huge dump...possible rebound soon. good time to buy I would say.

I thought u were anti- P and D  Huh Also, there will be no rebound, that phase has just ended

there is 8 btc buy wall at 500 sat. I think it'll jump back again to over 1000 sat but who knows..wouldn't hurt to throw little btc in there

edit: and I was right..it just hit 910 sat

I think that buy wall is artificial, but hey we'll see at the end of the day who is right  Smiley

could be..who knows. funny to watch its price dump from 0.003 to 500 sat. lol

1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: July 23, 2015, 07:57:31 AM
Why most of these crowdfunding projects aren't offering anything in return? like some kind of share on their website/company or whatever.  I see startpeeps is offering to place your ad on their website..am I right? but other projects are just looking for free money while offering nothing GOOD in return. I have yet to see a mind blowing project on that website (excluding startpeeps)..most are just meh and already exist.

Here are things they should offer to investors: Shares, Advertising, Free handjob for lifetime? (could work)

1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Funny how bitcoin controls everything on: July 22, 2015, 05:26:04 PM
I would be glad to see BTC price $10,000, but what if the opposite?
BTC to $10 and some altcoins to $100,000 market cap from $2,000?
I think it is easier to find 100 altcoin adopters with $1,000 than 100 USD Billionaires who would invest their billions in Bitcoin to hit $10,000. It seems people outside this community usually don't invest in BTC, LTC, or in any altcoin now. The masses believe (TV, news = brainwashing) all coins (including BTC and LTC) are garbage and hyip, well, I'm not correct, the masses have not even heard about LTC or about other altcoins. They prefer dollars or euros to hold.

You may say that if Bitcoin goes to $10, altcoins will be much lower, but it may be true for high valued altcoins only.
Or in this case I personally will buy ALL old small cap altcoins listed on Cryptsy just for my collection. Wink

Disclosure: I hold BTC, LTC and many other altcoins. My whole portfolio's USD value now is 4 times higher than in Jan 2015.
If I held BTC only, it would be +40% max. I prefer investing into broad spectrum of old coins (thus no liquidity problems).

issue with altcoins is that most of them are unstable. If bitcoin gets 10% visibility..altcoins probably get 0.01% visibility from general population. Any new investor coming in altcoin would end up leaving after losing money and then stick to bitcoin or fiat.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of altcoins that can be obtained by gaming on: July 22, 2015, 03:54:40 PM
i dont think so that 30-40 yo guys will sit at front of their pc to play some games for cents.

pretty much this

gaming industry is way too high tech and people want games with awesome looking graphic. Unless YOU can create a VR game that people can play with bitcoin...VR is still in infant phase just like bitcoin and you'll get more users to adapt bitcoin.

We are actually looking at Oculus Rift.

way to go! VR is the future..put some games up for android/iphone as well since google cardboard is something anone can buy and it works with cellphone.

I personally own oculus rift and cardboard myself. I would rather use them instead of my desktop or ps4.

This thread should go to the Investor-based games (AKA "HYIPs, Ponzis & other scams") board. Anyway this is a classical ponzi, so only a fool would send money for him.

As I see no site, or other fancy stuff... hmmm scammers getting lazy nowadays.

they're running out of ideas I think...could be good for crypto as a whole.

1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: July 22, 2015, 09:47:05 AM
Let's turn big advertising dollars into Startcoin and donate them straight to your Startcoin wallet soon!

Just launched on Startjoin -> https://www.startjoin.com/Startpeeps

Join now for free, make a lot of friends and reap the rewards later.  Wink

This is the best idea/project i saw in a long time, i'm joining asap.

 Wink

Thanks much appreciated!  Smiley

I think startjoin is one of the most brilliant platform in whole crypto land, unfortunately there are too many projects that not helping the coin moving forwards, i check some projects that are funded completely and they never add startcoin to their website or company (what was promised) they just enjoy the free money and ran!

This new Startpeeps project is a is a good example of what can make start nr 1 coin.

Again except the charities there is too much useless shit on startjoin and still they receive free cash what has nothing to do with building a ecosystem around startcoin.

I'm curious to know what steps they take to assure that person who is asking for free money isn't just planning to run away with it. Does anyone know requirement for posting a project on startjoin?
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bobsurplus new scam - CryptoCircuit (CIRC) aka cryptocircus on: July 22, 2015, 09:40:21 AM
I can't believe this coin is above 10k.
Looks like someone is supporting this coin above 10k even after the huge dump a few days ago.

who do you think.... Wink

ICO was at 6K, reached 20K then bob dumped his coins and it crashed back to 7k ...bob bought again at 10k and now he is holding the market until his supply is gone and then it'll crash back below ICO price and leave bagholders just like other pnd schemes.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin Doubler on: July 22, 2015, 09:34:26 AM
wasn't there a website like this for bitcoin that got shutdown and he stole all the money?

For reference I am posting this here in this thread.

I have arranged escrow on UnusualFacts 30 btc challenge to me. I have started a dedicated thread on the bet, and am pasting the OP from that thread below.

Thread link:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1129108.msg11926752#msg11926752

OP from that thread:

To my brethren in Crypto:

I have been called a troll by "UnusualFacts30"  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=199166), an individual who has been peppering the Circuits thread with his predictions of imminent doom for that particular coin.

Several people in that thread have challenged him to back up his bluster with bets. He has assiduously avoided this.

Being a tad miffed at being called a troll, I challenged my accuser to a escrowed bet doubling the previous bets he has been avoiding.

He did me the favor of raising me 28 btc, and added further belittling spittle.

All documentation below.

BayAreaCoins, a well respected hero member of this community, has graciously offered to provide escrow for this wager.

Escrow is established as follows:

1) "UnusualFacts30" places his 30 BTC in escrow with BAC. He has 24 hrs from this posting.
2) BAC notifies me that the 30 BTC is in place, and I transfer my 30 BTC.
3) If Circuits trades at any point above 20,000 on Bittrex before next Saturday 11:59 PM PST as stipulated by UF30, I win the bet.
4) If Circuits does not do this, UF30 wins the bet.

Below you will see the exchange including the challenge from UF30.

Thread link here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1089933.msg11921792#msg11921792

I see that the hirsute Unusual Facts has called me a troll.

Buy my reading, there are two bets of .5 btc out there challenging him that Circuits will indeed - contrary to his histrionics - go above 20.

I hereby match both of those bets, so the total is now 2 BTC.  Happy to do an escrow with any of a half dozen CIRC investors on this thread.

Mr. Unusual Facts, this would be an obvious opportunity to put your money where your mouth is. Say you no to an easy 2 BTC?  If you believe what you are tirelessly saying, this should be easy money. Otherwise you would seem to be nothing but a paid troll yourself.

However, I will let your actions speak for you. Far be it for me to do as you have done.

lol@ betting pennies.

If you really want to bet put some real money in...lets say 30 BTC? If interested PM me..We'll do the real escrow and I'll make sure it doesn't go beyond 20k within this week and whoever wins by saturday gets the winning.

if not put your pennies where your mouth is.

When I was saying it wont reach 20k I was talking about that specific day not for whole year retard (and it hasn't reached 20k since my last post). Obviously it can reach 20k again within 6 months but that wasn't my point.

brb CIRC volume 3 BTC and dying
brb shills have 30 BTC to bet but don't have it to help CIRC

one would wonder that the clown who is holding 30 BTC would help his favorite coin volume and invest in it...but you assume everyone is as stupid as you are.

lol@getting butthurt and falling for trap.

You are the BIGGEST fucking troll I have ever seen. You cant come up with 0.3 btc let alone the 30 btc. And who the fuck are you to tell us about volume on a coin. You're a nobody one man show and we are an army of happy investors. Who's going to win that battle?

I'm now going to leave you some negative trust for the following reasons.
-Trolling
-Going back on your word to make a bet.

I urge everyone else here to do the same and I'll even reach out to some friends of mine on the default trust list and I'll ask them to do the same.
You're dead here kid, just like so many others who came before you.
Good bye.

I'm the troll?

riiiighhhhtttt
