1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else is holding on to DOGE long term? on: December 20, 2013, 03:50:29 AM
Interesting Multipool theory. Good that I dont do that Multipool thing.

Bought a good chunk of Doge yesterday and would have made 150% profit after 12h, but did not sell, will wait for much higher levels. Even if we reach E-5 or E-4 btc prices I will think twice before selling this excellent coin.

You all forget that it has overtaken FeatherCoin already, it is just so much more profitable to mine it. Yes sure prices will even out eventually, but for now, it is the most profitable crypto currency in the world. Period.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else is holding on to DOGE long term? on: December 20, 2013, 03:09:26 AM
I mined DOGE early for fun and garnered a respectable amount, certainly worth more than I've ever had since starting at the beginning of this month.  Earlier today I came close to cashing out but after reading many posts about people mistakenly dumping coins right after being introduced instead of months down the road when they would've got dozens of BTC, I decided whats a couple days of mining worth if it has the potential to make me rich down the road.  DOGE already has a lot of infrastructure compared to coins introduced even a long time ago so even when the meme gets old I feel like the coin will still have some utility.

Nobody can foresee the future, *anything* can happen. Best bet is to cash out a bit of your accumulated doges and wait for later in case it goes to tha moon (you know it will). May I ask what KH/s rate you threw for how long at what Diff?

I was able to login and change cash out to the value I own. Then pool went offline again. Doggies did not arrive, were never send. I must say this is still a very strage situation, especially b/c I dont read facebook, I expect the OP of this thread, the owner of the pool to respond here to our problems and give an ETA and send the darn doges already, they are ours, not his to poss, we wasted the electricty after all, didn't we?
1344  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN][P2Pool] Check Out P2Pool.org - 30 coins and counting! on: December 20, 2013, 02:33:38 AM
Hashrate was around 700 MH/s. I did point my miners away now for obvious reasons. I am using GUIMiner/Scrypt, so very basic commands build-into GUIMiner. Had not a problem with this setup with other pools yet. Can you find my username / doge adress somewhere inside your stats and what happened to the last 6-12h of mining?

Are you using an address from the client on your computer as the username or from an exchange?

And also, if you were mining in MH/s you were most likely mining with the wrong algorithm.

If you are using the SHA256 algorithm to mine then that would explain why you haven't gotten paid and haven't shown up on the payout list.

Not trying to be rude or anything like that but I don't think I would have over 100Mh/s on my pool if it wasn't paying out.

Hi, thanks for your fast reply, much appreciado.

- Adress from my Client on my PC
- I am mining 1MH/s as in 1000 KH/s = Correct algorithm, just applied mathematics at work.
- I am NOT using SHA256, I am using Scrypt as posted earlier

The problem is not with me, the problem is with the pool, maybe orphan block, no block or else? In 6h no no income in DogeCoin, this is bad news. No possibility to research. The pool web site is like a white paper, no info, no stats, no nothing. Please advise how I can get my money. It is mine, shares were submitted, electrity used, GPU 100%, Proof of Work.

@Admin: Old pool up, but unable to login, I requested payout before, but nothing never arrived. Still smells very bad. Please fix, send money, it is mine, not yours, thank you.

Why not state clearly in this thread that p2pool.org and p2pool.com are not affiliated with p2pool?

I added some clarification about p2pool.org to the first post. I think p2pool.com is pretty obviously not.

In other related news, using http://p2pool.info/ as the new homepage for P2Pool is on the horizon since I recently took up maintenance of it and as it's already well-known.
good, about time to handle with the guy @ p2pool.org

Can you help me? I've been mining into p2pool.org and did not get any coinage.

Anyone tried P2Pool.org? I am not receiving any doge from them.
1351  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [117 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: December 19, 2013, 11:07:27 PM
How many hours does it usually take the pool to pay out?
About 1 millisecond.

Why did I not receive any then? (I am mining doge since 12 hours).

Nobody says anything about a few problems, but taking the pool offline, chaning pool names, domain names, not paying out shares, revoking log-ins and then going incommunicado is more than just concerning.

@PoolOwner: If you don't want me to escalate this issue and make peace with your pool community, please post in this thread at the earliest as possible or answer to my PM. I cannot get more clear than this, I hope it was.

Why are there only a few blocks found?

http://dogepool.pw/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks
Live Pool Info
Pool Hash Rate: 792.294MH/s

According to this, there would be a block in 22 min?
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=792849&difficulty=245.18329466&power=&energycost=0.10&currency=USD

The pool owner is changing Domain and Pool Name frequently, so far Hundrets of Millions of Doges outstanding, he shut down the cryptovalley pool and ALL money / doges went missing. So if you are into loosing all doges mine at dogepool.pw.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow - v1.2 Released on: December 19, 2013, 05:12:13 PM
i tried many pools but the best one is http://dogepool.pw other may have much ghs but this one is stable and dont get ddos attack.

other are under attack so this shits to our profit.

The poolowner is withholding funds for 12h now. Old pool name as Cryptovalley. Was down often and for prolonged period of times. Changes adress and pool name often. I am not sure yet, but it smells like a Scam Pool. Look into the CryptoValley Thread for more confidence - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=366300.msg4043351#msg4043351

If the owner lives up to his array of yet to be fullfilled promises and pays out all the miners' doges accumulated over the last few days and weeks, I will post here.

I'm sick of getting scammed, a fun coin doesnt imply that it is suddently fun getting scammed. To the pool owner - please clarify publicly and pay us back our doges. Do this ASAP please.

All my Doge is gone, old pool down, much offline. Lost a lot of Doges b/c pool was constantly offline. PCs run through for 12h without a single share turned in. New pool sign in not working with old credentials. What is this. Huge scam or just some problems? Owner: Please clarify immediately - give us back our Doge!
