I have all sorts of weird coins just sitting there, maybe for a future digital museum of cryptos

Agree. why not a logo competition, dev?
I would have a logo competition but I am basically skint at the moment as everything extra has gone into making this work. I would appreciate any ideas and I would say that anyone who would contribute would get some reward later on.

Don`t give up dev you`re doing great I`m following on twitter @relja Give me your BITZ address

What I am looking for;
Anyone with good knowledge of Pinterest and Tumblr or other social platforms that could keep up some activity to promote BITZ on a weekly basis. Pay in BITZ or BTC, negotiable ...

BITZ was always meant to be taken seriously and the aim is to make it look "professional" as this is the aim for the new website, so I have made some new logos, very simple ones, but having looked at numerous other crypto logos I like the simple ones. A simple and recognisable logo / symbol will make it easier to promote. Please any comments or suggestions...? The name "BITZ" was chosen for two reasons; it's short and to the point and reflects the nature of the "thing" which is an electronic currency. Secondly, there is no "coin" in the name as is customary for most cryptos. I suspect that in the future, the term "coin" will be obsolete but the concept of bits (BITZ) and bytes will not be obsolete. The Z is meant to symbolise what sets BITZ apart from the bits and also it is meant to symbolise the Z as the last in the alphabet and so the last currency you will ever need. The initial logo was a bit random and I want to streamline the graphics and use that in the design of the new website and the new wallet. Any thoughts???

Who is following us on Twitter? Let me know your twitter tags and I assume that you all follow and RT all the posts?

Price is very low over at c-cex. Anyone with an interest in bitz can get them with less cost than mining.
I agree, the price is really low, do your own math, there will be maybe 2,000,000 coins after the PoW phase which will end soon and I think that 200-300 satoshi is way down.

Backup, then delete everything except your wallet. If you get an error on first run, leave the wallet to sync fully then restart wallet. Did this, after having same problem, worked ever since.
I already did this, it doesn't work for me... The start-up error is 'normal' and it happens once and this appears in many wallets, not just BITZ but I dont know whats causing it. It should work after you close it and then start it again. I don't know how many people have this issue but I haven't heard. Part of the reason I put the poll up (that nobody has answered) was to get an idea of how many people are using Windows. I am not able to count the number of downloads. True, the start-up error is normal, but it happens all the time i start the wallet. Did you check the link i posted before, i have the same issue. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18361026/runtime-error-for-qt-applicationvoted poll We are looking into it

I would have answered your poll, but its impossible - forum just shows the question and the list of options to answer, no buttons to actually vote. Probably you forgot to activate something... Yes, thanks, that a bit embarrassing but it's been fixed now, please vote so that I can see what you are using. This may help to direct future changes etc.

dev here! News to follow!
Don't panic because I haven't posted anything for two days. I have been on Twitter if you haven't noticed trying to build a twitter tribe. I am working on establishing a presence on Tumblr, Pinterest, Facebook and Ello. I have contacted a number of exchanges over the last few days. If there are any updates I will post it. I am working on new graphics. I am working on a new website. I am working on a white paper. I am considering any new features or changes to the wallet and the infrastructure. etc.....
There is only one (sometimes two) of me and I have a day-job as well but as I have said, it's a long term thing.
I would also hope that the community engagement would extent beyond: "where dev"
If you have an interest you can take an active part or you can standby but then you have to be a bit patient.
Are you working on a new wallet??? Cause mine still crashes and i can't use my funds. What wallet are you running? And what is the exact problem? Are you unable to transfer?

c-cex Block: 74086, Sup: 1476427 why 1476427?
It's due to PoS blocks that generate less than 35 BITZ per block Take block 75347 for example (check the block explorer) generated 0.09615277 BITZ staking and no PoW

Can someone explain the total number of coins please:
Below (getinfo) the moneysupply is shown as 24019028.79038081 but with 1000 KOBO per block and 85710 block that number should be 85,710,000, right? or? { "version" : "v2.0.0.0", "protocolversion" : 60013, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 134134.40084649, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 85710, "timeoffset" : -12, "moneysupply" : 24019028.79038081, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "81.105.192.121", "difficulty" : { "proof-of-work" : 8.20960502, "proof-of-stake" : 0.13964356 }, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1423321192, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00000000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" }
Same with the block explorer, it shows 24019028.79038081 for block 85710.
Can someone please explain this?
