101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHA]SHACoin2 - Dead Revival - Virtual & Physical Coin - Faucet on: March 24, 2015, 11:01:21 AM
About Allcoin.com

They seem to have no time to update our wallet. So, we maybe need another exchange.
But with cryptsy have we tried???

It's not on the cryptsy voting list and nobody can vote until it gets on there.

Do they supply an account number to deposit with credit/debit cards?

Sooner or later the whales sell and spread their stash among the little guys.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 07, 2015, 02:38:57 AM
Is there any way to estimate how long it will take to reach a consensus on whether to implement the 20MB fork?
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Damn, just bought 0.25 btc and now it's tanking! on: March 07, 2015, 02:08:48 AM
I was thinking of buying but the price just dropped by $2. I was expecting it to go up, not down!
Damn. Hopefully it will rise an impressive amount. Then you could buy.

I'll wait until tomorrow and probably regret it. I sold when stonerider bought and I regret that.
107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase. :-( on: March 07, 2015, 01:41:56 AM
Unfortunately unless you.have been long standing with them they can be a pain. My account is over a year old and I never get a rejected order for a long time now

Their fees for newbies are over the top. Do they charge lower fees for longstanding customers?

Microsoft says all versions of internet explorer are vulnerable. I checked my version of Chrome and it's not vulnerable according to https://freakattack.com/.

110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Auction proceeds - 50,000 BTC is a shitload on: March 07, 2015, 01:21:42 AM
The 50k BTC is actually subject to civil litigation with Ross so the government will not necessarily get to actually spend any of that money. If they do win in court then the proceeds will make their way to the general government budget.

While your proposals do sound "good" on paper, there is no real reason to be giving people all that free shit in exchange for nothing. If you give away money or services or goods (despite how necessary they are) then you are taking away incentives for people to work

Ross admitted starting the silk road in court, but claimed he sold it to someone else. That alone will probably lose him the civil litigation case.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: February 22, 2015, 10:00:32 AM
Hi Folks,

Another Checkcoin deserter here, looks like you guys beat them to it. I was a little hesitant to invest, but now I see that you are actually developing I pulled the trigger. I only invest in product, not just ideas. That's so 2013.

.....

It's best to invest in some solid development rather than promises made without any code backing them.

Cast your vote for SUPER and post a SUPER reply in the thread  Wink

Gotta love Supercoin's super-fast multisig transactions!  Cool

Is the multisig easy to use?
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am becoming skeptic about the crowdfunded crypto 2.0 projects! on: February 05, 2015, 01:11:10 AM
I'm not against crypto 2.0 projects but there have been some big let downs. Crypti raised a massive amount of bitcoins during its IPO and now it's worth peanuts.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular IRC chans on Freenode for altcoins? on: January 27, 2015, 08:54:59 PM
thanx guys!
since i feel obligate i will say where i found best chats/giveaways since 90% of chans are just idling

#exclusivecoin - many giveaways and few known members that reply to complicated topics
#dogecoin - alot of talking and tipping, good to just chill there for tips
#bittrex - propably most talkative of all channels
#bitcoin - quiet yet easily to get banned, do not post links
#cryptorush bad exchange but alot of talking

How come cryptorush chat is active when the exchange is closed?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mazacoin is back! on: January 27, 2015, 08:50:22 PM
Can you post a link showing Mazacoin's network hash?
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get free Ripple on: January 10, 2015, 08:14:40 PM
There used to be Ripple giveaways here but giveaways here were banned last year. Perhaps there are still Ripple giveaways on some of the other alt coin forums. I have not looked at them lately so I'm not sure.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGECoin Price on: January 10, 2015, 08:10:53 PM
I think price will raise. Even a little bit. A price over 1$ per unit would be awesome

I don't know if 1$ per unit is realistic.

In my opinion it is more probable for Dogecoin to gain half of bitcoin market cap, than for bitcoin to show the same amount of growth in the same period of time.

1$ per unit would give it a market cap of $97,396,922,074

People are not sure if Bitcoin can get a $97 billion market cap, never mind Doge. I don't think it's realistic Doge could be worth that much in the foreseeable future.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] The Nxt Technology Tree - Nxt's Sidechains mainnet release @ block 330000 on: January 02, 2015, 11:12:54 PM
Will we need to install a new wallet version before the Monetary System goes live?

For now, install 1.4.6: https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-4-6/
Indeed, 1.4.6 is a hard fork.

If another version is release, I would keep it up to date if the release is another hardfork.

Is there anywhere we can download a copy of the blockchain?
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 02, 2015, 11:09:43 PM
I have not bothered reading up on paycoin, but someone claimed it's ICO raised more than Ethereum. Is this true and can the dev dump the ICO bitcoins? Is there an address where we can see the ICO bitcoins?
