7941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ways to store your private keys for offline wallets on: October 12, 2014, 09:22:45 AM
I have seen a thread (that I cannot find now) that had a slew of interesting ideas of how people were storing their private keys for offline wallets. From engraving into metal to tattoos.

Now that some time has passed and people have surly come up with other methods, I'd love to hear some of them. I am currently trying to find the best way(s) to store a few private keys of my own. I'd like to be cautious, because if the perfect storm happens, I don't want to lose all of my bitcoins. By this, I mean simply throwing it on a piece of paper and putting it in a safe deposit box, and then another in my home isn't going to cut it. What if the bank gets robbed and my home safe is stolen? Likely not to happen, I know, but I still want a better way to store them.

Any ideas? The more nerdy the better  Grin

Bitcoin Documentary - "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin"

Official Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S4dSXTnfms...

I just watched the "Official Trailer" and it is amazing, thank you for spreading the word about The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin.

Why would you comment on the significance of the "Official Trailer" when there are links in this thread to the full movie?

Here is the Youtube link to the full version:

Why NOT watch the whole documentary and comment on that?

I'm not sure but here in my country the video ( that I've posted the link) is not more available to see , can you check please?

  You can only use the signature code. No other text is allowed;

referal link ??

Read this please :

Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend.
Let's get straight to your questions.

just a question.
it is possible to put dice signature and referral href link together?
or if i put dice signature and referral href link together the signature campaign is not valid?

thanks
No. It's not possible at the moment. Our system automatically and regularly validates your signature to be the same as it was generated. So, basically, Don007 was right about it. If we'll ever change this part of functionality, we'll change rules and FAQ in the OP.

Hey ,

Can I ask you what is the  max spot number ( enrolled users) ? is it 50 or 100 ?

Cheers.

For this first month I think 50 will be a good start. May increase though.

Okay , thanks for the reply . I suggest  you to add this "term" in your  first post Wink .

Cheers.

What more do you want? BURST already has more built in features than any online banking out there.

this:

The Burst dev needs to convert Burst network into decentralized dropbox ASAP, when users would pay for distributed encrypted storing of their files with BURST coins. This is the only way for Burst to survive.

Have you looked to this : http://storj.io/  ??
Please people, the file storage thing is purely BAD NEWS. All it'll do is make big data centers more money. Right now data centers don't have gpu's to plot, or on their servers with lots of hdd's good cpu's. This prevents them from wrecking burst. Now most people at home have a few TB's and a GPU or at least a good CPU.

Please, the file storage thing will KILL burst. Leave that to storj, and if its that critical to you, well just leave and buy lots of storj.

Please the file storage will not kill the burst , don't worry !
I've only told you  that there is a simple service , a decentralized storage ( called storj) . If burst will come like storj (  without lose the PoC algorithm)  I think  will attract more users and users  Wink.

I need about 2 BTC because i want to start my own crypto coin, and need the money to pay off coders and designers, and i dont have money atm to pay them, and i can pay back at the end of the month when i get my pay check. i will pay %50 extra, so i pay u back 3 BTC. I plan to call the coin LeakCoin and i want to start up a mining pool. If you want any other info, i can provide it, just ask Smiley

7956  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 11, 2014, 05:37:01 PM
BitDice.me (Thread)
Minimum posts: You must post at least 20 posts every two weeks.
Miscellaneous: All spots are full as per the OP and you are holding funds in escrow so I don't think PNYC is appropriate  as you will pay from escrow if they don't. They retroactively changed the min number of posts after many people signed up.

I think he has already added them , it is under Coinpiler in the "Payment not yet confirmed" section .
