Nice. When master troll Hippie-Tech shows up you know things are heatin' up.
LOL - agreed - He pretty much trolls every coin I follow - and now this one. I have him on ignore so do that and it is much easier to get the important information.

Evan Duffield of Darkcoin has shown that he is willing to pay a developer to in essence abandon their coin instead of doing a proper takeover. Did he do that with Mr. Spread and Spreadcoin? I have no proof, but certainly think it's possible. I was also wondering the same thing but didn't want to start anything. If it is what has happened then we do not want Mr. Spread to be a part of this coin for obvious reasons.

Man... this is sad... I do have to come out of my rabbit hole and say something cause its really annoying.
As you all see, i dont post much, almost nothing in fact. I was one of the first DMD miners after the 1st evolution and soon, because of the strong team working on this coin, supporting it, became a small investor. Now i dont have time to mine, watch the forum everyday neither to follow different investment options concerning DMD. I just leave them in my wallet and wait for POS probably one day every fortnight. I did invest a couple of thousands at the wrong time... buying into BTC at a high point... liking DMD so much that i wanted to buy all possible in short term, managing only to cause some temporary inflation from what I lost even more. So,, lets say i'm not the more patient person on earth. Never the less, reading this forum I've learnt the true essence of DMD and realize how different this coin is from all others subjected to daily pumps and dumps.
Now trying to understand why so many users trolling... FUD is a strong weapon for investors - we've seen how easy it is to "persuade" others to dispose of their portfolio or acquiring a new useless one.. all for some troll's profit.
Back to beginning.... Man .. .this is sad... I, like so many other non participant forum readers, came here to keep up with DMD news just to find out that most of conversations are spoiled answering to TROLLS!
If u don't agree with something.. bring the issue up for everyone to discuss it... If you have any evidence of lack of ethics or bad intentions from the support team - share with us. but what has been shown here is just an example of trolling and myself as a user would love to see it moderated.
IF U ARE HERE JUST TO TROLL THEN PISS OFF
Tugaroo - I can't say I have ever seen you around but welcome from your rabbit hole! It is sunny and plenty of DMD's to go around. With that said the trolls never really have proof of anything. They rant and rave eventually hoping someone will hear what the have to say and react. I have been investing in the DMD dev team and coin for over 1 year now and I can honestly say I have never been duped, stolen from, or misled in anyway. All I can say is do your own homework and make an educated decision for yourself. The idiots that come on here and spout the same BS over an over again just go on my ignore list. I wish everyone else would do the same. It will get a lot cleaner on this forum. New people that come to this coin will be able to decipher the good stuff from the dog crap and hopefully they will put the dog crap on ignore too.

Can I ask everyone who pays in to say so in this thread; I could not find any reference to some of the inputs so cannot really put a name to the address. I assume they are from mining autopayments. How is Diamond V3 doing ? We should be ready to go for mass adoption after 1M PoW reduction.
There's no way V3 would be ready before 1million. As cryptonit mentioned right at the very beginning, any changes of this sort won't be realistically applied sooner than in a few months, given our resources. BTW. putting any date on this won't do any good, because there are so many factors that can impact the speed of development. I cannot comment on the current state but we are working on this. Once there's anything concrete to announce we'll do it. Popshot - the .00044266 is me too - it was from my mining profit. Partial payout from Nicehash. Thanks - Pokeytex

Maybe making a pool will bring Mr. Spread back in the mix...
There is a pool for a long time already... https://spr.suprnova.cc Just no one is mining this coin anymore.. There are people still mining just not on your pool. Yes, nethash and diff is so extremely low, Solo is possible Not only possible but preferable. I only run 1 gpu and I hit several blocks a day. You badass, you Not even sure why you keep the pool running. Currently all mining is like throwing money out of the window, it is a lot cheaper to buy as price is so ridicoulously low. Ill let the pool running because it is not making any trouble nor does it cost money. Maybe some crazy people want to start mining spr without the hassle of setting up anything for Solo... Possibly, but there has been a solid hashrate for some time. I think a farm or two knows something. or many people are like me and have free electricity on a rig or two Hehe or solar panels!

Maybe making a pool will bring Mr. Spread back in the mix...
At this point I don't want a dev back that can just walk away from his coin(of course unless he was injured or sick). I would much rather see what this new dev team is capable of.

I warned EVERYONE, MONTHS ago, that is was a ponzi and sold all 6600 DMD. Everything looked shady as hell.
Vegas
We didn't do too bad then price wise since you dumped 6600. I would have thought the price would have tanked.

this weekend second reactor payout round happens again over 1000 DMD
enjoy
Ty sir - was wondering what that big payout was.

The price is going down because there is no buy interest. If you look at the buy orders, there are way more bargain hunters with low ball orders in than serious buys, even at this massively reduced price.
Bargain hunters do not drive prices up, they drive them down.
Maybe now is the time for peeps to step up with the remaining .6 BTC so we can get some PR out there?

Holding or dumping at every pump Show me theese ppl who like the price drop. I am one who took advantage of the price drop. Have accumulated another 1500 DMD's or so. I simply don't understand why reinvesting 50% rather than 30% will suddenly make cloud mining profitable. Maybe I'm ignorant but following current and past cloud mining analytics appears to me to be an unprofitable venture. I know I personally would not deposit anymore BTC into major cloud mining websites for own BTC wallet, so I certainly wouldn't consider it a good idea for DMD. im no lawyer so i didnt find the right words in contract that would make the reinvest part flexible and adapt to the state of cloudmining business
Yes, this is unfortunate. But that is why you're asking us to voice our opinions, which is a good idea. The only way to change the contract would be for both parties to decide on the change mutually. We all have different opinions so discussion is good. My suggestion is to stick to the contract to avoid potential legal action by angry cloud share holders. Let me try to clarify this, after all this was partially my suggestion, to preserve profitability of the cloud and ensure its sustainability. I do this on my private cloud mining investments and it has been working so far. According to calculations based on current and expected difficulty growth, it takes minimum 50% reinvestment of monthly payouts to preserve our payouts level. What does that mean? For example, if you have 20 THs hash purchased from a specific cloud mining company and they generate 0.1 BTC per day. Mining difficulty adjusts twice a month, roughly 3.5% per adjustment, that is 7% in total on a monthly basis. This means we need to buy 7% of new hash every month only to be able to MAINTAIN the same payouts we ve been having so far. 7% on 20 THs is 1.4 THs. In order to purchase 1.4 THs new hash to maintain profitability we need to spend between 1.2 and 1.8 BTC, depending on efficiency of the miner, on average 1.5 BTC. Let us get back at the beginning, if our 20 THs makes 0.1 per day, that is 3 BTC per month and we need 1.5 BTC to keep the pace with the rising difficulty, so we need to reinvest 50% of our payments received. Again, this is simplified example but I wanted to show that we are transparent here and the only reason why I have suggested this is to preserve profitability of the cloud. Mining difficulty is very hard to estimated but I feel 7% monthly adjustment is something we should go for ATM. Since we actually reinvest 50%, in case monthly difficulty is below 7%, we will have our hashing power ENLARGED and by doing so, we will all have slightly better payouts. In case we do not do this, our payouts will decrease month after month due to the fact that we might be able to compensate difficulty increase only partially and it s going to eat into our initial investment until it devalues it completely. Cloud mining business is extremely competitive and we must find a way to stay in the game. I suggest we support option 2 as a community. As you can see, DMD team has always been transparent and we have always made our decisions together. In case someone s got some alternative option, I would really like to discuss it. I am all for 50% reinvest when it is explained like that. Makes much sense. - pokeytex

we are always good for a story in the end the diamond will shine bright everywhere If I dump 3-4000 DMD will shine at 100 satoshi Don't dump - I will buy them directly and give you 1000 satoshi each? Why settle for 100?

@cryptonit - Did we ever get sorted out from the chinese bitcoin mining company that was away on chinese new year? I don't recall seeing anything on that. Please advise. Thanks - pokeytex
no there is still no reinvest shares for February distributed because the payment didnt arrive from AMHASH1 over 20 thash we run at https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AMHASH1https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.msg10739094#msg10739094there is nothing we can do beside waiting amhash was considered in industry as one of most secure cloud mining companies because it was a join venture of two companies which build and sell mininghardware (asicminer and rockminer) as long as amhash dont pay we can stop reinvesting and keep payouts as we have now but with the risc that they maybe never pay and we have constant loss of earning power because no reinvest resulting in a end of payout generation not far away other path could be consider amhash as not existing until it come back (if it come back) and use from the leftover income sources bitcoins for reinvest this way we can maybe save longterm earning power but reduce payouts significant after this 6 months we had to analyze cloud setup i would like to change setting towards 50% reinvest from original 30% to keep at least the long term earning power alive even if weaker and to be able compensate such little catastrophes better also i would stop creating free invest shares to keep investing for new people possible what cloud investors think about this? basical we have only two ways 1.) people say we cant change rules because there is a contract and cloud will run as it does now weaker and weaker in payout until the end of operation or 2.) we adapt rules as suggested (50% reinvest no creation of reinvest shares) have instant reduced payouts but a realistic chance to get this into a long term income source for investors if u ask for my opinion i prefer lower payouts but a realistic chance to recover and have real long term payouts because of reinvest cycle runs better with 50% if u own no shares at cloud please let shareholder express their opinion first i want to read from the people which are affected primary please thx for ur understanding I am unsure since I don't have all of the facts. I invested in cloud mining primarily to have the constant flow of DMD's without having to monitor a rig setup to get them. I am in the middle of selling off all of my mining equipment which will make me completely dependent on cloud mining services. However I am getting uneasy in doing so because it seems like there is no recourse for these contracts. You either take them or lose them. (It seems). Correct me if I am wrong but I think we have now lost (2) cloud mining contracts plus the paycoin fiasco - correct? What does this represent in cloud mining investment lost? How much USD does it represent? How many additional cloud mining contracts do we have? Are the other contracts paying regularly and are they appearing solvent? If so and you think the remaining contracts are secure then I am ok with 50% to reinvesting and 50% returned to the miners. If they are wishy washy and you are unsure that they are going to keep paying I say divert our reinvest shares to some other tool to help implement support on the buy side. - pokeytex
