And this is about Twitter: Search widget: ( I suggest this one ) <script src=" http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js"></script> <script> new TWTR.Widget({ version: 2, type: 'search', search: ' bitcoin', interval: 6000, title: 'Say no to central banking – use Bitcoin, the revolutionary P2P currency!', subject: 'Bitcoin', width: 250, height: 300, theme: { shell: { background: '#8ec1da', color: '#ffffff' }, tweets: { background: '#ffffff', color: '#444444', links: '#1985b5' } }, features: { scrollbar: false, loop: true, live: true, hashtags: true, timestamp: true, avatars: true, toptweets: true, behavior: 'default' } }).render().start(); </script> Or profile widget: <script src=" http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js"></script> <script> new TWTR.Widget({ version: 2, type: 'profile', rpp: 4, interval: 6000, width: 250, height: 300, theme: { shell: { background: '#333333', color: '#ffffff' }, tweets: { background: '#000000', color: '#ffffff', links: '#4aed05' } }, features: { scrollbar: false, loop: false, live: false, hashtags: true, timestamp: true, avatars: false, behavior: 'all' } }).render().setUser(' profile_name').start(); </script> Everything come from here:http://twitter.com/goodies/widgets

1) You can also add this to the homepage: <iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?id=362816109006&width=292&connections=10&stream=false&header=false&height=255" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:292px; height:255px;" allowTransparency="true"></iframe> ( you can test it on a simple html page ) 2) Or this alternative: <fb:like-box profile_id="362816109006" width="292" connections="10" stream="false" header="false"></fb:like-box> But you will need also to add this after the head of page: <div id="fb-root"></div> <script> window.fbAsyncInit = function() { FB.init({appId: 'your app id', status: true, cookie: true, xfbml: true}); }; (function() { var e = document.createElement('script'); e.async = true; e.src = document.location.protocol + '//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js'; document.getElementById('fb-root').appendChild(e); }()); </script> Everything come from here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-boxEDIT: Now it has the right id

your idea reminds me flattr.com It will be very interesting if you make it simple / easy and fast as flattr. Just a "click", and the bitcoin client will share a small amount of bcoins

Thank you very much!
Beautiful I have just sent you 5 bitcoins to test it EDIT: Anyway, this is a good service that anyone could have local installed. I could be a bitcoin plug-in or a like.
Will you share the source code of your service?

Can the admin open something like an official group/page on social networks like facebook? ( example: http://www.kickasstorrents.com , look at the facebook tab at the right ) It will be useful also a twitter account. ( and a twitter widget of course! ) I know that many of you probably don't like social networks, but this isn't the point. I think that everything that can be useful to connect this project with people as many as possible ... is a GOOD idea

I lost 40 bitcoins, so it works perfectly

Ok, it works. But I can't understand how you can handle it if you have to to it manually. Is it a good idea to use bitcoin cents as a sign?

I think that probably they won't be accepted by the majority of the network, that they have a different database/hash ... is it right?
I have a question. I saw that everyone need to get blocks before starting to get coins. Does it mean that these blocks are the same for everyone? Is there a database with all of them? So ... can I share this database with someone else to make him able to generate coins after few seconds? I'm not sure if I have understood correctly how everything works If I'm right ... can we share an always updated database of blocks somewhere on the official website?

Ok, I'll translate FAQ also for sure

Italian homepage removed by sirius-m, sorry :P

Can I help to translate the official homepage ( and main others ) into italian language? Is there a way to make it easy for many other random people that want to do the same?

So eh, what do you mean "merging Bitcoin with other p2p projects"? Like Bitcoin+Bittorrent?! Yes, it's a possibility. Bitcoin is a software that usually need to stay open and running all the time to generate coins. So I thought that there are other software that need the same, P2P clients. There are also other possibilities, like chat clients ( scripted mirc ) and many more. So I thought that it should be a good idea to make it easy to integrate it with some of them. Develop it like a lib it's a really good idea, and I hope that main devs will think about it. "build the official-p2p-currency" for what? Warez4Bitcoinz? This isn't the object of discussion. You shouldn't care about what THEY ( p2p devs ) are going to do with bitcoins. Bitcoin is an object, like a car and an usual p2p client. You can do good and bad things with them ( bitcoin/p2p/car/knife/... )
