I've lost around 8+ BTC in crypto. Why?
Because I was stupid enough to fall in love with a coin and result was not something I wanted. As much as I like the technology I also hate how some of the coins are so volatile. I was never a big fan of "trading" but to cover my loss I was left with no choice. Anyways, if you're losing money in crypto you can use this as guideline to make some money or cover your loss.
1.) Never fall in love with any crypto.
2.) Never buy at "Asking price"
3.) If it's 3+ months old coin like SDC, BC, DRK. Monitor all time chart and get a feel of price movement of last 1 week. For example: BC has been floating around 8-11k. If you put buy order at 8k it goes through within a day or two. Same goes for SDC it floats above 21k and if you put order below that price it goes through when it dips and then it returns back to 21k+
4.) If you're trading shitcoin don't risk more than you can afford and do not IN ANY CONDITION hold it for longer than 1 week. Again, lookout if it dip. NKMT was dipped to 30 sat and it returned back to normal. Most people panicked and those who had their buy orders ready doubled their money within 5 minutes.
5.) Spread. Coins that have maximum spread can get you more return as long as you put your order at BID price. SMBR had spread of 49% in the morning. Quick money was there for those who had their eyes opened. You should never buy at ASKING price EVER!
Do not take my advice as something hard coded. Use your own brain and experience. Do not get emotional and never try to fight the market because you can't. Some people might tell you "oh this coin is for long term don't worry about the dump" I say fck em. There are only handful of crypto that have been succesful and you can see their price don't go from 1 sat to 1000 sat within a week.
If anyone else have good advice. Feel free to share it. I think lot of traders and newbies can learn from us who have been here for years.
please give us your list of coins that aren't shit coins. SDC, BC, LTC, DRK, NXT, URO When I say "shitcoins" I don't mean if they're good or bad since that's not upto me to judge any coin. I'm specifically talking about volatility. If a coin jumps around from 1 sat to 150 sat within few hours I put it as shitcoin in my list and I trade it with extreme caution. Anything that doesn't move at the speed of light and gives you little profit is not shit and majority of the time I'm just looking for dip so I can get in and take my profit when it goes back to its original position. Here is an example of SDC which moves around 20k+ on average. If I see it dips to 19 I jump in  |

Again this comes with risk as everything else and I"m not bullshitting you when I say I've learned how to trade with profit because of experience. If you had seen my portfolio month ago it was filled with negatives but not anymore.  |

Be careful guys. I'm not saying it's a scam but btc account can easily be sold to other people. If shadowrunner account is hacked/sold then your money will be lost forever. No fud only fact.

SMBR is not done. It will go to 30k in a week if not sooner.
And how do you know this exactly  It's obvious. Price dropped with no volume. Two things happened: - either the pumpers dumped hard and quick on bagholders and everyone got out in time - this was a pre-pump, the real pump is about to come in a wave of badly blogged/twittered and facebooked announcements about how great this coin is doing, then everyone that got in, will get out and dump Spread in SMBR were 49%. I made quick profit within seconds. Now it's 19%. I don't think it's going up any further. |

Despite those blaming investors saying they didnt research are wrong.
They didn't read that a buy-wall was promised after ICO end (and then edited to state 3 days later).

This is a lie because it was an inside job and they have done it before and they will do it again and again.

Great coin. I really like the idea of decentrelized marketplace and dev seems to be delivering as promised. Going to buy 5 BTC worth of Sbit at 9k. This can easily hit 30K overnight

Bitcoin is losing it's value on daily basis. It's the most expensive digital currency..what did they expect? What goes up must come down.
2015: Rise of alts
This is exactly what I guess, too! Bitcoin "could be" about to die. And what happens then? Do you think everything is over? No! An alt will rise and takes bitcoins place. I don't think it has to take its place per say but both will exist. Bitcoin was just one huge pump and those who pumped cashed it out at the top and now it's just declining. It'll probably reach $10 in next 12 months. |

Ziftrcoin is legit. I go to their site and read some reviews and it all explains all my questions.
After reading into it I think they're very legit. Eventhough I wouldn't risk too much money in it but there are big guys supporting it plus they already have buyers who bought it. They're helping crypto and getting more adoption |

A sad year for alts? It's been a sad year for bitcoin too, though bitcoin is pretty much the only coin I think that has a future. Pretty much all the others deserve to die off as there's no genuine use for the vast majority of them.
Actually it's been sad year for bitcoin and bitcoin only. Alts are still at same value as they were..some of them have gained value overtime. Bitcoin has been on decline since January and I don't think it's EVER going back to that level again. It was one huge pump by a pro and he cashed out in January. Market is the living proof. Some rich guys were mining it and as soon as they found that they could get fiat in exchange of bitcoin they started pumping it. |
