Im holding too. Thing is really it should be sitting around 4x this price! yes it should be. i've kinda been fighting with someone on the site, they keep trying to drive the price down to around 70 to 75 sat range. and it's kinda weird, multiple bids at the same price ( 4 -7 ) at the same time and being filled instantly. someone is trying to push the price down, either to push it down far enough to purchase a crap load at a cheap price then dump it after it raises. or someone trying to keep us out of the market. personally i think it is the former option. Yeah I've noticed some fishy goings on on there too! Want a hand with the fight?   Careful, I really admire Noble, but I wouldn't try forcing the markets to be honest. I say let things take the course it needs to. Twas a joke. I dont play the market like that. I am holding NOBLE and know it will come out on top. |

This thread, actually this forum, has been kind of abandoned by Mastercoin team. There are aother official forum and blog. For buying and selling, please check the exchanges. Since there's no escrow here any more, even it's not abandoned, it's not safe to trade here. I've noticed that. Im using masterxchange. Surely they should be actively posting on THIS forum to keep crypto-currency newbies investing? It was HERE that I found out about it myself. |

confirmations started to flow, then they failed. again. this is ridiculous. I am in the middle of trying to move over a billion TIPS from a central wallet, my cursing, aggravation and other concerns are nothing compared to how my miners will feel.

This is a serious problem, and no coin should ever have symptoms like this. You are clueless (those are are complaining about my comments).

Check ebay for DPS-2000, DPS-2500, DPS-800 , DPS-1520 and Dell Z750P (poweredge 29something PSU). DPS-2500 is a real monster - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=4854652 but unfortunately comes without fans. Got it powering a few Antminer S1 units right now with jerryrigged fans on the side. As for connecting them - got a bunch of quality PCIE cables and butchered them on one end A multimeter is nice to have but I trusted the internet regarding the pinout and so far it has worked out fine. Check http://www.gekkoscience.com/products/server_supply_breakout_board.html and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=379677.0 for a nicer way of connecting it all. Oh and make sure you do the homework regarding all those model numbers, you want 12VDC, think some of those server PSU can do 51VDC as well and you probably do not want that. EDIT - about datacoin - I don't know if they are profitable now. I managed to find 2 blocks soloing and about 15 datacoins mining with http://dtc.xpool.xram.co . I find the idea kinda neat , seems to serve more purpose than most of the coins here, somewhat like namecoin I guess. So I think of it as a long term bet and I only have an i5 and some phenom 9xx mining it, not much of a running cost there, electricity-wise. Pm'd. |

This is an epic fail. These fucking developers have totally farmed this 100%. I have commented issues now on github, reddit, here, etc. the network is bust. The code is fucked. Every single pool is stalled. At least I've shut down my pool stratum layer, but I can't event send any coin out, nothing confirms. Fuck. Well. Speaking of fuck, my fuck coin pool is open. Fuck tips, mine on fc.notnull.org for now, why not. Damn I'm pissed. Notnull has payed out over 60 billion fuckin tips coins. Fuck. Did I mention this is an epic fucking fail? I don't think it is necessary for counterparty to fail for mastercoin to succeed, or vice versa.
Instead it would appear that each effort advances both.
Most of the world knows nothing of bitcoin. Most of the folks who do know bitcoin don't know or understand that it is more than just a wannabe currency. Colored coin, mastercoin, counterparty and whatever the future might bring, all advance our common agenda. There is way more opportunity than any one effort can address. There is much to do and too few hands doing it.
Mastercoin is awesome, holds great promise and as a decentralized exchange (among other things) is going to change the world. It makes little sense to spend any effort to attack those who are also working to do the same. I'd hope to beneficially participate in each of these efforts, and make good use of them all.
