No group. Just me, and my available time.

great for your iniciative! but if you are doing all the work by your own, you will probably need help.
You will need coding and marketing skills in your team.

That is correct. But for now until I get all the new wallets compiled and website finish, I will gladly retain the control. And we don't even have enough funds to get those people on board. Also, don't want to ruin what I'm doing with people who only talk and no show. You know what I mean? This needs to be done correctly, and by people who actually care about the future of this coin.

I see you are compromised with NYC, but I'm worried about you gladly retaining the control. How many NYC do you have?

No need to be worried, I'm only here to help. Control is best for knowing who does what for this coin. IT's not about keeping the coin... Plus this thing has been dead for some time now, and I've been following it since day one. And all alone I have done some beautiful things, for ex, new domain, new logo, new ann, wallets compiled with new logo, and a few more things that will be out in a few days. Also, I got it number one on Cryptopia for the second week straight so this week is our week to get listed. Cryptsy will be next also. And again I'm the one putting the funds up for this with no complaints, but since you are worried I have to put it out there.

And as for me, I have no NYC. But the takeover bucket has 200 million in just one day. So it's up to you if you want to be worried.

not worried now  Wink

Great job!

I havent synced it yet, but I have a feeling the money supply will be VERY high. Do you have any plans later to do a coin swap and reduce the money supply?
Yes. Once I get the coin going we will re-build in a new algo and swap. But no POS will ever be introduced

Before making any change in money supply, a question:

Do we want to be store of value or everyday transaction coin?

I think the first one will be Bitcoin for sure, so we need to be the everyday transaction coin.

For that reason it can NOT be scarce, it must be abundant.

I think we are OK with the money supply

Me explico.

esto no he entendido

2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sterlingcoin - Version 1.5 (PoS Fix Hardfork Block 260,000 | OpenSSL Fix) on: July 29, 2015, 10:47:26 PM
Hello Bittrex,

As we are sure you are aware we have recently updated our wallet to version 1.5 and had a hardfork at block 260,000. However because of the update to LevelDB to 1.18 we are still unable to provide Mac and Windows wallets to users. This has caused issues with the network and caused transactions to slow whilst they are waiting for the release.

Please could you not close the market but at least just take note that that is why the trade volume is low. The users want to buy and sell but until the network is stable it isn't actually viable.

Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.

Many thanks,

Spencer Lievens
Lead Developer
Sterlingcoin

Hope Bittrex understands we are a long term project.

Anyway, I think the community should handle this situations.
I'm making some volume, help is apreciated... Roll Eyes

is FUJI translated to any other languaje? Japanese?

Hi Rw13enlib88,

Yes, this page:
http://www.fujicoin.org/index-ja.html

Thank!!!

A question

What about getting into more exchanges?

I think Countrycoins will be a great success, and exchanges should be interested in them.

And FUJI is one of them!!

Cryptsy
Bittrex
Poloniex

What do you think guys?

I think that it is a good idea, but it would be difficult to listing in these exchanges?   Smiley

not if we have some active dev, active community or real PR going on (japanese journalist talking about FJC)

"japanese journalist talking about FJC"..?
What are they talking about FujiCoin?
Why you know it?

I didnt explain myself correctly.

It's gonna be easier to be listed in new exchanges if we have:

Active dev
 or
Active community
 or
PR in japanese media

How regularly does Bittrex decide whether a particular coin should be retained on their website or not?  Seems like it doesn't really hurt them to have it on there...

Every 15 days.

One week warning
Other week without warning
Next week with warning (if we dont make 0.2 btc volume daily)
2517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sterlingcoin - Version 1.5 (PoS Fix Hardfork Block 260,000 | OpenSSL Fix) on: July 27, 2015, 10:51:29 PM
OK so currently we are falling behind from block 260,000 's hard fork.

What this means is that the majority of the network is still on version 1.4.0.0 which has a different calculation for PoS blocks to version 1.5.0.0

Any PoS blocks generated on any wallet prior to version 1.5.0.0 will in fact be a wrong calculation but will be accepted as currently the majority of the wallets on the network have the old PoS code and that is still the general consensus/agreement between the wallets on the network.

If you are running the 1.5.0.0 Linux wallet you will notice your PoS blocks are not being accepted as the calculation is different to the rest of the network.
(Same as if you got any coin with PoS and changed just your code to give you 100000% interest, it wouldn't work as you are the only one running that code)

However, once the network switches to version 1.5.0.0 any PoS blocks generated after block 260,000 will not confirm.

What does this mean?

We may have to issue a blockchain of the current chain to users not synced and possibly have to induce another hardfork.

When will we know?

Once Windows and Mac wallets are launched and version 1.5.0.0 is the majority wallet and general consensus on the network.

Well you all know what to do to make the message go away Cheesy
sounds you have the situation controled...

btw, bittrex doesnt undestand the concept of long term investment and here we've got it back

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on July 31st unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.

lol

Almost 1btc on bittrex.

Now lets open more ticket on cryptsy. Maybe one day they will give support.

what if we write everybody the same?

For example, the needed steps to move to the right chain.

It could be like this?
Quote
Hello,

I have to inform you that you are in the wrong blockchain. Please move to the right one.

Follow steps:

1) Delete TES blockchain
2)Download [link]
3) Open wallet again

Not sure if those are the right steps. Also feel free to change the introduction, but let's write all the same
