Well, the coin is definitely broken at the moment.
Blockchain moves extremely slow and it's impossible to find a block.
We need a fix from developers.

I been mining for almost a he at 4 mhz i havent seen no rewards yet Cry
It's because of extremely slow blocks. We need DistroCoin devs to look into it...
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN RELEASE / SCRYPT / POW / PATCHED KGW / 100 Million Total on: May 12, 2014, 10:10:55 PM
Well, 2.5 hours ago blockchain height was 168, now it's 180. Only 12 blocks were added in 150 min which is around 12.5 minutes per block, definitely not 60 seconds Sad
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN RELEASE / SCRYPT / POW / PATCHED KGW / 100 Million Total on: May 12, 2014, 08:41:14 PM
0 coins (estim 5 coins) after 2 hours mining with 3 Mh. ?

http://distro.acidpool.com/

It looks like actual block time is 4 min and not 60 seconds as announced. Right now current network avg. time per block is 4 minutes 15 seconds. It takes much more time to get 4 min blocks, we need to ask the dev why it's not 60 sec Smiley
Right now someone solo mining at around 50MH/s, we need some more hashpower at the pool to find blocks faster.
where are you getting that 4 min 15 seconds ? , if you mean from acid pool , i think that's cause that pool is retarded , cant even connect to it

LOL you just thought that coin is stuck at 174 and now you don't believe it's 4 min per block?
It's not stuck, blocks just extremely slow - now it's at 175

Current time per block is 4+ minutes - that's why blockchain is only at 175 yet.

acidpool runs fast, if you can't connect there is something wrong at your side.

Any working pools with miners?

The only working Distrocoin pool at the moment is http://distro.acidpool.com/

I had to stop the pool as at 8:00 findblock routine still find block height 471794 forever (it was an already find blocks).

Most of the case this is due to fork, the other to findblock (it need to delete that blocks to recover, but in this case it not help).

For recover I have to change the server wallet with a new one and move money from old to new and for this I need a secure computer, so I can do that operation only this night.

So, I start to download the blockchain from scratch, to be sure that if this was due to a fork, it fixes the problem.

Sorry for the trouble, but with this low difficulty an involontaire fork can happen.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today. I've been mining a little on my private server and findblock got screwed up somehow, kept finding the same block 471757.
Not sure if it was a fork, looks like server blockchain was at correct blockheight.
Re-downloaded blockchain and started with clean new wallet, everything went back to normal.

We need an updated wallet asap and then a new good looking RE-ANN topic.
Then we will be able to push GRW to some major exchange and get GRW really growing.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TEKcoin PoS/PoW on Cryptsy! 30 days 40% interest! on: May 08, 2014, 01:41:34 PM
Thanks. Unfortunately, I could not sync my wallet on Windows despite letting it open the whole night. I since created a tekcoin.conf file on APPDATA\tekcoin with the following informations (I used my mintcoin conf file changed the port commented the def part which made the wallet crash and replace the nodes):

I will wait 30 minutes to see how it goes. Opinion? Notice Windows is in a VM with shared internet connection

Currently there is some bug in the code and new wallet installations can't sync properly.
For the time being you need to download the initial download of the block chain here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0M-bp2HC0eYdXlqc0RQWkFFRnc/edit?usp=sharing
Put that into your appdata folder and start syncing from there (check the OP).

there is anyone want to upload the current new blockchains, and we can download the newest blockchains.

my wallet has only one connection and syncs slow.

I put a copy of blockchain here - http://acidpool.com/misc/grwchain_may_07_2014.rar
This is a fresh GRW blockchain file for May/07/2014.
Will keep it there and also will setup a node soon.

So with the non communication of CoinEx, I guess we need another (and BETTER) exchange to make some trades with this coin

GRW just added to Allcoin https://www.allcoin.com/trade/GRW_BTC

Downloaded compiled windows version from https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwGL9FkcBurERmZCZVktV253Nkk/edit?usp=sharing - it has new logo but no coin control ?
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC]AsiaCoin - Version1.0.0.1 Released - Please Upgrade your wallet on: May 01, 2014, 01:50:44 PM
You guys talk like the dev is missing for day's and week's at a time im guessing he has a life outside of this place.

we are talking of million dollars market cap, someone should take responsibility here

You have no idea what crypto is all about do you? What responsibility are you talking about? LOL
It's all about the community not the dev.

may be we should get more nodes?

Just ordered a new server for some projects, next week I will setup a node for GRW there.

Fortunactly not needs to download the blockchains again Smiley
Pool running again.

Right now my miner shows your pool as dead and can't mine, looks like not completely fixed...

autovoting machines on mintpal ensure the ballot box is stuffed in their favor. I've never even heard of 365coin, yet it has over 98k votes.

Mintpal's coin voting system is totally weird.
They disabled my account today, told me that I'm a bot and removed all my honest manual votes.
Heavily autovoted shitcoins still live happily at the top of the list though.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mintpal, my wierd feeling on: April 28, 2014, 01:59:55 PM
Mintpal can't be trusted at all. Their coin voting list is all fishy, I just found that they killed all my votes without any reason. All of them were honest manual votes. Today they steal your votes, tomorrow they can steal your coins.
