122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: November 16, 2018, 12:25:52 PM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?

Playing game online now is so addictive which may bring to children have no time but only for their games.Almost their life is in there.Children now is so extravagant because of their games they dont want them to disturd even in a seconds.

So we can say that both play game online and playing gambling can make someone addicted. In gambling, we are risking our money and with the game online can make us lost our time because we are playing the game in a day. This two activities will not give a big effect on our lives if we can take control of ourselves so we know the time to stop and leave the activities. So it is better that we can learn about controlling ourselves before it's too late.
If someone having self control while gambling then they will not say gambling is so addictive and the people who don't have that will get addicted even when they lose huge money for it so people need to decide about their gambling and future life before they are entering here. And they need to remember that gambling is not for money making if they want to make money do some job.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic function of Bitcoin on: November 16, 2018, 12:09:47 PM
Bitcoin is not like central bank,it is bank on our hand so we can make transaction if we want but its value only depends on about its acceptance and demand so it will have value until it been transacted and used by the people and as you said there are chance for that bitcoin go worthless even satoshi said that statement so use it at your own risk because it is decentralized and highly manipulated.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the use of credit cards a strong indicator of a nation's economy? on: November 16, 2018, 09:34:59 AM
As some may have observed, highly developed countries like the US encourages their people to use credit cards for transactions. Cash transactions are still used but mostly they prefer people to have their credit cards. I want to know if having a credit card really necessary even if they can afford to pay in cash? Are credit cards reflective of your ability to pay?
Using credit card means that their country citizen is not making enough revenue to cover up their daily life expenses so it is not an indicator of strong economy.

If you meant to say about the usage of digital payment then it also not since the developing countries like India also implemented debit and credit card payments everywhere but still it is one of the poor countries in the world.

125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: November 16, 2018, 08:34:47 AM
I do not really think it is the gambling directly that makes people go to a life of crime.

I think as you can see from a lot of Hollywood movies as well the trouble is not that someone who loses money in gambling goes and steals some money to repay, it is the people who he gambles with that makes it happen. There are not so good people who help people gamble, there are underground casinos and sportsbooks that are illegally run and the people who own those places have a lot of hired gun that will get the money from you one way or another.

If you get a loan from a bank and you do not pay it back, bank posses your things and sells it of an auction. If you gamble in an underground casino and lose, you will have to pay the debt or they will break your arm or leg or something. So it kinda depends on where you gamble not if you gamble.
When they are out of funds in gambling they are tempted to do the crimes as you said but it is not because of gambling it just happened because they need to repay the debts to the banks so we can call the banks also causing crimes among the people?

Not right ! so the fault is from the individual who is doing these kind of things.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: November 15, 2018, 04:24:42 PM
The longer you play in gambling, the more you are losing the money. Try to monitor your gambling transactions and you will see their the volume of transactions you are losing compare to those winning transactions, and sometime you lose big money compare to your small profit.
Losing over winning, well that's true. You will lose money in gambling but you can still win with any game that you'll play. No need to become an expert just to win, there's luck and each gambler will experience winning regardless of his experience and skill in gambling.

That's my experience with my entire life and though I'm  not an expert like what others say, you have the edge to win no matter what.
Just like you said all those losses can be overcome by single lucky bet but the problem is it may happen at any time or it won't happen forever too,so if someone is willing to try the luck by risking the money as much as they can they may taste the winning possibly.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: November 15, 2018, 02:37:31 PM
Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?
Yes still people will gamble as they were doing for years even they know that chance of winning is low for two reasons that they are doing this as entertainment purpose and most of the other think that risking small money to make some huge rewards. When you think gambling as fun then it is not waste of money you will get what for you came here but when money making is your intention then it is waste of money and time.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY DO WE NEED A TRADING PLAN ? on: November 15, 2018, 09:06:08 AM
When we don't have any plan about what we are doing then we can't be successful in that for longer period so when someone interested to do crypto trading as their primary job they need to do it with perfection and also they need to learn all the skills required for the trading.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you sell coins ? on: November 14, 2018, 06:55:50 PM
As Bitcoin is not legal in our country , I face many problems to sell my bitcoins . There is only way to sell bitcoins is through localbitcoins.
Still it will be a problem if you are using the localbitcoin.com to sell your bitcoin where cryptos are illegal when you are cashing out huge amount or cashing out in regular intervals because banks will be watching the transaction and will reported to the governments when they found suspicious about crypt trading on your accout because LBC traders maybe on their watchlist so make sure you are not facing any legal issues from this.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam? on: November 14, 2018, 04:37:00 PM
Not really because as you said we never know who is satoshi nakamoto so it doesn't meant to be scam but nowadays I won't suggest anyone to do this because scammers can make this as good opportunity to make money out of thin air.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin had a back up by real money? on: November 14, 2018, 01:22:59 PM
Bitcoin is not back up money,it just by demand and supply so the bitcoin has value and it can be converted into money which equivalent value on the exchanges at the current day.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: November 14, 2018, 09:04:35 AM
The biggest reason why the gambling is more successful business and it is always risk for the gamblers when the gamblers win the bets they will play for more to earn more but repeating the same winning is not possible for many times so they are going to lose more money than winning and the people who lost their bets keep trying again and again to recover from their loss so they also going to lose more money if they play more.
I guess its human nature that when they start to win, they will continue and will not stop until they feel they need to stop like when they don't have money anymore. Self discipline and self control should be practiced at all times. If I play in real world casino, I would bring someone with me to remind me when to stop. Online, I would set a limit on when I need to stop and access to my extra funds should not be within reach.
That's a good technique, a person with no discipline will not stop until they have nothing to gamble anymore.
Gambling is a good way to entertain ourselves but it could also be a way to ruin our life, the bad thing is we will experience more loses than winnings
so we should learn to control so gambling will not affect our daily living.
More precisely the greediness of the person causes the people to lose more money in the gambling so self control is what needed when they are entering into the gambling and like the above comment says they need to bring someone for casinos who is not a gambler or set the limit for themselves.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: November 14, 2018, 08:19:08 AM
So better to stay at home and do what you like but ensure you just gamble to have fun and enjoyment.
This is the reason why I love online gambling than playing in real world casinos. They can kick you out anytime they want. if they see that you are winning a lot, they will kick you out and might implement a ban on you. Look at UFC's Dana White, he is good at playing poker and there are casinos in Las Vegas where he cant play anymore.
When someone breaking the rules means they can be kicked out and will get ban on playing casinos and some kind of gamblers were kicked because of they are winning continuously so the people believe that they were cheating that is why they are removed from gambling but as you said the online gambling is best place to get our luck than in real life casinos where they may refuse to pay us by saying some reasons.

135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommendations for good exchanges on the smaller side? on: November 05, 2018, 12:39:36 PM
He said:
"good exchanges outside of the really big ones?"

So Binance is out

I can suggest taking a look at Cryptopia. It's a medium exchange and I never got a problem using it for months. (no KYC)
It can be an option but remember that at late 2017 and early 2018 the cryptohia have lot of scam accusations on them for stealing the money from the users wallet but I have used them just only for trading a particular coins and never faced any fee because I just deposit token then trade it for bitcoin and immediately moved my bitcoins to my wallet so chance of losing here is less but they have high fee when compared to some exchange tho.For small trader these things are need to be considered.
136  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Crypto Exchange do you use, and why? on: November 05, 2018, 07:04:33 AM
binance, mercatox, cryptopia i always recommend this three for newbies because of easy way of trade and i already use this without any problem like scam or anything bad then visit my many trading site then i use also poloniex in past but i already withdraw my btc and alts there still i think this is good trading site,Moreover try all site for experience and knowledge
Cryptophia is not always the best exchanges because there were lot of accusations were there on them about pending withdrawals and also you may face difficulties while receiving the confirmation email but I didn't get scam through that exchange but just the precaution for the newbies.Poloniex looks more dangerous so better to completely avoid it ans I have no idea about mercatox exchange and finally the Binance is the best of the current available exchanges.
137  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT SOURCE AND MODS NEEDED FOR INDIAN BOARD on: November 04, 2018, 12:52:15 PM
Apply to be a merit source and help resolve the issue.  Wink
Yeah I could but to be honest I know the chances of me becoming one is close to zero.  Cheesy
Trying is better than doing nothing  Smiley So if you want to be a merit source then show why you want to be then why you need to be a merit source, just pick the 10 of the meritable post and post your application.

I am not sure that even if you are capable you will be selected or not.Because "If you want to be merit source 1. Be a somewhat established member.".
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Saving Plan on: October 30, 2018, 06:10:07 PM
Yes as you pointed out it is (now i just checked) 1.73 Btc (0.95 in btc and the rest in other crypto). The number of btc is increasing daily due to my constant buying small amounts. As for the altcoins that is the reason why i haven't exchanged them into btc yet : i don't want to regret later... We LL see what i will decide about that but not now.
Thanks for the encouragment!
Some of the altcoins are also capable of go towards moon when there is price increase in bitcoin but not all the altcoins will do that so you need to be careful about what altcoins you were holding. If you are ready to lose any amount from your capital then just hold all the coins as it is and if some coins were bumping too high make convert into stable or bitcoin because after sudden bump there might be a dump as well.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: October 30, 2018, 10:00:47 AM
Huh
I have never spent too much time gambling, because if I spend too much time I will definitely be addicted and lose a lot of my money. I don't know how long I gambled, but not more than 1 hour. Usually I do sports gambling and by playing some games at the casino. I do this in my free time like when I have a day off or work breaks.
This is the reason I don't want to spend much time in gambling. I can't control myself and there is a possibility that I will be addicted if I spend too much time gambling. I normally spend at most one hour in gambling and I play dice games sometimes. I'm gambling just to have fun and so that I will not be bored.

Better for you if you can control or just gamble for fun. This will help you to even enjoy your time in gambling as you would not be much concerned about even if you lose as you are not playing to make money from it. As people who have addicted are now facing tough time.

Even the people who are very concerned about addiction will get addicted of they are gambling for money not instant but their mind will gradually go in the way of gambling to make money other than hard working. So how many time is not matter in the gambling the intention of us to gamble will be the reason for getting addicted or not.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive enemies it has created ?? on: October 30, 2018, 08:11:30 AM
Bitcoin is trying to eliminate US Dollar, Euro (world currencies), banks, gold, silver, anti-government, debit cards and credit cards, anti-tax

How will Bitcoin survive the many enemies it has created by declaring itself a revolution in payment system and decentralization??
First of all there is two different things in the world commodity called centralization and decentralization so all the fiat currencies including US and EURO are centralized the other silver and gold are decentralized just like the cryptos but Is that the bitcoin created to eliminate all of these? I don't think so but satoshi created this coin just to fight against the centralization and banks which are making us become their slaves because if inflation.
