1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Regulation Must Be International on: January 19, 2018, 05:16:20 PM
every country has regulation Japan Legalize crypto while China Ban. This contradictiv? is it possible International regulation for cryptos?

Joachim Wuermeling, a member of the board of Germany's Bundesbank, has suggested that any attempt to regulate cryptocurrencies would require international cooperation. Speaking at an event in Frankfurt on Jan. 15, the director told listeners:

"Effective regulation of virtual currencies would therefore only be achievable through the greatest possible international cooperation, because the regulatory power of nation states is obviously limited.”

Nope. I think i disagree with this opinion. The main focus of crypto is to break the rule of centralization. Then, if we unite the regulation, then there are many opportunities that crypto will be centralize again. The bad effects of centralization is "abuse of power" which is one man can rule everything.
I agree.

One of the most important promises of cryptocurrency has always been, to end centralization of power in one entity's hands. Nowadays we seem to forget that in many cases...
But any government don't want decentralized economy so they will oppose the crypto currency totally or they will use the crypto currency in the favour of their side by implementing the taxes in the name of regulation.I don't think it will be implemented globally because every country has different state about crpyo currency so they can decide what they want to do in their respective countries.
Regulation of crypto currency may have some advantages too, like it can restrict the terrorist or criminals by using crypto currency so our countries can be safe.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what coming ICO are good to invest now? on: January 19, 2018, 02:34:35 PM
need advice!
To be I can't suggest you any ICO for investing because ICO investment is great risk investment you might lose all your money if you pick the worng one.So you have to decide which one is best for you,do your own research because no one really knows whats ICO can give good returns if they knows that they will become a millionaire now. Cool
So research about the ICO development team and read their whitepaper carefully and pick the with long term goals it might give good profits. You can search about the all available ICO on announcement section.

1044  Economy / Marketplace / Re: bitcoin price from 20$ down to 13$. What do you think about this decline? on: January 19, 2018, 11:40:33 AM
It is happened becasue in December of 2017 people were celebrating Christmas and happy new year, that's why people convert bitcoin into their currency and i think so it was a reason for bitcoin price down. Otherwise now bitcoin has turn to going to up and in March i hope so bitcoin definitely come up and it will give us good price.
That was the reason for the fall of bitcoin price in December but now it is happened due to the rumors of banning all over the countries but it is really fake no countries banned crypto currency(China and Korea) they are just regulating it by the appropriate tax implementations. But now the price os going up and bitcoin is still the most expensive crypto.
The price bump and dump always happens with all the crypto currencies so we can't say that coin is going to dead. You can see that the price is now jumped from $9000 to $12000 in some hours. So we have to be patient while the price is dumping.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you do a pump and dump with little money? on: January 18, 2018, 04:08:50 PM
Can you do a pump and dump with little money?in a cryptocurrency

The total capitalization of crypto currency market is about $500B so you need to be a big whale to control the prices of the crypto currencies. But I don't think people from here are not have that much ability to control the prices. So we have to make the money using the bumps and dumps accordingly. There is another option to control the bump and dump by spreading the positive and negative news all over the world. If you have these kind of ability the you also can the bumps and dumps.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did YOU decide? on: January 18, 2018, 02:23:16 PM
What made you pick a particular coin to invest in? Is it one factor or a formula of several?

I bought Bitcoin and Ethereum because they were the most popular. Now I want to invest in one or two others. My first thought was to pick ones that are dedicated to a sector like KodakCoin targeting photographers.

Ed
There are several factors need to be undertaken while deciding which coin is best for you.
1.First choose based on you investment amount for example $100 investment on bitcoin won't give any big profits normally so you have to choose a low priced coin which may explode in the future.
2.Based on the coin market cap value ranks, you can pick coins from top ranked on coinmarket cap but most of the coins will give good profits while your investment is in longer term.
3.You can purchase the trending coin at the moment which can give you profits for short term but you need to watch carefully the price always sometimes the price will crash in no time.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap on: January 18, 2018, 12:49:01 PM
just a simple dump... Sometimes things happen, but do not be afraid. Cryptocurrencies turned green.
I don't think it is just a simple dump because I never seen anything like this before and the market cap value of crypto currency just fell into half in two days and it is created by the panic selling. But now the conditions turning into normal every coin is in green mark.Hopefully the capitalization of coinmarket cap will again reach $600B.
As you said no need to afraid just hold and keep buying if you can because we knows that the price will recover soon if anything happened like this. And another thing is that every beginning of the year the price was dumped so it happened now also and the price is recovering.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto oversight legislation be needed in every country? on: January 18, 2018, 02:40:20 AM
"Russian president Vladimir Putin believes that legislation laying out rules for the country’s cryptocurrency sector will be needed in the future.""This is the prerogative of the central bank at present and the central bank has sufficient authority so far. However, in broad terms, legislative regulation will be definitely required in future,” he said.

Will crypto oversight legislation be needed in every country?
Yes,it is needed or it will be implemented by every governments in future. The backbone of every government is that our taxes in crypto currencies there is no need to pay any taxes to them so there is no benefit for the country, mainly for the politicians. So they will regulate which means implement the necessary taxes which can give enough revenue for the governments.
Another reason for regulating crypto currency is to stop the illegal activities on their country because we can use crypto currencies for illegal activities with ease because of its anonymity.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: France declares war on the cryptocurrencies on: January 17, 2018, 02:59:20 PM
I read on news that

"The French finance minister has called for tough new regulations on cryptocurrencies to stop them being used to dodge tax or finance terrorism and other crimes"
Source ( http://metro.co.uk/2018/01/15/france-declares-war-cryptocurrencies-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-ripple-tough-new-stance-lead-ban-7231339/?ito=cbshare)

Is this having any impact on the downtrend nature of the whole Crypto Currency market today?
Are some investors having second thought about crypto and selling them?

Would like to get some idea about this.

It says regulation ot actually banning it, a lot of goverments have woken up and relized the fact that there are a lot of people who are involved in the cryptocurrency industry that are earning millions of dollars without paying taxes, honostly i am suprised that they didn't do this a long time ago when the cryptocurrency was just used by a few people, i think this was the strategy all along for goverments to let the crypto industry to evolve and grow and let the prices go up so that people  think that they can get rich from it and than drop the bompb by regulating it and making them pay taxes for it, and we can see that not only the french govermment has came to the decesion of regulating it, many govements have taken severe decisons conserning it, and we can see that that affected the prices real hard.
As you said immediate action of many governments are against the crypto currency investors so it causes huge price fall in crypto currency market.Bitcoin price is falling under $10K and still falling same cases going on with every crypto currency. The total coinmarket value of crypto currency turned $650B into less than $400B maybe it will fall more.
I hope this is weird situation will change soon hopefully or it may affect many investors hardly.

I don't want to sell any of my crypto currency until the condition will get normal or I will lose more money from my life savings.
1050  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you don't buy you will cry on: January 17, 2018, 10:27:15 AM
The biggest crash in the history of BTC has been occurred from 2 days ago till now. It' all over now. If you don't buy after reading this post you will cry soon.
Maybe the price will fall little more so we can wait little more to buy bitcoins or buying now also a great choice.I think the currenct price is around $10K made a huge fall over 40% in just two days. Not only the bitcoin every crypto is falling so it maybe a good opportunity to invest on bitcoins or other crytpo currencies.
But most of the people are selling their bitcoins instead of buying it.You can see that by number of pending transaction in blockchain network is keeps increasing. But the time need to recover from this price fall will be more I think it takes more than three months to become condition become normal.

1052  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is South Korea really banned bitcoin?or it is just a rumor? on: January 16, 2018, 10:43:44 PM
Can anyone explain me South Korea is really banned crypto currencies or it is just a fake news spreading to create massive FUD?

If they banned please give the proof for it because many people saying they banned but some saying no they didn't yet Huh

It is better to give a list of countries who actually banned bitcoins in their country.
I am also really don't know whether they banned or not yet but some of the forum members said they totally banned the crypto currencies in their country. But that is the main reason for crypto market is falling.
Another country banned crypto currency is China recently they totally banned crypto currency and all the exchanges(overseas and local) are already shut down by the Chinese government.
In my knowledge China,South Korea,Bangladesh,India(maybe not yet)and some other Asian countries banned crypto currencies in their country and if anyone caught using will leads to serious punishment.

India hasn't banned Bitcoin or crypto-currency till now, However Indian govt. attitude towards Bitcoin is not much encouraging. Even the Central Bank(RBI) of India also cautioned Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies users calling it a bubble and suggested to stay away from it.
Thanks for the info, but maybe soon they will take some steps against crypto currencies by shutting down the exchanges like China did earlier.

1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who knows why every crypto is falling? on: January 16, 2018, 03:04:28 PM
The current downfall in the cryotocurrency price is due to China's ban,not due to South Korea that is not a big populated country when compared to China.Recently China stoppes ICOs and local cryotocurrency exchanges on their country but now they want to totally ban cryotocurrency over their country. So there is huge fall in the investors because most of the cryp traders and investors are from China.
You are right,China totally banned crypto usage in their country or maybe going to ban soon this is the reason for the huge price fall in the all crypto currencies. It is nearly $150B price fall in coinmarket cap value and bitcoin is digging under $12K maybe the price will fall more in the coming days. And if you check the coinmarket website every coin is in red radar and faced price fall over 20% for each coin.
I expect the time needed to recover from this price fall will be more than the normal because I never seen anything like this before in crypto market.
1055  Economy / Marketplace / Re: China calling for a wider ban on Crypto currency trading ? on: January 16, 2018, 12:38:44 PM
Just after the Korean news that Korea going to shut down all Crypto exchanges completely. A similar news coming from China now. here is the link for the news

https://www.coindesk.com/pboc-official-calls-for-wider-ban-on-chinese-crypto-trading-report/?utm_content=buffer291bb&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
After banning domestic cryptocurrency exchanges now they also want to ban exchanges from outside their country? so how do they implement that if people from their country can just use virtual private network to access those blocked websites, remember that facebook and google are banned in china but there are still ways to access that. I doubt that can stop people from accessing those exchanges. China have to accept the fact that they cannot stop cryptocurrency. Btw as of now south korea still didn't shutdown all exchanges on their territory, it is still a proposed ban. Read this https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/15/south-korea-to-decide-what-to-do-about-crypto-exchanges-after-talks.html
As you said we can access the overseas exchanges if they shut down on their countries virtually but many people won't do that because China will follow the strict rules if anyone get caught using they might have to be in jail for years. For the people who don't care about these will continue to use bitcoins but we can't say all use bitcoins even if it was banned do it might affect the price of bitcoin more.
But I think the ban is not implemented yet so we have to wait to know what is really happening. They maybe temporarily doing this kind of precautions until they know how to control the bitcoin usage.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen? on: January 16, 2018, 10:00:06 AM
Well if bitcoin was a bubble... it is exploding now...!!   just couple of months back it was hitting $20k mark. In start when it was going down every body was saying its going doing because of Christmas people are pulling out money for shopping but i guess they should have returned back... but they did not Cheesy
Not only the bitcoin is falling each and every crypto is falling so it is not about the bubble. This is happening due to the countries banning bitcoins and crypto currencies. So it is better to stop spreading rumors around the people which make the condition more worse.
I think this is an golden opportunity to invest on crypto currencies so everyone pick their coins and buy as soon as possible because the price may bump at any time.Cyrpto market is highly unpredicatble.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wtf is happening today for all altcoins?! on: January 16, 2018, 08:57:47 AM
Just hold your coins soon the price will recover.I think this is happening due to countries banning crypto currencies but there are more rumors are created by the crypto currency haters which results more down fall in the price then it is supposed to be.
So it is time for buying some crypto(in my opinion) so we can make more profits in the future. The new investors don't panic about price fall this is just normal scenarion when a country bans bitcoin the same situation happened with the China issue but soon the price bumped back so might happen this time also.

I'm going to start forcing people to go segwit now. You have 3 weeks to swap to a segwit wallet or you won't be receiving payment.

Just found out my own electrum isn't segwit even. It's the latest version but still non segwit. Help would be appreciated on how to make a segwit electrum wallet.

Checking applications right now.

I am confirming that payments were received. Will provide a segwit address soon.

Not sure if i'm posting in correct thread...

Hi. I have a strange problem during the last month:
I use blockchain web wallet. About a month ago i began to be unable to send btc: the sending form was in eternal refresh mode (there is no field to put a btc address). The only thing support advised was to clear cookies.  Angry
Now when i login i see a 0 balance and no transactions in my wallet history!! Support simply ignores my requests on that matter. Can anyone tell me what's going on?
Blockchain have lot of issues like this but don't worry your coins are safe maybe this is just problem of accessing into your account. You just use google chrome browser which I have been using for accessing blockchain.info wallet and it will ask for authorization.Sometime you just have to copy the code which you have received on your wallet rather than just click authorize on your wallet. Then you may see your bitcoins on your wallet.Never use blockchain mobile app for transaction there are lot of issues coming up for the users who is using mobile app.
If you still can't find your bitcoins then contact the support team but it needs some weeks for their response.

Everything in this world have good and bad sides so we need to get enough knowledge of crypto market before investing on ICOs.There are many new people just want to make quick money so only the criminal targeting the crypto investors. So the people who want to invest on ICOs need to make enough iresearches about the project team to reduce the risk of losing your investments.
