781  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - DisContinued/ important announcement on: May 17, 2012, 04:50:37 PM
Hmm, yeah, it's a bit hard to value the Icarus boards now that the new Lancelot boards are about to be released.

Also may I ask why you are selling them? Looking to replace them with BFL Singles?

I'm interested as well but the asking price seems a bit high.

Well, make me an offer.

There's nothing wrong with my 2 icarus boards. Compared the the BFL Singles, the break even time is just long. Of course, if I just let it mine for a year or 2, I will likely make my money back and it will keep "printing money". But I'm just kind of testing the water to see if I can get a good enough price for these right now.
782  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - DisContinued/ important announcement on: May 17, 2012, 06:07:44 AM
I have 2 icarus boards for sale. PM me if interested.

How much and are you willing to accept bitcoins?

I'm in the US. I was looking for 210 btc shipped to US, but I don't know what the demand is for this so I'm willing to negotiate.
783  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Mining Hardware + Services, Pfmarket Technologies on: May 17, 2012, 12:18:04 AM
No it isn't, I know the owner personally! Also, they use use cutting edge technology... hint hint

Now we just need a low post count user to have met Gladamas in person and seen the mining hardware and vouch for him.

786  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs - Bitforce Single and Mini Rig Box on: May 16, 2012, 10:02:48 PM
Semi off topic I wonder if there would be interest in a falling price auction for my Single.
Start the price at say 200 BTC and it falls 3,306 Satoshis every second (20 BTC per week).
Auction continues until someone bids.  First valid bid wins.

Interesting to see when it gets sold. Obviously a single cannot make 20 BTC a week. Let's see... with 850 mhash/s, you can make about 15 BTC a month. The current wait time for a single from BFL is about 2 months. So paying 120 BTC ($600) for a single in 2 months is equivalent to paying 150 BTC for a single that you can get immediately. So I think the optimal price for your auction will be 150 BTC (or waiting 2.5 weeks). If anyone is willing to pay more than that, they should just order a single from BFL right now. But then people are irrational...
787  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ Bonus PPS Pool - 108% ] - Private Beta OPEN on: May 16, 2012, 09:32:20 AM
Rejects around new blocks are the main reason why I'm getting around 3% rejects.
Here's what my miner just outputed:

As you can see, ABC reported a new block a lot earlier than your pool. And it seems like the pool just rejects these shares after the new block is found but the LP doesn't notify me of the new block until much later. So my miners wastes a lot of time mining on an old block which gets rejected.
788  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] broken 5970 - SOLD on: May 15, 2012, 05:33:58 AM
I have a 5970 that will no longer mine. I think it overheated, but I'm not sure. I just know that if I try to start a miner against it in my 4x 5970 machine, the whole machine locks up. I don't have time to figure out what's wrong with it. Is anyone interested in buying something like this? Maybe you need it for parts or you like to play around with it and try to get it to mine again.

I'm looking for 20 btc for it. I think I can sell if on ebay for more, but not sure. But I'd rather sell it to someone on this board who make have use for it. I'm open to offers since this card is worth very little to me right now.

Purchased along with a 6970, sent off the btc.

Confirmed received btc. Will ship out the 2 gpus asap. Thanks.

790  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Modular Python Bitcoin Miner - Official Thread on: May 14, 2012, 05:16:32 PM
i am running it on an Buffalo WRZ-HP-AG300H-EU, it uses around 40MB-Ram openwrt+miner
(i didn't get it running on my linksys wrt54gl because of to few diskspace)

installation on OpenWRT

Quote
opkg update
opkg install phyton
opkg install libncurses
opkg install libncursesw
opkg install libusb

rmmod ftdi_sio
python miner.py

bitstream was already installed, will try installing bitstream over openwrt later

I just installed OpenWRT (on a TP-Link MR3020)  and got the latest MPBM to run.
Here are a few other packages I needed:

Code:
opkg install pyusb
opkg install pyserial
opkg install kmod-usb-core
opkg install kmod-usb-serial
opkg install kmod-usb-serial-ftdi (for BFL singles)
opkg install kmod-usb-serial-pl2303 (for Icarus)

The miners will come up as /dev/ttyUSB#
Run 'ls /dev/ttyUSB*' and you will see them.
Mine are /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyUSB1, /dev/ttyUSB2, /dev/ttyUSB3
And this is what you put in the PORT field when you configure a worker in MPBM
791  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Two rev2 x6500 (SOLD) on: May 13, 2012, 03:00:29 PM
I decided to still sell these. Sold them to tgmarks for 205 btc.
He paid me 102.5 btc already and will pay me the rest when he receives the 2 x6500s.

I'm making pirateboxes for people on TP link MR3020s. They're cheap on buy.com

Thanks for the tip. I've got these 2 running off my ReadyNAS now. It took me a while to get every dependency installed so the MPBM can run. But now they are be running smoothly. So I guess I'm no longer looking into selling these.
793  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Two rev2 x6500 - 220 BTC on: May 07, 2012, 11:34:51 PM
Run MPBM on openWRT!

I guess I can do that. But I don't have a spare router. What's a cheap router that I can buy that can run MPBM?
794  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Two rev2 x6500 - 220 BTC on: May 04, 2012, 07:01:18 PM
I recently got 2 BFL singles and when I installed the drivers for them on my Mac, my x6500s stopped working. I looked into it and it seems like I can't easily get both the x6500 and the singles working together on my Mac. So I decided to just sell the x6500s.
795  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Two rev2 x6500 - 220 BTC on: May 04, 2012, 06:54:15 PM

796  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: X6500 Custom FPGA Miner on: May 04, 2012, 06:50:53 PM
Think I just snapped up the last X6500 in this batch. It wouldn't let me buy two, and then once I checked out it wouldn't let me buy another single.

I have 2 used ones for sale if anyone is interested: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=79602.0
797  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Two rev2 x6500 (SOLD) on: May 04, 2012, 06:50:00 PM
I have 2 dual fpga rev2 x6500s for sale. I've reattached the heatsinks with the Artic Alumina Thermal Adhesives to improve the heat dissipation. And I've been mining with them using the 400MHz bitstream without any problems.

I've also attached the 2 units together with these: http://cablesaurus.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=14&product_id=60
But you can separate them if you want. I will include the original standoffs.

Will sell both + the standoffs + the 2 power adapters that I got separately for 220 btc shipped to US.

EDIT: Previous sale https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=29534.0

I finally got my BFL singles. I can't quite get them mining.

Does a solid red light mean it's working properly or not?

Does anyone have success running these on a mac? Do you run cgminer or MPBM or something else?
Do they show up as /dev/tty.usbserial?
799  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 30, 2012, 10:09:14 PM
I think this quote says it all:

It's up to you, really, but your reaction and lame attempts to justify your act of theft have done way more to destroy your reputation than the scammer tag ever did.

I've always found bulanula's posts to be childish. I'm guessing he's still a teenager and have not yet learned what's morally right from wrong. Maybe he will learn and maybe he will return the coins. But I know that I will never ever deal with him. So even if he returns the coins and loses the scammer tag, please don't delete this thread so others can see how ridiculous he is.
