I hope that you will support also Kilometre Cheesy
8822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: decentralized Bitcoin are highly centralized to mtgox!11 on: May 01, 2011, 03:33:52 AM
This is the stupiest thing that you could do.
8823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MTGox vs mysterious Russia on: May 01, 2011, 03:16:44 AM
@Mt.Gox
I think that you should put a temporary simple page with a link to your twitter and this message you have made here.
8824  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: F-Secure alerted on Bitcoin.exe (0.3.21): "harmful" on: April 29, 2011, 09:40:05 AM
Fortunately Jeff has done some good work on DNS based discovery, it's just not quite ready to replace IRC yet.
Can you give me a link to some documentations? How does this way to find peers works?
8825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should drugs be listed at bitcoin.it? on: April 29, 2011, 07:24:34 AM
I think drugs and gambling are very important things to Bitcoin economy. We should support it but I don't think we have to do it officially.
+1

It's ok until this rule remains true:
Quote
If there are people exchanging good and services voluntarily, and not harming anyone in the process. Why can't you just leave them alone? Seriously.
8826  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Website and software translations on: April 29, 2011, 06:34:51 AM
Can you add also a folder for the english language?
We need to be sure that we always have the latest version of the language file, with all strings:
example: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/master/locale/en

The other idea is to put the website/software and everything else here: http://crowdin.net
8827  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Bitcoin Translation Room on: April 28, 2011, 08:42:01 PM
How can we easly update the translation with the lastest version?
Can you add a service like http://crowdin.net ?
The translation tree is outdated.
8828  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: April 28, 2011, 01:30:23 PM
benvenuto! Grin
8829  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: bitcoin.org pool? on: April 27, 2011, 12:50:28 PM
It will be interesting to use donations to sponsor Bitcoin on Google Adwords Grin
But there also other possibilities, like paying freelances to add features to Bitcoin ...
8830  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitDrop (or ShadyDeliveryNetwork), a non-robotic courier system on: April 26, 2011, 10:13:51 PM
Yes! You have understood perfectly Grin
8831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitDrop (or ShadyDeliveryNetwork), a non-robotic courier system on: April 26, 2011, 03:19:09 PM
Great! Anyway this should be an "option".
So it will be possible to chose the level of security, and also "drone" should have the possibility to chose to be a tor-like drone or not.

Example: I'm a drone, but today I just want to take flowers/pizza/cake/... things Smiley

Sorry for my bad english, I hope that you understood my idea ...
8832  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [POLL 1/3] Bitcoin: URI refactor? Low-level vs high-level on: April 21, 2011, 05:56:10 PM
What do you think about these example? Cheesy

bitcoin:address?type=low&amount=1
bitcoin:address?type=high&amount=x1

Simple: it's possible to put the type of URI.
It can also be chose to use "low" by "default".
If nothing is specified, then it's low Smiley

So everyone is happy.
This will help also to understand which one will be used more on next months/years.
8833  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [PHP] BitLuck Lottery Script - Released under LGPLv3.0 on: April 21, 2011, 02:07:29 PM
I added some modifications Smiley

https://www.wuala.com/Slyck/bitcoin/lottery_V0.1_mod_by_Joozero.7z/?key=G0vvFcXPtnDz

I'm not an expert php developer, neither sql ... so I hope that you can take it as a simple idea.
If you like it, I'm sure that you will  make a better one Wink

I did it to avoid the point 5.
( 5. Setup cron, or a similar service to run give_prize.php at the time you wish the prize to be drawn. )

Now it auto-restart simple with the help of users Grin ( they just have to visit the page )

Please, can you give a look?

8834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please help test: Bitcoin version 0.3.21 release candidate on: April 21, 2011, 06:50:43 AM
yes, it's bad.
Because the exchange value of Bitcoin ( from USD ) can go very high.
So even 0.01 bitcoin can be a valuable amount of cash.

How can I add the updated translation to the next client release?
8835  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - a new European exchange on: April 20, 2011, 03:25:14 PM
I think that you should incentive Bitcoin Smiley
8836  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [PHP] BitLuck Lottery Script - Released under LGPLv3.0 on: April 20, 2011, 11:52:24 AM
I'm testing it.

Added line 186 on index.php:
'COST' => $ticket_cost
Now there is the dynamic cost to the waiting.html
Smiley

XAMPP 1.7.4 for Windows ( windows 7 x64 )

It seems that there is a bug. ( I'll check it later ... )
I counted 20 times just one entry ( so it collected 20 entries even if I sent only one time a single bitcoin )

EDIT:
Ok, It's working perfectly, my mistake Tongue

Thank you for sharing this, it's really useful! Cheesy

8837  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Italiani! on: April 19, 2011, 06:37:19 AM

8838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Odd pattern in BitcoinMonitor on: April 16, 2011, 08:17:41 PM
That's what a CAPTCHA is and they do not work for anything that monetizes reasonably well. There are lots of people in the third world whose time is so cheap it's essentially free. You have to exploit the scarcity of something that is not human time - like phone numbers.
Is there a way to know if a Google account has a confirmed phone number?
You ( and Google ) could add something like this Smiley
8839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Odd pattern in BitcoinMonitor on: April 14, 2011, 01:02:00 PM
What is wrong with some people? Seriously... someone with the technical skills to automate this can't think of something more worthwhile to do than to steal pennies?
Destroying is easier than creating Wink
8840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Backup wallet with Wuala on: April 14, 2011, 09:58:30 AM
where is the encryption?
Wuala crypt files locally and then upload them to their server.
http://www.wuala.com/en/learn/features/t/2

If you lose your password, you will lose everything. ( on Wuala, of course Wink )
