241  Other / Meta / Re: 2 questions (Merit & Spam related). Higher ranked opinion needed. on: September 25, 2018, 05:27:24 AM

1 - Newbie starts a topic - copy/paste content from bitcoin-related article + link (so no plagiarism), no own thoughts nor any other contribution. Is it treated as spam and should it be reported to mods, or is it allowed and we should just ignore it?

2 - Would you reward a Newbie with his 1st merit point, if you see a decent post of his and/or engagement in discussion, but his posting history is, in vast majority, bounty-campaign proof posts? Do you consider such people as spammers, or you just ignore campaign-report posts? After all, they don't pollute the forum and are contained in dedicated threads.

1.I don't consider it as completely spam, maybe it is some helpful information required for the forum people but there is no effort from the person so it doesn't deserving merits in my opinion but some newbies copy paste very old articles which was already exhausted in that case we need to report them for spamming.

2.We can count the newbies among the crowd who is really creating helpful posts or topics in that case I may reward them with merits if he doesn't get any merit for that post.
242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been hacked on a crypto trading platform? (share your experience) on: September 24, 2018, 05:13:02 PM
I never faced any hack experience in my knowledge because when I go to use for trading I always add 2FA security and even for my LBC account I have 2FA and the IP access for login,in that case if user can hack your wallet but they can't be able to access because they need 2FA code for the access. And more over I never had cryptos much longer in trading experience this is what everyone needs to do if they want to stay away from hacks.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: What manipulators want on: September 24, 2018, 01:02:41 PM
Its simple they want to control the market and ultimately looking to make money, but we are the one wh let us the manipulators to do their work if we are not trusting the cryptos or the bitcoin then it will be better to completely quit from the cryptos other than just dumping and bumping their coin and involved in panic selling and buying.
244  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why withdrawal of BTC in Exrates exchange takes longer? on: September 24, 2018, 11:58:40 AM
Got my BTX after 6 hours of processing time.It made me feels that it is one of the exchange I am going to add my blacklist after this exchange.
This means that you don't suggest exrates? You just came there to exchange your btx for bitcoin but I checked the few buy orders and its only few that follows who are bidding same as for CMC price. And for the other sell orders they just set the price for the desire price but as long as there is no taker it wouldn't be sold.

Good to see that you've taken out your money there. 6 hours is an annoying waiting time.
As you said I don't suggest anyone to use this exchange because they have reported high volume of BTX but the price is not what mentioned in the CMC markets they buyers set very low price and the sellers set very high price so the trade is not going to happen unless you agrees to sell for that low prices. So move to an another exchange for converting my BTX next time,I hope Crptophia or BitZ will resume their services soon.
245  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why withdrawal of BTC in Exrates exchange takes longer? on: September 24, 2018, 06:01:55 AM
Any one have been using Exrates exchange in the recent days? I am exchanging some of my BTX into Bitcoin in the Exrates since Cryptophia and BitZ exchange have suspened the BTX deposits,I am successfully exchanged my BTX into BTC but much lower prices than in the CMC record but when I am processed withdrawal BTC it is still in pending for 3 hours, normally it will be processed in minutes in other exchanges?

Any update about Exrates exchange? Cryptopia deposit and withdrawal is under maintenance I was planning to make an account in Bit-z and HitBTC to exchange BTX but I'm thinking twice if this 2 exchange site is safe or not.
I hope that you can give us update about your withdrawal history about Exrates exchange thanks.
Exrates exchange is working and I got my BTC but their prices is very less when compared to cryptophia and BitZ but both those exchange have wallets under maintenance so it may take much longer for to deposit you BTX.

The other option for you is HitBTC but their fee is insane and if your intention is to convert your Bounty rewards only then I don't suggest you to go with exchange and also they on't implemented the segwit yet so you need to convert the address before sending to their address. So the option for you is Exrates or just wait for the Cryptophia.

247  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between the developed countries and developing countires on: September 23, 2018, 03:40:38 PM
Lets get discuss about the differences between the developed nation and the developing nation.

First of all employment is the thing which makes the countries stand out from each other in well developed nation there will be enough employment option will be made by their government according to the population on their country which can increase the better standard of living in that countries but the developing nations are struggling to find the job opportunities for their people.

In many cases the worst thing about developing countries is not that they don't have the money to pay people for their work, especially in public sector, but that the money is constantly being stolen by corrupt officials. All of us have seen the stories of millionaires from developing countries where most people are very poor. Those millionaires are, in fact, either former or current corrupt officials or their relatives. The only hope for countries like that lies in implementation of blockchain technology in the government sector. If the movement of all taxpayers' money was absolutely transparent it would be almost impossible to steal from the money.
That is why most of the governments were opposing the blockchain and bitcoin,if it got implemented then all the transactions will be accessible by everyone and it is impossible to change any values. As you said most of the developing nations don't have the right politicians or educated one who can think about future of their country, all they were doing right now is just filling their pockets with our tax money and left the government account with none for the improvement of their country.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodlers are unscrupulous parasites. Here's why on: September 23, 2018, 09:32:48 AM
Don't you think hodlers are the most useful type on the market? They do not allow the price to fall even lower. Yes, they do not participate in the development of bitcoin, but they do not allow the price to fall even lower.

You obviously see only one end of the stick or one side of the coin. Holding and hodlers as such wouldn't be a problem (strictly speaking, they still would be but for other reasons) if they never sold their coins. You evidently assume that they buy a bunch of coins and are never going to part with them. This is not the case. Well, some of them, especially early adopters and true believers are in fact waiting for a second coming (of Satoshi Nakamoto, let me guess) when they will be able to exchange their coins directly for real goods.

But this is not the case with the total majority of hodlers, which are ultimately going to sell their stashes for fiat as they hope to book handsome profits one day. And this part of the picture is the one you are so innocently missing as when they sell they sell it hard.
Everyone who is holding the bitcoin is just to make profits but they can make profits in terms of buying the products directly that is what they are supposed to do when they converted into fiat so if they have option of buying their needs with bitcoin they no need to other options like fiat. But still the process may take much longer and lots of people will sell their coins in the middle to buy the things what they wanted and it will make the adoption much slower even but they are not going to stop the adoption.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: September 23, 2018, 07:33:04 AM
Gambling is one of the most addictive so when young people can go into that then they get trapped easily unlikely the experienced old people, but I don't think most of the young people are not concentrating on the gambling or these kind of things because now a days the people were much concentrating on building their career.

251  Other / Meta / Re: Flaws In The Merit System. on: September 21, 2018, 01:40:04 PM
Yes, some of the section where there are multiple merit deserving posts and quality contents are just very low in the list.

I think this sections should have more merit circulation than meta
1. Bitcoin Discussion
2. Alt-coin Discussion
3. Development and technical discussion
This is the biggest flaw of merit system until now because the main reason of this forum is to discuss about the bitcoin and new crypto projects but meta and local board have more number of merit circulation that the main discussion board so still we need to make some tweaks in the merit system.

And also merits distributed in META were totally useless in my opinion so I am asking theymos to remove the merit button from the meta section then we can concentrate on the bitcoin discussion of our forum. Smiley
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged? on: September 20, 2018, 08:16:44 AM
I see and observe recently that many ICOs are below the ICO price when they touch the exchange. Do you think it's a smart step to wait for an exchange and buy the tokens you want?
If you buy at ICO sale you can get bonus which can help you to make more money than the capital invested even if the token price fell below the ICO rate but if the price fell too much you invested on the wrong worthless project so it is your fault and when buy at the exchange after listed it will remove lot of risk like scam ICO but you will get less profits than the ICO sale.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: September 20, 2018, 04:33:17 AM
As we can see each and every transaction for bitcoin is publicly registered to the blockchain where in all of us have access, so I am just thinking if anonymity or providing privacy will be the next move for bitcoin. Just my thoughts, you can add yours here and let's discuss it.
I don't think the anonymity will be the only reason for the future of bitcoin, already we have the system and everybody know how it works so it will be like this forever so if someone concern about the anonymity then they need to use the bitcoin mixers which makes the bitcoin hard to be traced. In future anonymity is the reason for the usage cryptos then people won't pick the bitcoin there are some coins like Monero are available with high anonymity.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: September 19, 2018, 04:03:02 PM
So many people are interested in amassing wealth without giving a dime to the less privilege around them, yet they will still be among the first to criticize the government in its failure to eradicate hunger and poverty in the country. You should also know that the duty of eradicating poverty must not be left to the government alone. You must also contribute your quota.

If you are lucky to be wealthy, you should see it as a social responsibility to help the less privileged people in the society. If I may ask, do you feel comfortable driving past several beggars on the street when you have billions of money in your account that you or your entire family may not be able to exhaust in the next 100 years?

Think about this seriously. With the so much money in the world, poverty can greatly be reduced if not totally eradicated.

All that is necessary is the distribution of this wealth.

There is enough to go round.
The employment with good salary is the only way to eradicate the poverty from this world but it won't happen because people never give free money to anyone even the right salary to most of their employees. And to be honest if all the people were equally distributed in wealth then no one will do work so the world will get stuck at its place since no one will go for their work so only smart people who have the knowledge to make money.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is when I bet all into cryptocurrency on: September 18, 2018, 05:14:33 PM
Bitcoin for some reason refuse to go below $6000. It is no brainer that the price of bitcoin will higher in the next decade but bitcoin fluctuations could kill you if you attempt to trade it. My advice would be divide your capitals into portion and just buy a bit of bitcoin every month.

I have been thinking the same thing, Bitcoin has bounced off of the low $6k range so many times this year, seems to be very strong support at those levels. Hopefully this support holds, but if it breaks we potentially could see a much longer bear market. I'm honestly thinking the SEC decision on sept 30 for the Vaneck ETF will play a huge role in whether or not the market will be bullish or bearish over the next year.
ETF decision by SEC will have the effect on the bitcoin prices but not a long term effect which might ignite a dump or bump at the market for a while then later the people will accept their decision and will move on to their investment plan.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you pick your trades? on: September 18, 2018, 06:56:01 AM
How do you select what you invest your precious satoshi's in?

Free signals? Paid signals? Own TA? Depth charts? Pure luck? Acting on regular volatility?

Personally, my tipple of choice is depth charts. Would be happy to debate the relative merits and hear how other people make it work for them.

How do you protect against dumps (Bart!)? How do you pick the coins you want to analyse? Are you successful?
I never believed on the signals for investing or making trading decision because I know we are not going to be benefit from the signals and then the technical analysis is also factors we need to look but the fundamental analysis is much important in the successive trades based on luck as well because we are investing st speculative thing with the hop of price will increase in the future.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give your opinion about the current market and future on: September 18, 2018, 05:08:16 AM
What is your opinion on the current market? Good day coming soon For traders because of major coins are in oversold position. Just need some good news. It's time to buy  Ethereum, Bitcoin and others coin
Nothing new,the crypto market is just keeps bumping and dumping at the regular intervals which keeps the prices of crypto currencies at certain range, for bitcoin $6000 to $7000 and for other coins respective ranges. But this also good time for the traders because we can identify that the prices were moving at certain range so we have to buy at bottom and sell and the top range will make more profits.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 17, 2018, 04:01:17 PM
Crypto currencies are decentralized which means no one is controlling but governments want the currency system under their control so they are trying to limit the usage of crypto currencies in their country but it can't be done forever since people try to move their market capitals into the crypto currencies which reduces the tax for any government so they need to regulate the crypto currencies which can yield them the taxes rather than completely banning it.
259  Other / Meta / Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements on: September 17, 2018, 07:14:47 AM
That means, that i need to buy merit, just to rank up?
You have to earn the merits,if you are buying it means you are abusing it so you will be red tagged if you get caught for merit trading.
I been doing a lot of post, but never had a merit.
Doing lot of posts doesn't mean you will get merits, make some useful posts which can be helpful for the upcoming users.
What should i do?
Just keep doing good posts soon you will get caught in to some generous heart who will share their merit.
260  Other / Meta / Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements on: September 17, 2018, 06:38:59 AM
I LOST MY SIGNATURE SIR ON CAFECOIN  IN THIS KIND OF ISSUE IM AFFECTED
If you only creating bounty reports throughout your life then you will never get ranked up,try to create some useful posts and your rank will be updated soon, that is only one merit needed man.Now the task will be less tough since we have 36 new merit sources who will help the good posters to rank up."Try to learn how to surf with the waves or you will be drowned"
