Heya's
Good to read there might be some recovery here, is Version2 still moving along?
also
Is there currently anyway to sync the old 0.8.9.9 wallet?, I've not had a wallet installed for a while and after a recent format i decided to use a wallet backup which seems to list my transactions and such just no balance which i figured (with my little knowledge of how wallets work) that i just need to get up to the latest block. but i dont seem to connect to anything for this download to happen and even going through all the extra nodes listed on the previous few pages of this thread i dont connect to anything just Method not found (code -32601) continuously.
Thanks
It's not possible to sync with wallet 0.8.9.9 - there are no live nodes and even if they were it would lead to the wrong fork. Please wait for the new wallet release, hope to put it up soon but I still have to run some tests and make a few final changes to the code.

Wow, 2.135 million super huge dump on bittrex

Enourmous dump on bittrex
Yes about 800k got dumped by someone. This coin needs a roadmap and some active development. Ill be happy to donate 50k TrK to somekind of development plan. 900k was dumped at bittrex TRK needs some promotion, advertising on social media, etc. to get the price to the level it deserves. I do wallet and other tech stuff but i'm not good at marketing and can't handle everything by myself.

also everytime i run the repair wallet it goes into not responding and then clears up.
Repairwallet takes a lot of resources for a big wallets (with lots of blocks, transactions, etc.) so the client hangs for some time. It is normal behavior, similar for all coins.

May I also request that a multisend/s4c feature be considered.
It's on todo list

Hi, Noise23!
Can you please add a semi-automated SplitBlock function(just like HyperStake has) to the next release of TRK wallet? This function would be good for the fast splitting large amounts that just from exchanges.
I have to look into it, probably will do.

OK - I am installing the new wallet. I am going to use this time to move the wallet to a different PC. What the best way. Install the new wallet, let is sync, then move over the wallet.dat file?
Yes.

Wallet staked a few days back, now it says almost all my balance is "Staked" and it's out of sync
I always have my wallet up and running, 24/7 - I thought it helped with the network.
So ... your saying I've got to reload the whole blockchain now?
I don't know why it would have been out of sync, it never goes offline.
Try to delete peers.dat and restart the wallet. immediately returned - "wallet check passed" is it supposed to do something else? Delete peers .dat? What's the latest wallet version? The latest version is 2.2.1.0 Did you delete peers.dat and restart? I have deleted the peers.dat and restarted. It show 2 active connections. Pretty much the same as the last 3 days. I am running version 2.0.1.0 v2.0.1.0 is obsolete, please upgrade to 2.2.1.0

Looking to have this running 24/7 on a PI 2.
I've downloaded the pre compiled wallet in the OP but when I try and run it.. nothing happens. Any help?
linux noob warning.
Probably it does not start because of some missing or different version libs. Please try to build the wallet from the source. Linux wallet build instructions:Install packages: sudo apt-get install qt4-qmake libqt4-dev build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev Install git: Clone the source code to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/noise23/Truckcoin Go to Truckcoin directory: And finally: and To build on PI you have to edit Truckcoin.pro file and delete lines 126 and 127: QMAKE_CXXFLAGS += -msse2 QMAKE_CFLAGS += -msse2

Hey guys my wallet seems to be stuck on block 817956 and has been for a few days. I have wallet version 2.2.1.0. Never had this happen before, so any help would be appreciated. First post on BCT but been a Tek supporter for awhile now Couple of things to try before doing anything radical. Given the limited information you gave us, I may be treading ground you already have covered. First, if you haven't already done this, exit the client. File ->exit if you are using Qt, or Tekcoind stop if you're using the daemon. (Tekcoind.exe for windows, I think. I use Ubuntu for the most part) Then restart it and see if it's working. If that don't get it, try to get some of the nodes listed in the thread. In the console, it's addnode <ip> add. Or just put addnode=<ip> in your tekcoin.conf file. If none of that works, first, make damn sure you have a good backup of your wallet.dat file, and your tekcoin.conf file if present, then delete everything in the data file. Either download the latest bootstrap and put it in your data directory, or just sync from zero. First way is faster, second is safer (in theory). Copy your tekcoin.conf file back in, launch the client and let it sync. When it's fully synced, delete the new wallet.dat file and copy your old one in, again restarting the client. I'll be available tomorrow (friday) at least part of the time if you need further help. Just PM me. Or Thundertoe, or Noise23 In fact, quite a few people in the thread can help you if they're willing. Good luck! Thank you for taking the time to reply. I already tried exiting and restarting, but it's still stuck in limbo. Also it looks like I have a weak connection to the network, and have never had that before. I will try some of the nodes tonight and see if that gets er done. If I'm still having trouble I'll PM you, and the advice is much appreciated. On another note, it looks like my coins did stake, but the wallet is still out of sync and the staked coins have not moved to my balance yet. If your wallet did stake while out of sync there is no other option but to delete blockchain files and re-sync from the scratch. Never stake on unsynced blockchain - wallet will go to its own fork and will be unable to sync with the network. Will do. I don't know what happened but I'll back up my wallet and try again. Thanks for all the help guys Please make sure wallet is not staking while syncing. I'd suggest to encrypt the wallet and unlock it for pos only when synced, or sync with a new empty wallet.

PoS is better than PoW, for sure. The team behind Rimbit figured that out a long time ago. Instead of trying to wake to life your dead coin, you could put your energy to work for Rimbit, an already fully working crypto currency.
Could you please go spam your rimbit somewhere else? Growthcoin is not dead, dev is here and working on getting on exchange.

I think there is no need for rebranding. GrowthCoin is here for the long time, it has a history and name change would not help at all.

is it a Mac OS X version? or just the source?
He has built Windows, Mac, Linux. All work great. Who is "he"? It's not me. ARE YOU SERIOUSLY GOING TO SAY THAT??? WHY ARE YOU NOT GOING TO RELEASE IT NOW? IT WORKS GREAT AND YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU WOULD RELEASE IT ONCE I TESTED IT. I TESTED IT AND NOW YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RELEASE IT??? WTF MAN? ?? What are you talking about?? I have no idea who you are and never had any conversation with you. Again, the latest wallet version is 2.2.1.0, beware of the pre-built "new" wallets from unknown source.well in this case i would say ban him till its sorted out , tek is still in recovery , thundertoe pls take action , biomech help Just found out he's been pushing the same "new walet" crap with SILK and probably some other coins. Smells like malware.

New wallet is 3.0.0.1
I can post a link but the dev should do it in the OP so people know it is legit.
Where did you get it from? I didn't release any new TEK wallet versions yet. The latest wallet version at the moment (at least from me) is 2.2.1.0
