I could dump them now and break even but I won't. The reason I payed so much money was because of the name TIPS, thats all. I don't like the E logo at all as it doesn't mean tip. I used to work in advertising as an art director and there is an advertising saying for the people that came up with creative ideas. Kill your baby. Im sure whoever came up with the E logo and orange colour scheme loves it. loves it like there own baby. Your baby is ugly, trust me. believe it, don't let your ego get in the way and kill the baby. Now work on the USP "Tip". It should be promoted to bar, hotel staff, servers, people that accept tips. An upside-down fedora hat is a clever visual for a logo. it says tip without having to read tip. FAST COMMUNICATION is what its all about. If you can change the name to just tip coin then that would make it much easier to promote too. Ill leave the technical side of the coin to the developers but when it comes to design and promotion I'm not going to stand aside and let a bunch of computer geeks destroy a great brand. Looks like only 65+MH/s of solo mining now  you? No lol it isn't me, I have one 280x running, along with two lots of windows azure so 900Kh/s. I did rent a few rigs before block halving, but back to normal now. I have been speaking to Templar and it seems we are at a loss as to who is solo mining this. Whoever they are they are messing with the difficulty though - we expected diff of 3.4 remember, and its now shot up to over 14 with blocks taking 11 mins or so to solve. He wants to get control over coin. 65 is very hight and without Kimoto´s... Pools are empty but diff is hight. Tis true! We need KGW asap - dont implement in a high block like 22000, we need it to appear around 20500! lol I set the change excatly to that number (20500). The only problem is that I haven't been able to contact my friend that compiles windows wallet. Apologies for my noobness but I need someone to compile it for me cause I keep trying but haven't been able to do it by myself. We can't upgrade to kimotos without windows wallet.  What about Stan2bricks? |

Catanonia crazy right  Yup, glad left my miner running last night, was going to switch it off. Nice to see the pools working better now with good blocks being found within reasonable times. Taken a while for the new algo to kick in properly, but seems to be stabalizing enough to make up for the last weeks worth on grinding on the GPU's  Sorry I made you guys go through that  I should have made it kick in sooner, but I thought we'd get to 51000 by the 6th :/ By the way I wrote a small guide on how to setup your own mixing nodes, you'll need some coins to start the mixer with, two geographically separate servers (as in, located in separate areas) and plenty of time to spend on setting it up Guide is at http://pastebin.com/GkJeFjwW it's a draft but it should give you an idea of what you'll need. Edit: Also I should probably mention that during this avalanche of altcoins the mixing node scripts used by TIPS will be staying closed source, and will only be shared with people after they've signed an NDA with us. Hi, I have few concerns.
1. Why on main page mining pools not listed? how new user should find where to mine TIPS?
2. Please - no scrypt-jane. It will disconnect multipools (with proper difficulty algo they don't make anything bad) - so it will lower Net hash rate, insted of changing pool in cgminer - miners should run another file - it will decrease network rate also. Lower Net Hashrate - lower price.
We have to promote it, first step - add mining pool list on man page - more people will know where to mine, second - lets add it to coinwarz, more people will know about this coin.
