Non sembra affatto un caso, è probabile che chi ha fatto il furto non sia proprio un hacker qualsiasi, ma che abbia invece un ottima conoscenza di come funzioni Bitcoin.
Forse questo potrebbe far pensare che non sia per forza un attacco avvenuto dall'interno.

Però il sito potrebbe essere preparato e presentato proprio per insegnare all'utente cos'è Bitcoin.

Penso che si potrebbe pure scrivere sul sito stesso che il sistema è inventato "apposta" per diffondere l'esistenza di Bitcoin nel modo più virulare possibile, ma che appunto Bitcoin è un'altra cosa.
Cosi almeno se qualcuno non approvasse questo metodo, comunque capirebbe che si tratta di un azione singolare e personale dello sviluppatore del sito/servizio, e non parte del progetto Bitcoin.

Sarebbero ancora gli utenti se decidere poi di partecipare al "gioco" o meno.
Secondo poi la logica su cui gira, potrebbero partecipare anche solo per vedere alzare il loro punteggio ... non non essendo in alcun modo interessati al progetto Bitcoin ( contribuirebbero però comunque allo spam e alla difussione )

It must be on a domain that isn't com/org/biz/us/...
People will "spam" on everthing they want. If they'll use bill than it isn't your ( site owner ) business.
It will work on every places on the earth

QR codes only are a bad idea. They aren't easy to write by hand and they can only be used by nerds.

No one is forced to write the website on the bill, the website also wont say to do it.
But ... it obvious that it's better to write it on bills to be better sure that the next one will go on it

Per il resto, cosi com'è pensato, può andare bene per qualsiasi banconota ... dovrebbe bastare veramente poco o nulla per renderlo compatibile con ogni banconota del mondo ( basta che abbiano un codice univoco tutte quante, e credo sia cosi ... )

Quello che ho pensato io però ha una però qualcosa in più


Praticamente dovrebbe spingere le persone a scrivere sulle banconote qualcosa tipo:
- Bitcoin
- Bitcoin.org
- Bitcoin - Vires in Numeris
- ...

Oppure, proprio il sito del servizio, tipo:
- TrackBitcoin.org ( tanto per dire )

Gli utenti inserendo per primi il codice di una banconota sul servizio, otterrebbero un bonus di punti.
Ogni successivo utente che andrà ad inserire tale codice di tale banconota, andrà ad alzare il punteggio di chi per primo l'ha inserita.
In questo modo, i primi che inseriscono le banconote hanno punteggi più alti ... sono i "migliori" ( a tutti al mondo piace vincere )

Questo farebbe si che se qualcuno vuole vincere su questo "gioco", deve aggiungere quante più banconote possibili ( codici di queste banconote ) sul sito, e andrà anche a mettere il nome del sito proprio sulla banconota. ( per essere sicuro che qualcun'altro dopo di lui, trovandola, vada sul sito ... la reinserisca e gli alzi il punteggio )

Inserire banconote già inserite potrebbe dare un ulteriore punteggio, ma ovviamente più basso rispetto a chi per primo ha messo tale codice.
Naturalmente non si potrebbe inserire più di una volta la stessa banconota all'interno dello stesso account.


Con questo schema, da un alto avremo gli utenti ... che ogni volta che trovano una banconota "pulita", subito andranno ad aggiungere il codice sul sito, e poi scriveranno anche immediatamente lo spam sopra la stessa. ( pronta per essere spesa e passata a qualcun'altro )


Questo sistema è di una virulenza assoluta


Per renderlo ancora più ghiotto, si potrebbe pensare di aggiungere banner e quant'altro sopra al sito.
Condividere poi i guadagni con gli utenti dandogli proprio dei Bitcoin.
Ad esempio l'utente che per primo ha inserito la banconota, appena qualcun'altro andrà ad inserirla una seconda volta ( e quindi sarà partita la catena di scambi ) otterà 0.01 Bitcoin. ( valore di esempio )
I successivi che troveranno una banconota con lo spam sopra ( e quindi già presente sul database del sito ), e andranno ad inserirla ... otterranno invece 0.001 Bitcoin.
Possono servire alcune regole di tempo per evitare che ci sia qualcuno che tenti di barare, ma non credo che siano troppo difficili da trovare.


Naturalmente sul sito dovrebbero essere presenti quante più informazioni su cosa sia e come funzioni Bitcoin, perchè sarebbe poi questo in realtà l'intento ... diffondere la conoscenza di Bitcoin.

If not, the solution is "giving the reward" only if someone else will enter the same value on next days ( or after 10 hours / 24 hours /  ... )

If someone enter a bill-number already on the database, the first player that has entered the bill-number will get 0.01 Bitcoin ( just an example ) and X points.
During the next hours he ( the first player ) wont get anymore 0.01 Bitcoin, but he will still get the X points ( every 5 hours  ?)
All others that enter the bill-number ( that it is already on the database of the server ) will get 0.001 Bitcoin and Y points. ( this wont work for 5 hours )

If someone will get K points ( that is the total of all Ys plus Xs points) after a while, then he will get 0.1 Bitcoins. ( just another example )


The main difficulty is to find the good math between time and rewards to first and next players to avoid cheaters.

If someone makes this service by following the main rule, it will be the biggest spamming system that ever existed

It works like a game.
Everyone on earth wants to win, and if it has a "score", then it will works even if it wont give any Bitcoins to players.
( anyway, some rules to give Bitcoins can be found ... )

Plati.ru is one of the biggest market o cd-key and many other things.
Game players usually have good GPUs, so they will be happy to use them to make Bitcoins for their games.

Also it isn't easy accessible to people outside Russia, and CC from other countries don't work very well.

This is also good, but my main idea was about finding a way to push people ( everyone ) to put a Bitcoin advertise on all bills that come on their hands. So that other people will find them, and then they'll start also the "game" on other clean bills.

Your idea just push people to find bills already advertised.
I mean that it isn't viral.
They'll found the bill, get the Bitcoins ... and they will not have any reasons to add the bitcoin-adv on clean bills.

Anyway, I think that your idea can be merged with mine in some ways
