minerpp is cool
built onto a raspberry pi no problem...... just because it could !!!!
hashing against the arm cpu..... very low hashes (as you would expect on a pi cpu) but you get the point
A breeze to compile and run
<--snip-->
well done John
and thanks to xCore
might try fpga next.... if I can find one for free / cheap
Any chance you could show us a tutorial on how to upload to a Rpi? or Fpga? It's only running against the pi onboard cpu - no fpga yet The process for pi is same as any linux 1. update the pi to 4.7 or better gcc / g++ (if you are on jessie it's already done but you have to update on wheezy - you can google how) 2. clone the source using git clone 3. run ./build_linux.sh in the minerpp folder Once I find an fpga I am going to try - will update on here if I am successful Which R Pi did you run it on?

I can vouch for donkeypool. They have been around and part of other coins I am in. -pokeytex

Is anyone working on a way to get Spreadx11 working on an FPGA? I could use a drop in power consumption. :-) Would donate for a .bin.

Damn - second page.
I was out jogging. Anyway - congratulations Georgem on all your hard work. Ever since Mr. Spread left I was unsure where this would lead. I applaud your and the communities hard work and can't wait to start testing Servicenodes again! :-)

So, if the electricity costs will be much lower than with GPU, the price of vnl will not go higher, than it's now (during GPU minning). Am I right?
Impossible to predict, maybe something else will change the market. So what's a point to allow FPGA's minning VNL? A lower electric bill. that will not happen. difficulty will go up until it's barely profitable to mine with fpga, or even higher. that's how it works: if there is money to be made, people will come and mine, until difficulty is so high that someone must leave. it balances itself. Maybe the point is to secure the network. No, the point is probably that the only people who can mine anything profitably with GPUs are farms that pay an extremely low subsidized price per kwh (or use subsidized solar panels). So, let's move this coin to FPGA farms :-D Or... They may be mining it already.... The only purpose is being ahead of them for some days. Or the people who pay for more powerful optimized miners in the earlier days reaping in much more profit with their farms compared to others. Private VNL GPU miners might even be optimized to hit the 1Gh/s mark. i guess it won't worth to mine VNL by GPUs when FPGA released (with more hash rate, low energy consumption) Does anyone have a recommendation on a high powered FPGA to purchase?

We are #1 on Cryptsy voting again. Maybe it is possible we could get listed this week? If anyone else has any BTC or Cryptsy points to throw at it - now might be the time.

Well now. This totally went under the radar! Congratulations community!

I am a layman and not sure I understand. Did John create an FPGA download? Does this mean I can purchase a few FPGA's and install his code and it will work? Please advise. No techhie here. Sorry. -pokeytex

DMD Multipool and DMD Cloudmining finished converting BTC to DMD and everyone should have recieved the DMD by now
will try to do a reactor payout round today too
i can see market react positive to fixed cryptsy deposit/withdraw buyorderbook fills nice
lets see if the expected slow but continious value rise after POW reward reduction now will become visible
Thanks for the update. Nice surprise in my wallet this morning! Good day all. -pokeytex

Hey all,
When are you guys going to get on a respectable exchange? I have BTC on Bittrex, Polo and would buy into DMD in a heartbeat. Not on cryptsy though, they've straight up stolen coins from me before.
i think poloniex consider adding us maybe write there a coin request https://poloniex.com/coinRequest to make the decision easyer for them but regarding cryptsy i have to say over all the years they where a very loyal partner (yes they had some wallet went on fork issue and are getting things right now but i think its a quality sign if a exchange strict follow security protocols and dont use presynced chains and instead sync from 0 at highest possible security settings just i would love they make then of such a save stand a own fallback snapshot so not need to repeat everytime there are issues) i have nothing against getting DMD on more exchanges but i dont share ur oppinion about cryptsy not doing legit business if a support ticket did go wrong just use the trollbox (chat included on cryptsy exchange) and get in touch with blue names (moderators) they will take care the support ticket get another look by cryptsy support team if u give them the #ticketnumber I have to agree with Cryptonit. I have been using Cryptsy from the beginning and have never experienced any issues that weren't resolved quickly. I would give it a go again if you had a ticket that wasn't resolved.

Thanks George! Can't think of anything right now personally...
Thanks for your patience... BTW here's a sneak peak to how the website will look like: The new ANN thread title will simply be: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize EverythingGeorgem - I must say I do like the look of the home page! Well done! Also, congratulations to all that have kept this coin going. - pokeytex

What's going on here ?, my wallet has a different block that appears in https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd and this is from four days ago. because it goes the other way? checkwallet true checkwallet would say true if u still have the bad blockchain checkwallet and repairwallet have only effect if u fix ur blockchain basically sync the transactions stored in wallet.dat with the transactions in blockchain I understand, but it's the second time this has happened in two weeks. something is working wrong. I had already downloaded the .zip with blocks and now again fails My wallet seems to be just fine. I am running the conf file exactly like Cryptonit suggested. Apparently this coin has no support. 2 weeks down the .zip and lost 600 dmd. Now another fork again lose 400 dmd more. settings is as suggested, Cryptonit. and yet my wallet goes one way and the other goes https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/. I think I came up here, no support is impossible to continue. You are a bit premature. There is nothing but support on this coin. You are crying at the first bit of an issue. This is not kindergarten. Please be patient.

Well first and foremost I have been watching Amber since the beginning. I sat on the sidelines after being burning on the CCEX ICO scam - Stable Coin. :-( I must say that I have been impressed with the constant dev feedback and the overall community support for this coin. I have taken the last week in a half to start mining and accumulating this coin. My main wait was to see if people actually got paid their dividend. I am happy to say I am now an Amber holder. - pokeytex

Just checking in to make sure this is the correct conf to run still:
listen=1 noirc=1 addnode=193.68.21.19 addnode=54.191.208.14 addnode=54.255.133.30 addnode=54.86.164.216 addnode=193.136.97.30 addnode=193.136.96.30 bantime=3600 maxconnections=50
This is what I have been running. I am only POS minting since the start of the new wallet. It has been open 24/7. Difficulty and blocks seem ok.

congrat for those who got dividens at the next payment ,i hope still get the dividens I am sure Q2 2015 company's profit will be higher than Q1. So dividends should be higher as well. please share on here when you pay the dividens,. so we know that its true and i hope the people who got paid can share too Sure. We will mark "Paid" in front of IDs who has been paid already in the "Amber Trade LTD Q1 2015 Dividends" table. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FrjKfx9EEblNpoMScDY-HFO1Vy2qcKX09d_u2SgQBAQ/edit?usp=sharingwhen i saw at the table there is difference between shareholders the shareholder who have 10k,they got dividens 39,47 then other shareholder who have 10k they got dividens 40,26,then there is 35,82 etc.. can you explain to us about this My guess is that it has something to do with the number of days they held the shares?

Holy crap - I am a minting mofo. Is it normal to mint much more frequently now - like a lot of times in one day? In disclosure I do hold a decent load of DMD's for a long time now. I am guessing all of my piles are breaking up to smaller ones more frequently? just until network have enough competition for the new blocktime then again some coins pile wont be able to mint below 30 days coin age and merge together with outer old coin pile when it finally mint a nice auto regulating system that make sure network always have enough competition for a secure pos difficulty but no endless split of coin piles but overall yes coin pile size will become smaller and amount of pos blocks u create will be more in the end it make no difference regarding pos earnings it will be still 50% a year Ty for the info.
