Have to say that I agree with pookielax31 to some extent (except his comments on price, because yes, the minor downtrend started 40 minutes before the ann released). That being said, this type of announcement should not have been hyped in the way it was (in this thread and on twitter). Almost no new information was revealed. Anyone following XC already has a good sense of the team members involved. Likewise we already knew that EM was being developed alongside REV2. So really, what information was new? In addition to this, the opening paragraph was mediocre at best... and released with typos (REV3)? I'm all for having an official statement on the team involved with XC, don't get me wrong. But this type of announcement did not deserve ANY trumpet blasts in advance (or if it did, they needed to be much more specific, because an updated team roster is hardly news). And before anyone starts calling me a FUDDER / Cinni dev (w/ comprised intentions) -- I own more XC than you, times 10. I disagree with both of you. This is hardly over hyping an announcement. Unless you are saying they should have mentioned that the announcement was about the team members? I didn't get any vibes of an earth shattering announcement from this tweet. It seems that you guys dont seem to understand how much this coin being cannibalized by a DIRECT competitor... That Coin that has first competitor advantage for Annon, and you all only seem to look at the technical aspects of all this and from traders points of view.. XC is on make or break ground right now.. 4 days master nodes payments go into effect and if we have gained no brand loyalty by then.. well it will be hard to survive... I own no drk and hold alot of XC im giving u my Professional opinion the negative tone is so it will get in to ur brains

Most coins don't have anywhere near this kind of team. Not here to pump and dump....Im holding 21k XC.... Not a good way to reach the Crypto community.. HYPE up a pdf...... already chatter about how that news was just.... meh whatever . Being a marketing major in college i do understand that over promising and under delivering is one of the worst things you can do.. Exactly what was done What were you expecting exactly? We already know EM and rev 2.0 won't be out for a bit. Companies market the hiring of key team members all the time. [snip] great summary, given the fact that he backed out of the newest challange for the multipath beta i think his intentions are clear now. but that doesn'T metter after all, the whole process helped XC finally but since that wasn't his personal intention (rather the opposite) there is no need for a thank you or any kind of forgiving gesture either. the status quo is this: the only guy who could find the sender with a method that wasn 100% fair play anyway can no longer find it now with REV1.5 !!! the test is still running so i don't celebrate before the final wistle Chaeplin's stated reason for not testing the new release is that he believes ATCSECURE did not acknowledge the hard link Chaeplin provided. I think that we are obliged to give Chaeplin the benefit of the doubt here regarding his beliefs, since we have no proof of the contrary. If I were in his position and genuinely believed that I'd been hard done by, I'd also be unwilling to continue. It's just unfortunate that he's mistaken in his belief. That's all it comes down to, in my opinion. As an aside, I think it's a good idea to be gracious to one's opponents. It makes one a good sport. We gain nothing by being victorious and mean. come on , he allwys kept going without bountys or any acknowledgement and the moment his method doesn't work anymore he plays the emotionally hurt? whatever. i also think its not the moment to confront him but i can understand some people can'T hold back right now. just be happy for the achievments of the whole XC team. well done boys. You're right: we have no reason to believe that he's telling the truth. But what I mean is that we have no proof that he's not telling the truth, so it's better for us if we just accept his reasons. Look, I actually like Chaeplin and it is possible that he backed out of the challenge due to the reasons he stated. But, based on my real life experience dealing with big egos, it's more likely he just can't find the answer. The odds are too high that he would love nothing more than to crack another challenge put forth directly from ATCSecure himself. On top of that, this wasn't just another wallet update, this was Rev1.5. Blowing a hole in Rev1.5 would make it a whole new ballgame and I seriously doubt he or any other would miss on that opportunity. IMO, the odds are heavily in favor of him failing to solve the problem. Backing out is the best course of action because guessing at a completely wrong answer is much worse. He knows it. |

I am now 100% confident that true anon will happen very soon, and it will be right here with XC. I keep checking the price and laugh to myself. To whomever is keeping the price down thank you. I need to buy as many as possible before the price hits .01 I'm convinced that rev 1.5 is 100% anonymous. With all the FUD that ATCsecure and XC has endured and nobody has even made a guess so far? Not name makes coin, but coin makes name !  Sum2 is OK. In my personal opinion, it's doesn't sound like a serious name. Of course, neither does Doge. Yeah I don't think the name is a big deal. Go to page one of Bittrex volume and tell me what coin names sound totally serious to you Ok, but I don't own any of those coins. Most of the coins I own have a serious sounding name. Summercoin sounds like something that's a fad. Sorry, it just does. The name is part of the marketing, so saying it doesn't matter is wrong. |
