Why the price ( or it is better to tell : value) of burstcoin doesn't raise?  Any idea ....
8222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: October 02, 2014, 07:46:16 PM

also...

--ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PEOPLE IN THE SHAREHOLDERS GROUP FOR HARDINVEST, and MINERS ON BURSTPOOL.DDNS.NET--

We have purchased 10TB of hard drive space with the shareholder money for use on the pool. The drives will be plotted to the shareholder address and used to mine on the pool.

After another month of the hardinvest money going to more hardware, it will be split into .3% for new hardware, and .2% for direct payouts to the shareholders, as a little bit more of an incentive!!

Thank you for investing with us, and let's make some money!!

 Grin Cool Wink

Lawl.  10 TB is NOTHING in this coin these days, thanks to the advent of GPU plotting, the equivalent of ASICs for this coin.

I am glad I'm out of it, and my 10,931 BURST coins are waiting for a price rise to be sold, and I predicted that this coin will never get over 500 satoshis again.  So far, I have been correct for several weeks.

And WOW, a WHOLE ZERO POINT TWO PERCENT bonus to the miners? Please, whatever you do, don't strain yourself paying money to those who mined the coins for you!!!

omagad !

he is back again ! LOOOOL!

Another Fud .. oh my GOD ! If you don't like this altcoin you can always leave !
8224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | New version 1.1.3 on: October 02, 2014, 05:44:27 PM
Could someone please point me to optimal mining solution for dedicated servers? What miner should I use? Do I have to run stand alone wallet or may I link to my local wallet?

It's pretty much just a matter of how much HDD space you have.  20TB + I'd say you can solo and do okay right now, any less than that and you're better off in a pool.  Use the dev's wallet.  Uray has a web based one right now but he's unsure of it's security.

actually I am quite confidence that SSL / HTTPS is corectly configured and tested
I've been test with most of the SSL and website security check, everything is great if not good,
but that is just for HTTPS test, i don't know if there will be any flaw in wallet codes

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=burstcoin.io

https://i.imgur.com/fgPP0E3.png

if you are confident enough just use https://burstcoin.io
before we have dedicated thin client for burst

I think the best choice for the security is the local wallet Wink  in this case .
8225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashPrime.Com on: October 02, 2014, 05:25:27 PM
Disabled AdBlock for Blockchain.info and Hasprime is there, I've seen publicity around for this website and I assumed it was a ponzi scam, well, is it legit?

I think it isn't legit ... it is an on obvious  *little* ponzi Roll Eyes
8226  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashPrime.Com on: October 02, 2014, 05:07:59 PM
Nahh, when I logged into my blockchain account they show links to partners (like gyft etc). This was a blockchain partner site.... I do not think blockchain know what it is but I would like to know the story...

It's very strange .. but I think they are not *reponsable* ... it is only an ads.
8227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARCHcoin [ARCH] – The Profit Network on: October 02, 2014, 04:46:33 PM
I have decided to not sell at 12k. Even if it's 100% profits shortterm, I think that this coin has significant longterm potential, I am not in hurry anyway.

Good decision Wink  mate , don't dump it !

8230  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC with PP on: October 02, 2014, 01:51:12 PM
I have done the required reading and am well aware that I may get flamed for this, but here goes.

I am looking to buy BTC with my Paypal account (verified business account).  I am willing to use escrow services and will provide all KYC documentation required.

Please feel free to contact me if you want to have a chat about this.  PM me and I will send you my contact details.  I am available by email, skype, whatsapp and of course, pm.

Many thanks

Yo29787

Do you have any other method of payment , paypal is not *secure* ( because you can do chargeback) .

Money sent through PayPal and any other money transfer service that accepts credit cards can be easily reversed by the sender, even after several weeks. Therefore, you should only accept PayPal in trades with people you trust very highly.

This is why newbies are not likely to sell their PayPal USD for bitcoins successfully.

Some other services that are not totally safe:
- Bank transfers (ACH, etc.) except wire transfers
- Most gift cards.
- Moneypak
- AlertPay
- Paysafecards
- Dwolla
- Western Union (they reportedly will sue the recipient to recover money in some cases)

The problem is not the bitcoin protocol , the problem are the producers of the asic hardware ( they remove the *decentralization* .... ).

PS: this is my opinion
8234  Economy / Services / Re: I'll pay you to print Bitcoin posters and tape/paste them in public places. on: October 02, 2014, 08:58:41 AM
Looking for people to help with a postering campaign that will be focusing on large cities. Location does not matter, population does!

Your job is to securely adhere Bitcoin-themed posters to poles and other cool spots, and send me pictures of your work. You will be compensated for the cost of printing the posters, and for your time spent affixing them in fun, conspicuous locations.

Bonus points for interesting locations and places that uniquely identify your location (Eiffel Tower in background, etc).

Pictures of the design can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756955.msg8618397#msg8618397

I'm interested for do this work  , if you can give us more informations ?  Please .
8235  Economy / Services / Re: Pocket Dice Signature Campaign on: October 02, 2014, 08:55:02 AM
From 50 to 25 posts? That seriously sucks, make it atleast 35 or so, for this ammount there are monthly campaigns that pay 0.1 to sr and up for 50 posts per month and you ask for 100 posts per month for 0.1 BTC...

Yes , the other sig. campaigns pay  .10 btc for only 50 posts ( monthly) But pocket dice pay weekly Wink . This is a good choice , what  do you think guys about this ?
8236  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy and Hold Bitcoin untill next halving time on: October 02, 2014, 08:35:05 AM
Just as a reminder for every bitcoin holder.

Gresham's Law: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gresham's_law

"Bad money drives out good"

"When a government overvalues one type of money and undervalues another"

The bad drives out the good when:
* People can not easily tell which is good
or
* The government forces people to use the bad one

Exactly.

Governments forces us to use fiat money. The best way, and in my opinion, the only way to replace fiat money is to spend our bitcoins and to produce goods and services with them. Not holding them.

If all the people hold their bitcoins, bitcoin will never win this "battle" against fiat money despite of their superior characteristics

Buf if you cannot mining btc directly you must ( obligated ) buy btc with the FIAT money  Grin .
8237  Local / Alt-Currencies (Italiano) / Re: [PAG] Alt-Currencies FreeIPO & Giveaway on: October 02, 2014, 07:57:32 AM

8239  Other / New forum software / Re: Email Address to Personal Message? on: October 02, 2014, 07:23:53 AM
I chat with scammers on a daily basis.  A lot of them ask me for my email address, which I don't want to give out.

It would be GREAT if I could give out an email address of <myusername>@<newforum.com> and such messages would be sent to my personal message inbox.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, I think it's a good idea ... so for example   : vod@bitcointalk.org   or redsn0w@bitcointalk.org ; it's pretty nice if any users can have an email and the email is sent  directly in the personal inbox ( only for receive the email ).
