You could try running Kopiemtu just to see if it changes things. If it still runs like crap it's hardware related, otherwise you'll probably want to keep looking at your Windows settings, drivers etc.

Well, that could be great idea. I'll try it out later and let you know. Thanks!!!

EDIT: One more question, as I use this computer for many different purposes, for example mining new coins (algos) with cpu, windows is pretty much great for me. Copiemtu would make it heavier. I'll try it, but then again, will my 750ti-s work well under, for example, Ubuntu 14.04 x64, launched from VMware?

There seems to be a lot of rejects for Doom on Suprnova. Usually around 85% yays. Anyone else getting that?

You won't be able to access your 750ti cards by simply launching a guest OS from VMWare, it doesn't work like this, your regular Player/Workstation setup will get you a virtual graphics card instead of direct access to your actual gpu. Getting access to graphic cards in a guest OS is not easy, your motherboard+cpu would have to properly support VT-d/IOMMU and you'll have to use Xen or VMware esxi or whatever it's called.. that's a whole new level, I mean if you think "Copiemtu would make it heavier" for you, then you'll have a lot more problems trying to set up mining in a guest OS.

don't know if it is cryptonight algo or what(appeared just recently after mining monero), but after some time(usually at night) my pc freeze(the screen is the one like when the computer is locked) and i can't moves mouse or use keyboard and i'm forced to reset or close the psu

paging mem was very low only 1g, maybe is that the problem, i rised to 2gb
May-be you have some power saving option turned on...

i checked that is off(never/never), hyber.sys also is off, was working good before monero mining, or maybe just a virus(checked here and seems clean) i dunno...

sounds like what i got and maybe still have idk

I am stuck with ccminer compilation @linux (linux mint actually). Please help me.

- installed 340.24 driver from xedgers repo
- installed CUDA toolkit 6.0 from nvidia
- downloaded current ccminer source from github (once cbuchner1, once djm34)
- autoconfig.sh
- configure --with-cuda=/usr/local/cuda-6.0
- make -j8
- export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/cuda-6.0/lib64
- export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/cuda-6.0/bin
- ccminer -a x11 -benchmark with or without exiting X

"Unable to query CUDA driver version! Is an nVidia driver installed?"
:-(

/dev/nvidia* exists

any ideas what I did wrong ?

Speaking of Christian, he hasn't posted since July 12th.

Anybody heard from him in any way?

Just hoping everything is OK with him.

note quite okay, been sick for 2 weeks, but based on what I know it's not fatal. At least I've got that going for me. :-)
i missed your post. Get better Christian, I still owe you some more beers.   Grin Really get well soon.

Is there a thread for the Nvidia Cryptonite miner for Windows?
If not, where is it currently downloaded from?

Nope, but until then you can run a secondary bat file that closes ccminer periodically:

echo off
title control
:start
timeout -t 30
taskkill -t -f /im ccminer.exe
cls
goto start

I'll ask ocminer to open up a port with static difficulty as the problem comes from ccminer not being a big fan of vardiff.

What's wrong with vardiff and ccminer?

Not saying there isn't a problem but I've never seen any issues.

To my understanding ccminer calculates hashes massively in parallel which means if vardiff switches, ccminer still going to submit a chain of hashes which have lower difficulty.
I can't see any other explonation why we have massive chains of rejecteds always only after vardiff changes. I might be completely wrong.

Edit:
djm34's explonation:
What I think is that it solve several share within a cycle and don't report them all (or they somehow get overwritten) I need to investigate that in detail (I am pretty sure the problem also exist in keccak)
