yes, it’s better than bitcoin and big altcoins. problem with small altcoins is most of them Scam/died. but if you lucky will earn more than saving bitcoin and ETH As you said the problem with most of the cheap altcoins is it will lose it value by the time so its called died so we need to research about that cheap altcoin before investing but the success rate is very less so you are taking huge risk. In my view it is better to invest on the good altcoins then cheap altcoins,the profight might be less but the losing percentage of our investment is also less. |

That's really good news for the bitcoin users this will reduce transaction fee to affordable for little amount transactions to this will encourage the bitcoin users to spend their bitcoins but still many people don't want to spend the bitcoin because we can get more profits by just holding the bitcoins.
But if that implemented then price increase rate will be much than before so I am looking forward to implement the lightning network.And this also helps to decrease the pending transactions in recent time the pending transaction rate has been increased upto 10 times so the fee is getting expensive so it need to be implemented soon.

I don't think it's wise to make this a DO A or B question. If you want to buy or invest in Bitcoin, it should be based on your own solid research. If you want to invest into an ICO, it should also be based on the same interest to actually be a part of the project, and it should also be based on solid research leading to your decision making.
Either you do something because you are led to believe it is the correct decision or you stay away from making rash decisions.
Oh, by the way, I've stayed away from ICOs and only believe in Bitcoin and a few other non-ICO alts.
Yeah it is important to do his own research of which is best but as a senior in the bitcoin field we can give some tips or suggestion what is best for him.In my view buying and holding bitcoin is best optio because the ICO investment are too risky we will lose our investment if we picked the wrong coin so just buy bitcoins and keep it for some years to have good profits.I always suggest ICO investment for short term investors because many tokes will lose their value after the days so we have to sell our tokens from ICO to make profits. |

I never believed that altcoins are in dying stage, because first of all crypto currency now are starting to become famous in many country. So I'm sure that altcoins have a huge chance to increase their value on the following weeks or months, all we need to do for now is to be patience waiting for the right time.
Moreover I think if the alternative coins are dying, balanced of crypto currency will be destroy. The possibility to increase bitcoin are higher but the in return they can't be afford this coin in the future.
As you said the bitcoins are not dying the price just fell sue to the huge demand for bitcoin but in the coming days the price of ethereum will start to rise because many people got the knowledge of crypto currency so new investor will come in the near future.So it is good time to buy altcoins because the price of most altcoisn are cheaper so people who is looking for long term investment will pick their coin now foe cheap price. |

I can answer my question by saying that bitcoin has what others don't and that's being the pioneer in the crypto markets. Which is why everything is priced in bitcoin But really....what does bitcoin do better that any other alt? What's the intrinsic value of bitcoin that I can't get with other alt? Transaction fees? No. Fast network? No. scalability? No. A functional product? No. Full anonymity? No. Descentralización? No. So? The markets are priced in bitcoin, and being that base of value is pretty important, but...is that it?
The benefit of bitcoin is it's stable price growth over the years and it never failed to give us profits as a bitcoin holder or investors.Some other altcoins price growth is huge in short term but bitcoin is doing it for long term so people think bitcoin is better to invest and so people are buying bitcoins over other crypto currencies. |

Hello all, I been a long time reader here but have only recently signed up. I started mining bitcoin in 2015. I saved up and brought 2x second hand s3 antminers and a 1x s1 antminer, I was really interested in the blockchain tech and had to have a piece of the pie. I mined just over 4btc which had been sitting in my blockchain.info wallet. One day I couldn't access my email due to wrong password, I finally got access back into my email and noticed a few emails had been deleted as well as the one which contained my wallet details, lucky I had a .txt backup. Urgently I log into my wallet and found I had been a robbed, all my btc was gone. My heart sunk, I feel so bummed all that work and money for nothing. My advice is Dont keep you wallet details in your email or online at all. If you have bitcoin dont tell anyone Use an offline or physical wallet Dont make the same mistake as me  Oh no,it is very hard to digest because 4 BTC is really big amount with the current value,but if we are having more than one bitcoins it is better to store it in a hardware wallet and never store your passwords or wallet details into mails or google drive even not in your system just keep it in a pen drive and keep it in a secured place.But don't worry you can make more bitcoins than you lost by working smartly,try to do trading with your mined bitcoins to get extra profit.And try to do altcoin trading which give good profit with less investment then you just but bitcoins with the profit from altcoin mining. |

Bitcoin transactions maybe slow due to more number of pending transactions but it will be resolved in a day or two,so it is not a good reason to say it is a scam coin,if you think it is scam just stop using bitcoins.Bitcoins price is reaching new high due to the upcoming fork so all the people are selling their altcoin to buy bitcoin which causes demand for bitcoin. I never faced any problem with bitcoin exchanges and wallets,if your wallet being hacked you need to keep your bitcoins in a software or hardware wallet then it is impossible to hack your wallet. |

This rapid price increasing is happening due to many investors are selling their altcoins to buy bitcoin so the price of all altcoins are dumped even the price of ethereum is decreasing.So there is chance for futher price increase in bitcoin in coming weeks and possibily bitcoin able to hit $20K at the end of 2017 if it continue to go at this rate. Yeah,if the price is continues for long time the bitcoin maybe able to reach $1M in 2020 or 2025.But there are chances for price crash too so we have to wait and see what is going to happen in future. |

I know bitcoins from its early stage but I never thought that bitcoin will reach this level so I am worrying now,failed to invest on bitcoins in its early stage but I later realized that bitcoin price keeps increasing everyday so I started to hold my bitcoins and converted all my altcoins in to BTC recently due to the rapid price increase,I invested on bitcoin at $1K but now the price of bitcoin is at $14K.Even though I invested very lately but still I made huge profits from bitcoin.
