I also wouldn't mind seeing pictures out of excitement and marketing, not proof. Seriously, are there any other coins that have developers with public identities and marketing at well known conferences? All this while developing and delivering at an unparalleled pace. Anybody that has high hopes for the future of crypto should be a holder of XC. XC makes every other coin look like it was developed by a bunch of amateurs.

Not good guys we seem to be on down trend. This may be time to sell and buy back much cheaper. Many coins seem to be out performing XC. Oh well hopefully it will rise again to new ATH but it doesn't seem like anytime soon.

this guide is just nonsense because it don't have information about rpcuser and rpcpassword. is rpcuser/rpcpassword require to run xnode? if this need then what/where/how to get them. please talk more about rpcuser/rpcpassword. for all these times i still have no staking and no xnode compensation, almost 4 weeks. If you have no staking after 4 weeks then you are doing something wrong. |

Excellent question and suggestion. This has been discussed multiple times on foundation meetings, we are not 100% sure yet. There are a lot of pro's and cons for either ways. Currently the 14 BTC is 14 BTC  . Like Stuhlman said on the launch of the dividend program, we will do what's best for the coin at the end of the program. I can see both pros and cons, but depending on the price and how much of an impact 14BTC makes and how much CAIx the 14 BTC can buy come end of the month, it may be better for everyone to receive CAIx. Titans + PSP come along and push all that CAIx way way above its original 14 BTC value. It's hard to know what's best, I agree - it really depends on how things are going at the time, I guess. Like you say. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the original plan was to use the income from the game to buy CAIx? Isn't the 14btc from the game? Wouldn't it be changing the plan if you distributed btc? |

This is a great point. If you look at the top 20 coins I believe XC is the newest or at least one of the newer coins. XC is probably priced accurately at this point based on other coins. Every top 10 coin has been around a lot longer (in crypto age) than XC. IMO, enjoy these prices for the next couple of months or so until marketing and technological developments are in full effect. XC skyrocketed in price fairly quickly and has now settled in the top 20. I have most of my crypto in XC now as a store of value. I'm confident it will at least hold it's value against BTC. XC has become my new BTC in that I'm confident in the future. So, if you are looking for a quick rise in price, XC isn't that coin anymore. It stabilized as a coin with true real life potential. |

Honestly we don't see it that way, we just want to reward the people that are simply holding this coin. The dividend program and the way it works seemed like a very good way to do exactly that... I don't know. But, if you think about, I still think you guys inadvertently created a situation where anyone that didn't qualify to become a node would probably dump and without the ability to become a node there is no incentive to buy. So, you created a lot of selling pressure with a big decrease in demand. I'm not saying it was done on purpose, just a possibility that this happened. |

Can someone explain the market strategy behind dumping a couple of K coins when ever the price start to rise below the current market value?
Single sells that could have made the owner a lot more, what market play is going on this last couple of weeks
Either: - Keep the market down so your competing coin can establish itself - Dump to shake out as many weak hands as possible. - Trade the range, and dump hard when high to avoid getting caught on the wrong side of a breakout. There are a lot of people that are pure traders and don't care about the long-term. It's not a reflection on anything except their short term day trading strategy. They add liquidity to the market so I don't mind. |

This also means that the guessing contest is now officially over.
At this moment there's a total of 607 000 valid node coins.
A total of 607 000 coins means one share is now 0.00002306 BTC.
That would result in the following dividend payouts:
2k wallet pays 0.04612 btc
5k wallet pays 0.1153 btc
10k wallet pays 0.2306 btc
15k wallet pays 0.3459 btc
20k wallet pays 0.4612 btc
We are very pleased to see that our loyal holders will be rewarded with a nice dividend.
Please note that the share value can only go up during June, when more wallets get disqualified.

So what kind of event will this be? Promoting BTC to major busineses? AVG Joe is not going to pay 300$ to get info about BTC.

are your serious? does DAN need to introduce XC to a DRK fanboy? if we really see a big picture. we should know DAN is much more aware of what he is going to do. Why not? Attending conferences and putting faces on XC makes XC very real. More real than just about every alt coin out there. You would be surprised how a face to face can change opinions. look at Ethereum and they don't even have a product yet. This is actually announcement worthy IMO. |

Thank you for the feedback on the announcement. We value it and we would like to apologize for how it was delivered.
The intent was not to create hype, but rather to simply bring the announcement to your attention.
In future all future ANN's will follow a strict process to avoid repeating this same mistake. I think I underestimated how excited people are about XC.
That said, I'm incredibly excited to be part of this team.
Honestly, something as simple as posting about the team does not needed to be announced before posting it, because essential by saying your making an announcement soon, it will be considered as something big is going to be announced, and it will be hyped only for people to be disappointed, I hope next time only big news should have per-anouncements. - Long term supporter of XC I guess we can disagree about this. I think announcing the full team is kind of a big deal. I'm floored that other people don't see it that way. |
