the lowest is 2 BTC/100GIOTA. And this IF seller is legit, and before foundation establishment. So where did you see 1BTC/100GIOTA? You'd be lucky if you find such price imo. I was calculating a 20M USD market cap as the possible floor. |

Real prices from sellers who use escrow would be much higher imo.
E.g. I would expect something like 3BTC/100gIOTA and later 5BTC/100gIOTA or even 10BTC/100gIOTA - after release. That is because I have faith in IOTA and realize it's potential.
Current iota marketcap in USD is ~ 15 - 20 mil USD. I think no one doubts that iota will hit at least 50 mil USD cap. I personally think it will likely be in 100 - 200 mil range. Or a few billions, if JINN project will come out of stealth mode. But don't tell anybody My prediction is $40-$60 on launch, and $150-$200 once people realize what it is, and see some of the partnerships. A billion usd within a year. The hype is real, the fomo will be stronk. What a lovely dream that would be |

Since we will be able to send and receive transactions as of June 30, I don't see why exchanges can't have IOTA listed for trading on July 11.
