1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is anyone planning to take part in the Open Campus (EDU) Binance Launchpad? on: April 25, 2023, 09:11:24 PM
To be honest, I have never taken part in an IEO on any centralized exchange. However, Binance has recently introduced a new subscription model for new projects that requires a commitment of BNB. Despite being an old crypto user, this is a completely new concept for me. Upon conducting thorough research on all previous projects launched on Binance Launchpad, I became interested in committing to it. On April 28th, Binance Launchpad will be launching Open Campus (EDU) and I have set aside some BNB to invest in it. I am aware that it involves a certain level of risk, but it's a risk worth taking as we cannot earn without taking chances.

Is anyone else planning to invest in EDU?
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sui TokenSale on Bybit, OKX and Kucoin? on: April 25, 2023, 09:01:25 PM
I have previous experience using Kucoin, but I have never participated in a token sale on their platform. I don't have any accounts on other exchanges either. Although I have never invested in an initial token sale on any centralized exchange, I am interested in trying it out on Binance Launchpad. I recently heard about an upcoming token sale called EDU scheduled for April 28th, and I am currently learning how to commit BNB and considering participating in the sale.
1063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best non Kyc exchange on: April 25, 2023, 08:54:27 PM
Centralized exchanges have the power to alter their rules and terms & conditions at any time. Some exchanges, such as Kucoin, allow trading without KYC, but this policy can change at any moment. Bybit was previously a popular exchange that didn't require KYC, but it will now be mandatory. Therefore, it's not advisable to be too confident in trading without KYC on centralized exchanges if you want to stay completely secure. It's best to use a reputable decentralized exchange. However, if you choose to trade on Kucoin without KYC, exercise caution as it is well-regarded but subject to change.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins, Telegram and Security on: April 25, 2023, 08:20:24 PM
I did come across a message regarding the Telegram wallet, but I didn't feel compelled to use it or learn more about it. I am unsure whether it is a custodial or non-custodial wallet, as I already use a Ledger Nano X to store my cryptocurrency. I am confident in the security of my current storage method and do not see the need to use any other wallet, even for instant swaps. I have not read the entirety of the message sent by Telegram wallet, as I am simply not interested in it.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spain's most anti-privacy and anti-crypto law comes into force. on: April 25, 2023, 08:12:33 PM
If you utilize any centralized organization, it's impossible to safeguard your privacy completely. This implies that if you conduct any transactions with a centralized exchange or wallet linked to a bank, your transactions would be reported to the government. The most secure method to manage your funds is through non-custodial wallets and Decentralized exchanges. Moreover, you can convert your currency through peer-to-peer (p2p) exchanges.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: April 24, 2023, 05:34:42 PM
There are several benefits to a price drop for those who have yet to invest or are waiting to accumulate. A drop in price often indicates an upcoming surge, and experienced traders can take advantage of the volatility. Sometimes, a bear trap occurs when panic sellers exit the Bitcoin market. Personally, if I believe it's the right time to buy, I try to accumulate during major drops.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation may have driven me to this, bitcoin has the power to reverse it on: April 24, 2023, 05:22:10 PM
Always focus on a positive mindset towards your life, as being unhappy won't make any positive changes. Instead, focus on your future and learn from your past mistakes. It's important not to dwell on the past but to use it as a learning experience. If you find yourself regretting not investing in Bitcoin 10 years ago, remember that it's not too late to start investing now. Simply saving your money in a bank won't increase your wealth, you need to invest it wisely. Bitcoin is currently below its all-time high, so it's a great opportunity to research and consider investing in it or other similar opportunities. Keep an open mind and explore your options.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 24, 2023, 05:00:39 PM
To be transparent, we do not endorse the use of centralized exchanges, even though some of us may be utilizing them. Personally, I must admit that I still use centralized exchanges for various reasons. Firstly, trading on centralized exchanges is more convenient and there is a higher level of liquidity. Although it's not ideal to hold our funds there, I always transfer my funds to my ledger wallet for added security. When I need to convert my assets into cash, I am compelled to use centralized exchanges due to their wider availability.

Additionally, centralized exchanges offer a broader range of trading pairs, enabling us to trade tokens that we are interested in. Decentralized exchanges may not always be an ideal solution for this purpose. The latest trading features are usually available on centralized exchanges, which is another reason why I prefer them. However, if decentralized exchanges offered the same benefits and facilities, I would happily switch to them.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What things do you study while choosing a wallet? on: April 24, 2023, 04:51:58 PM
Recently, I've been relying on the Ledger Nano X hardware wallet to ensure the security of my cryptocurrency funds. Above all else, safeguarding my assets is of utmost importance to me. I am not comfortable with entrusting my crypto to a custodial or centralized wallet as it would mean granting third-party access to my funds. Prior to obtaining a hardware wallet, I had been using Electrum, which is also a non-custodial wallet. Hence, it's clear that I will always opt for a non-custodial wallet to store my crypto, even if it's not a hardware wallet.
1070  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will you sell because of situations? on: April 23, 2023, 08:50:57 PM
Are you out of your mind? What are your plans for your cryptocurrency in the event of a family member's passing? Isn't the purpose of earning money to provide for your family? Is cryptocurrency not considered money? I apologize for the barrage of questions, but they're necessary for a proper response. Money is meaningless in the face of losing a loved one. Cryptocurrency should be utilized for your essential needs, not just held onto. Even if it means selling your cryptocurrency to provide for your family, it should be done. It's crucial to recognize the situation's urgency and take action, rather than continue to ask questions. The priority right now should be to sell his cryptocurrency and use the funds to rescue his sisters from the kidnappers.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep hodling your Bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 08:41:51 PM
As a beginner, I used to think the same way. Whenever Bitcoin took a dip, I would become anxious and worry that it would never recover. However, I later realized that this fear stemmed from my lack of knowledge and that serious investors don't panic over short-term fluctuations. Unfortunately, many new Bitcoin users share this same mindset and end up losing their Bitcoin and reducing their overall crypto portfolio due to fear-based decisions. Therefore, it is crucial to educate ourselves on Bitcoin and its price movements, using tools such as live charts and historical data to gain a better understanding of its behavior
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Important update on Bitcoin. Why is it falling? Will it go lower? on: April 23, 2023, 08:35:37 PM
The basic premise is that pumps lead to corrections and vice versa, and this pattern has repeated itself consistently in Bitcoin's history. When Bitcoin remains stable for a few days, there is a heightened risk of significant movement in either direction. If Bitcoin jumps in value, it is likely to experience a subsequent dump, and if it dumps, it is likely to experience a subsequent pump. This is why Bitcoin is considered a highly volatile cryptocurrency. Nevertheless, long-term holders need not fear, as they have historically seen gains. Patience is required, but the rewards are often substantial.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Real Estate Crush Bitcoin Investment In 2023? on: April 23, 2023, 08:27:28 PM
Real Estate and Bitcoin are two distinct entities. While Real Estate is a business, Bitcoin is an investment, functioning as a currency that is highly volatile. Real Estate typically generates profits, making it a lucrative business. However, comparing it to Bitcoin would be inappropriate, as each business should not be measured against Bitcoin. It would be absurd to suggest that people abandon all other business ventures and exclusively invest in Bitcoin. The reality is that we require real-life businesses to function in society, in addition to Bitcoin investment.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think China is playing a double game? on: April 23, 2023, 08:14:05 PM
Honestly, it can be difficult to understand the mindset of the Chinese people. I'm curious why China seems to be lagging behind the US in terms of allowing its citizens to use Bitcoin. It seems that they have realized that they shouldn't fall behind the US because Bitcoin is the most up-to-date and secure technology in the world of cryptocurrency. By banning Bitcoin, they are distancing themselves from those who accept it. Nonetheless, China is likely more aware of their own motives and reasoning for their actions.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this Rule Apply to Institutional Investors? on: April 23, 2023, 08:05:37 PM
Investment rules are subjective and vary from person to person, including institutional investors who may have multiple sources of income. Even if they take out a loan to buy Bitcoin, they are capable of regularly repaying the loan to the bank regardless of whether Bitcoin's value increases or decreases. Generally, those with larger amounts of money are able to take greater risks, while those with smaller amounts can only take smaller risks. These are simple but important principles to keep in mind.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you want bitcoin to stay? on: April 20, 2023, 09:34:36 PM
As Bitcoin investors, our desire is to hold onto Bitcoin indefinitely. We value Bitcoin because it provides us with financial autonomy and enables us to conduct cross-border transactions without the need for intermediaries. This makes us partial towards Bitcoin. While this decentralized nature of Bitcoin poses a challenge to centralized governments, it is beneficial for citizens. By holding Bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet, we become our own banks. There are several other reasons why we wish to remain invested in Bitcoin, but a detailed description would require a longer post. The above is just a brief summary of our motivation to stay invested in Bitcoin for the long haul.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Owners Become Insolvent? on: April 20, 2023, 09:25:43 PM
Both banks and cryptocurrencies carry a certain level of risk. Banks may go bankrupt, and cryptocurrencies may experience sharp declines in value. While the amount of cryptocurrency you hold may technically remain the same, the value could still plummet, which poses a high risk. Unfortunately, there's no way to avoid risk entirely. Whether you choose to store your funds in a bank or in cryptocurrency, there are risks involved. It's essential to carefully consider your options before making any decisions.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 20, 2023, 09:19:18 PM
Initially, the amount of your investment isn't crucial, even if it's less than $30. Becoming a Bitcoin investor doesn't require a specific amount to be invested. The key point is that investing a small amount can enable you to gain knowledge about Bitcoin. Once you understand how Bitcoin works and how effortless it is to transfer funds without a third party, you may feel inspired. If someone asks you about Bitcoin, it's advisable to encourage them to learn more about it.
1079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 20, 2023, 09:14:07 PM
Understanding Bitcoin is essential to comprehend why the question posed is unnecessary. The fluctuation of Bitcoin's value is not dependent on any specific timeline for a bullish or bearish market. Rather, it is always influenced by investor behavior. As investors buy Bitcoin, the price increases, resulting in a bullish trend. Conversely, if there is a significant amount of selling, the price will drop, resulting in a bearish trend. Therefore, there is no specific period of time, whether months or years, that determines Bitcoin's price movements.
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the reason why Satoshi never made himself known to the public? on: April 19, 2023, 08:14:17 PM
Although ChatGPT can only generate responses based on the input given, the points raised are still valuable and cannot be ignored. However, the true reason behind Satoshi Nakamoto's actions remains unknown. Revealing himself would compromise the decentralization of the system, as he could potentially influence it at any time. It must be acknowledged that Satoshi is a brilliant mind who knows what he is doing. While we can express our opinions, the truth will remain unknown until Satoshi himself describes it.
