901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN: WORLD FIRST COIN MIXING FEATURE] 0.56 HARD FORK UPDATE! [TIPS] FedoraCoin on: February 05, 2014, 09:41:36 PM
Have the multipools removed themselves from the global hash rate for TIPS ?

Been reading the last few pages and it is what I gather ?

No, the multipools only switch to tips for the low difficulty. They took 3 minutes to mine the 10 easy blocks. Now leaving the 10 hard blocks to us. This all ends in 348 blocks.

What will happen at 51000th block?

Fedora gets kimoto gravity well - diff algo that works like a charm for some cryptos already. Basically Multipools will not be able to pump diff and leave, like it is happening now.

Is it official, I i never saw that info!?

from the dev:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391192.msg4923077#msg4923077

- Changes difficulty algo from block 51000+ to use KGW (takes effect in about 2 days)
- Block reward will be halved at block 52000 (about 3 days from now!)

YOU NOW WHAT THIS MEAN TO THE PRICE?
I dont wanna think now on this, that i can be maybe rich in a few days.  Kiss

That'll only happen if you HOLD! Do not have weak hands - this coin has the potential to do very well.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOBL]*NOBLECOIN* - *23 MERCHANTS/CAUSES* *COINPAYMENTS* - *4 EXCHANGES* on: February 05, 2014, 09:39:23 PM
why all this talk about craptsy...

coinex seems to be much better and the dev over there is adding more servers and looking to add some more currencies to the exchange in about a week ( from what i have read in the chat box). craptsy sucks, point blank, also vicurex doesn't seem to bad. i guess the freashmarket just got hacked a little bit ago. and from what i have been reading some people are even wanting to do a protest ddos on craptsy for all the bs that they pull.

personally i like that fact that we are building a community as well as a consumer/user base, while staying independent from craptsy. and i really like the fact that we seem to be building a stable base/ foundation, for this currency before getting onto a big exchange ( which can only help our value and usability in the future).

but as i said before, i believe that if we get onto craptsy we will be treated like a back alley whore on st. patties day. and the only advantage that we will have is that this community will hold the majority of the currency, then again all we have to do is look at the value drop on coinmarket.io to see how well that is working. but i can tell you that it will be 10X worse on craptsy. why anyone would want to put us into that situation at this early stage is beyond me.

there are other exchanges, more popping up every day. if we were ( and we will NEED to) to get onto a bigger exchange i think that we should do some more homework and observe how the other exchanges operate and perform with other coins.

some of the points ( not all) that we should pay attention to is speed, reliability, and customer service. these seem to the the biggest issues that i have been observing while reading chat boxes damn near 24/7. yes it sucks. yes, we all know ( at this point) that we need to get onto a bigger exchange and gain more visibility. but lets not do something stupid in the interest of doing something fast.

we have already come much further that many others, and in a very short period of time. lets not undo what we have already built and undermine the potential of this currency.

Is there a Coinex.pw thread to add noblecoin? I personally like that exchange better as well.

I agree - prefer Coinex too.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 ADDED BOUNTIES 50M & TWO NEW EXCHANGES on: February 05, 2014, 09:27:34 PM
bunch of stupid guys dumping their coins ... and smart buyer taking this opportunity

Why shouldn't they dump, nothing is happening here compared to other coins.
Well, it's happening Smiley

Just none has seen anything, yet Wink

SOMEBODY is buying 400 million coinyes.

Wow, from what exchange?

NVM...seen it on CryptoRush. Smiley

If that 400 million order stands until it's completely filled, then something is going to happen somewhere.  I'm thinking a massive buy to have COYE listed on Cryptsy.  Just a theory I'm throwing out there...LOL

I dont doubt it... the same thing happened with Moon.

As far as I see it, it isn't just one buyer - that is the total amount of all buyers at 1 satoshi.

I do not know they had been confirmed ,I try some times but I can not cash out.

Have you tried using this wallet address - 7DqgcoPEUBCJd8oiPuLEqoqNUp2qKyBKFj

ahahahahaha

EDIT/ Only kidding. You have to update wallet address on the left hand side first before withdrawing. Then you can set a manual payout on the right.

908  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: February 05, 2014, 10:39:47 AM
Okay, so. We're officially opening sales for the Z750P boards at 6PM CST. The first batch will only have about 75 boards available, but when we have another stack about that size (in a few days) I'll update this again.

We're limiting it to ten boards per person this round, to make sure someone doesn't buy all of them.
Pricing is:
  1-5 units  -  $42.50 each
  6+ units  -  $40.00 each

We'll have some cables available, 18" 16AWG PCIe 6-pin with spades for mating to the boards' screw terminals. Cables are $3.50 apiece. I don't know how many we'll have, probably not a hundred total yet as we just got the parts in today to start generating them.

Shipping will probably be USPS Priority Medium Flat-Rate Box, unless otherwise specified and worked out with me while ordering.

Orders will be taken on a First-Come First-Serve basis; send me a PM AFTER 6PM CST with the desired number of boards and/or cables and I'll add you to the queue and work out payment details. We accept both PayPal and BTC, which the BTC price will be based off a random sampling of Coinbase's exchange rate taken sometime in the afternoon.

All order messages sent before 6PM CST according to the forum timestamp will be ignored.

Any chance of selling me only a few PCIe Cables?

EDIT/ or anyone know the best place to buy them in the UK?

day trading, unless u have big amounts and can manipulate, you will loose.

Best to hold and wait like I am. 1/4 billion and holding.

Second time you've said that in a few mins.  Roll Eyes

cool Smiley

Jealous of early believers ?  Unless you are one too ?

Nope, I've been holding TIPS for a while. And nope, no need to flaunt numbers.

Just hope you have strong hands. That could be $5000 in a few weeks  Tongue

Just bought this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141067600774?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Last one for anyone in the UK - bargain if you ask me. And no I'm not affiliated with the seller in any way.

Now where to get PCI cables...
916  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: February 04, 2014, 10:01:50 PM
where do you start to count the pins though? and where are the 12v ground - left or right?

Also looking at a DPS-1520AB.

Anyone have a pin out?

And best place to buy PCI connectors in the UK?

Thanks

THANK YOU!!

I'll buy it now!

Can it run 5v too - Or worth just using a decent make 500w psu for the board and other peripherals?

- It would be a good idea implement Kimotos Gravity.
- New short code as GRMP or GRUM.
- More pools.
- More promotion. Giveaways in other forums.
- More info at grumpycoins.com
- Rewrite thread title.

This exactly!

I see the same names here posting to try and get the ball rolling. It is US that will make the coin successful - look at other recent coins, all have a massive supportive community.

You want a team, we are all willing to help to make it work whatever it takes. We have one of us that nearly finished compiling a Mac Wallet - any acknowledgement from you Templar? Nothing whatsoever. I have setup a GPC forum (Come and join us at http://gpc1.freeforums.org/ if you want a chat) and have registered a domain to match, still no acknowledgement.

You should be posting here everyday. Look at TIPS, the devs are on the IRC channel daily and if you ask a question on here, they reply ASAP. We have to wait days for anything.

I'm not having a go - just saying If you are busy and need help, we are more than willing.

Oh and regarding the pool - I wonder who Evoked is - some real hashing power there Wink

Tony.

Nice one! I've found an IBM 1520 for £34 delivered!

Only thing is it comes with no cables...

Any ideas on pinouts on the above PSU?
