OSX version is working on my my end

Another broke gutter trash FUDster. Look at his post history... It's nothing but jumping from thread to thread downtalking crypto. This is the main reason why I setup www.cloaktalk.org. honestly bitcointalk is one of the trashiest communities I think I've ever experienced. Reminds me of the old AOL chatroom days.

Which OSX version are you running? The new wallet crashed a few times on me during resync but after a few reopens it worked. I've noticed the issue is common when resyncing mac wallets regardless of the coin.

Another reason why Bitcointalk is a toxic environment for altcoin growth. People are always bashing on other coins like this is a hockey match.. Reminds be a lot of PS v Xbox v PC fanboy rivalries.

Yup. If you know which font the cloak logo uses I can change it. Still waiting on that info.

Bottom line is the devs don't work for you or anyone else for that matter. They work for free and on donations. There was no pre-mine or shady launch practices. If you were employing them to build and work on a coin for you then you can post criticism of missed or delayed dates. But that isn't the case we are all just investors in a promising new currency with a solid roadmap.

One thing you should know if you have ever engineered software is that "dates" are always just an estimate. Things come up at the last minute that might of been overlooked that affect the estimate release of a feature. Other times you find things that could improve the overall structure/performance of the codebase, which then require additional resources to implement. Another thing you should know is that putting pressure on a software engineer only delays the progress even more. Once you are jacked in and have a good flow going the last thing you are thinking of is a post on a forum about FUD or a delayed date. Your main focus is the logic.

I'd advise everyone to take a deep breathe and go rub one out. Go to the beach and have a couple drinks. Do something other than worry about your Cloak investment or the release of a feature. If the feature is delayed for any reason its because there is still work that needs to be done and you should take that as confidence in the development team. In my experience looking at a lot of the developers here like Darkcoin for example - they build up hype, release a feature without proper testing and it completely kills the confidence in the platform. If the dev team is taking their time to fully test a product before launching it that is not only good for the product but also good for your investment as you can expect a lot better ROI.


If you want a perfect example of what rushed software products look like just have a look at Microsoft. They set the benchmark for meeting the "release date."

I think we should still keep a minimal presence here and direct everyone over to the new forums for the main cloak discussion. With 300+ pages its near impossible to help new investors find relevant information esp with all the fudsters drama on bitcointalk. I've created a bunch of categories on there if I'm missing any let me know and i'll add them.

I'll swap out the logo font as soon as I get the name of the official Cloak font. The discussion format is different from the normal 90s forum like bitcoin talk. It's alot more fluid takes a sec to get used to but its light years ahead of this format. Enjoy

I caught "BITCOINBITCH" whose real name is "Frank" in the middle of work getting yelled at by his boss. No doubt he was making a FUD post on his phone instead of doing his job.
