Is there going to be a Vanity Gen inside the wallet? Yes. Yessss!! I have been waiting for this for a long time! Which tab will it be in? Is Spreadcoin the first coin to have Vanity Gen inside the wallet? In the same place where you create New Addresses. It will let you decide if you want a vanity or normal address. Vanity addresses are then listed as "processing" until they can be used. It will not have "tabs" as you know them, but rather categories and subcategories. So expect a new mainmenu (left sidebar): One category is "wallet", another is "mining"... (soon there will be a category "servicenodes", etc..) Each mainmenu has its submenu section (that looks similar to the former "tabs") We need this additional structure because there are a lot of new "tabs" coming our way soon. (we can't fit them all in the tabgroup the way we got used to, it would look ugly and unordered.) +101 Getting a man crush LOL - getting more Spreadcoin!

Just curious - what ever happened with the BTC funds raised for the promotion event? Did we ever make the goal or are we still working on collecting? Any update is appreciated. - pokeytex
Nothing really happened to the funds yet. They are still at https://blockchain.info/address/1N3TNyPUGUtvk6KD3Gy6WdS8e9P6PmYzPg. As has been said before we wanted to have a new website before making any use of these funds. The initial plan was to use http://bitcoinprbuzz.com/services/ but when we did some asking around no one has heard or used it and some doubted this being legit (too good bang for the buck.) The alternative plan would be to use these funds to sponsor two articles at CoinDesk or CryptoCoinNews. The first article talking generally about Diamond and the second one more about the specifics and future plans. It's still up for the debate, so any suggestions are welcomed as to how to use the hard collected bitcoins. Anyway, the website is done (mostly) and we have already started promoting Diamond on many other forums which is a very hard task. The next logical step is to move forward with that Promotion to attract even more attention. Don't worry pokeytex, Diamond team is working hard Of course if anyone wants to chip in, the pot is always open. Contribute to the PR initiative ! 1N3TNyPUGUtvk6KD3Gy6WdS8e9P6PmYzPg

Thank you for the update Popshot. I never worry about you guys and where your loyalties are or your integrity. Not once has it ever crossed my mind. Keep up the great work. BTW - I run my wallet 24/7 for POS sake and security of the network. While I don't have a static IP - I do have a very stable network. My machine would have been running for a solid 45 days if it weren't for a reboot after an update I did. It is now almost 11 days straight. - pokeytex

I am staking, but mint no Amber.
I am pretty sure that the POS portion has not been activated yet. I believe it is going to be a new wallet release unless I am mistaking.

Ok then - I am now following this thread. Is traumschiff still a part of the project? He seemed very knowledgeable. Keep up the great work. - pokeytex

@AmberCoinDev - Will you be releasing any FPGA software at all in the future? Or will it be primarily a GPU only coin? Just curious. - pokeytex
At this point we didn't think about that. For now there are no plans to release any FPGA software. What will be in future - will see Ok - ty - one could hope!

@georgem - Question - Will there be an FPGA release for this coin or are we going to stay GPU? Thanks - pokeytex

Damnit to hell. I wish I had my BTC in C-Cex for that sell off. Good fortune to those of you that made out! I will be transferring some BTC shortly for the weak hands. Thanks.

Amber Trade LTD has closed one of its quarries In March of 2015 Amber Trade LTD has closed one of its quarries for industrial mining. Further, company’s staff has been mining remaining amber in manual mode during 2 months.
Now this quarry is completely worked out. Company has started measures to restore the environment. After a while there will be planted young forest. That is how full cycle of amber mining looks like. Amber Trade LTD cares about the environment unlike the black miners does.
That looks like a serious set-up. Also, looks like a lot of amber came out of there! :-)

I'm pleased to announce a refreshed version of the main website. https://bit.diamonds/It took a while due to perturbations along the way. Eventually we were forced to develop it in house. Let's treat it as ready for public consumption, but of course it's still work in progress - certain things need to be optimised in terms of speed and formatting. If you see any bugs please report. I know there is an issue with the way the slider is displayed in IE (below 11), but after doing traffic analysis, it's less then 1% of users so no need to spend time on fixing it. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it. Popshot - Awesome job! I like the movement on the screen. Very cool! -pokeytex

Does anyone happen to know what the hash rate will be on a mojo v3 fpga?

... { "balance" : 984913.017500, }
The trolling is strong with this one. I Love it So far, the known balances from 3 wallets is more than the current coin supply. LOL I was starting to feel very inadequate - then I remembered that I am extremely gullible! :-)

Instead of thinking about "wallet pool" and other ways to workaround the 10,000 coin limitation, maybe it is just better for the Dev to remove that limitation? "POS will not be usual - address will take part in staking only if its balance is over 10,000 AMBER." - explain why? Only to raise price, or there are other reasons? Not that I am against that, but just want to understand.
I see it as a milestone reward for getting to a certain level. Call it a minimum commitment before you can reap further benefits. Also with everyone nicely invested in the coin will only help the coin!

i think fb group more effective than bitcointalk forum to invite more people like Hz coin did, they make fb group too bitcointalk forum just effective to provide informations about Amber
Just don't forget about bitcointalk forum. Some of us (ME) are not folding to the pressure of FB.
