Another thing , If only people who provide resources will get paid , what would anyone buy the coin as there is no demand ? (unless people who use the network will have to pay coins as well)
Spend Safecoins to store data on the network, paid Safecoin options for more features on apps, buy and sell Safenet domains or IDs, pay Safecoin for programs or services, etc. That's where I think they will run into a problem. Will the average person be willing to buy a coin so they can store data or obtain other services, when they can either get that for free or use existing services? I don't think the average person would care about the decentralized aspect so much. Now if companies somehow became interested in the network, that could work ... just not so sure that will happen.

It is reasonable just to give chance to other who are interested but was still in other campaign. 5 days is pretty plenty to post at least 30 and qualify to PM campaign. And no one is forcing them to join the campaign, if they feel they can not manage to make 50 none spammy post then why not? If they can't then it is up to them to just abandon the idea.
True. Guess I meant my post more as a warning that he better start posting a lot, as there isn't much time.

Send them to paperwallet and forget it until 15 years later maybe you will surprise
Probably be surprised by the fact they are worthless. Or best case, he now has doubled his money, which is meaningless since it was such a small amount to begin with. I'd sell for btc, invest in a coin that has a chance to multiply (and if anyone states they know which specific coin to invest in, ignore them). And sign up for free bounties, which probably will earn more that the mighty 2 ltc will get anyway.

Just joined, I hope I'm not too late. Since it tells until August 8th, I told me that I should be fine, but maybe it's Filipino time and then I'm bad :/...
Yeah, not so sure you can get enough posts in to qualify. Guess they should have made the cutoff date a bit earlier.

is this coin dead ...pretty much seems like . can @dev reply with a good reply ...we all are waiting
I think he's doing pesobit stuff until its ico is over, so he can raise some btc, then plans to get back to chesscoin. Or at least that is what he stated earlier in the thread.

how this coin going now?
I tried to download the wallet but I got 0 connections to the network??
Maybe someone with a working wallet can send you some nodes to try. I expect they may be buried in this thread somewhere.

Yes, they had investors before 2014. They're selling around 6% of the company in this round. Uber is at round 17 or something. And even when companies are listed on the stock exchange they still sell some fresh printed shares now and then. Tesla has done it several times, but investors don't like it when a company is listed on the stock market. They rather have buybacks . Okay, not so bad then. I didn't realize this sale was only 6% or so.

Bojack Horseman ... most underrated show on netflix.
One has to get over the fact it's animated, and about talking animals... and the first couple of episodes aren't the greatest. It lures you into thinking it's a generic cartoon (ie Family Guy).
A lot of dark comedy that eventually sort of skips the comedy, and just turns really dark. It's really a show about depression.

¿ Any desktop PC chess app ?
I think after the pesobit ico thingy, assuming the dev makes any btc to work with, is when updates would occur. My first vote would be to update the website... at least provide something chess related there.

There is one thing I'm sure of about Ardor, the price will be higher than the NXT price and will continue to go up till the roadmap is achieved
Probably a safe bet. I'd expect to see the typical initial rise, falloff... then slow build, and eventual pump when they release the real thing... although in crypto time, waiting a year for something is like waiting 100 years for any other investment.

MaidSafe's funding begins on 12th September and runs for 30 days. The target is £1.75m-£2m which will be received in sterling and bitcoin. Nick Lambert, chief operating officer, MaidSafe told IBTimes UK: "This is a raise for equity as opposed to a coin sale. It's most certainly not crowdfunding. I may be confused, but didn't they also have early funding for all of those years of development, before they even did the Maid ICO (coin)? Just wondering how much of the company they even have left to sell anymore. After a certain number of funding rounds, one would think there wouldn't be much left to offer, or it turns into a Producers scenario.

thats it,
i sold all my chess coins, moving on to the next pos altcoin.
Guess it couldn't have been too many of them, as there isn't exactly a ton of volume on the coin.

@asriloni. It is becoming clear that the long time holders of NXT will be at the advantage here. Especially the ones who have some left over from their initial stake. It is like they have multiplied their coins by getting a fixed allocation of Ardor. Also the idea of the ones who only bought at the news of Ardor is to profit from NXT's rise and also from selling Ardor when it is distributed.
Pretty much. Logically it made the most sense to buy NXT as soon as Ardor was announced, just forget about it, get your full Ardor stake, then consider selling the NXT = cheap or free Ardor tokens. Probably smarter to hold the tokens for a year (or however long) until it's finally released.

Signature bounties planned for this coin, or no?
If there's an ICO, then yes. Okay, thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Took part in the freebie bounties for this, but haven't kept track since then. Have the devs actually done anything noteworthy since then?

As you know, the holders of NXT will receive Ardor Coins in a few months. How much will Ardor be worth?
Silly question... we'll find out soon enough. I think it'll take another year before they release the thing and not just tokens to see the real value.

If you are going to plan to go in trading make search or join in group that they talking about trading where and when to buy alt coin so that you can minimize your lose because if you have a group you can pump the coin you want to buy so that you guys can earn more thats the advice i can give you for now.
I don't think someone with $65 to invest is in a position to be part of a pump group.

Erm, why not buy and hold bitcoin? Altcoin trading is uber-risky, and you could very easily lose that $65. Some of these shitcoins have lost 99% of their value overnight, and they end up in the crypto graveyard on Yobit. Not to say that holding bitcoin is risky, because it is, but you could make money on it too. Just look at the pop we've seen in the last 8 hours.
Because $65 worth of btc might eventually, one day, become like $100 worth of btc. And really with such small amounts, who cares? Why even bother? So I can see the logic of 'investing' in altcoins, but would only suggest it to someone who is willing to throw away that $65 ... start off doing freebie stuff first, then a person will get a feel as to how this all works. Basically trust nobody, assume every coin is manipulated, most devs use 'questionable' methods, and so on. Doubtful any alt coin will have a real use, btc barely has a real use, and just view this all as a weird game.

I can do English->French translation and vice-versa! For now, the only thread I translated Is about ARK and got 10Bots for It. but still have to wait a long time until they generate income Do you have bounties to suggest? Just keep an eye our on the announcements for coins with bounties or giveaways. They always come up eventually. Again, I suggest you do some signature/twitter/facebook bounties. It'll be for crumbs most likely, but at least you'll get your feet wet as to how this all works, how exchanges work and so on. You can turn freebie crumbs into a decent amount of btc... I know, as that's how I started out.
