Feaure request :
Auto POS unlock/lock feature depending on current POS diff.
Could you add this in the wallet ?
Would make life a lot easier to unlock at the right time for max reward and to close again when not max reward.

It would just cause a mess with POS minting. When diff is low all wallets would unlock and start minting driving diff to high levels, then lock all together because of that so diff will drop rapidly, then unlock again, etc. I get your point, but what you are trying to prevent will happen anyway since only a fool would unlock his wallet when diff gives low reward. And whether this is done manual or automatically has not much impact if any at all. Or am I missing something ? I'm a fool then, i just keep all my PoS coins wallets unlocked for minting all the time, don't care about the diff/reward at all  That autounlock feature can make coin network extremely unstable, it's hard to predict the consequences. Blockchain can just stuck somewhere at high diff when all wallets get locked. It's very critical for PoS only coin. |

I minted a block but so far still no confirms , after more than 2 hours , I have 6-7 peers only, n I'm use windows wallet .
TRK is PoS only so there are some slowdowns on the network when no new PoS blocks minted for a long time. Your block will confirm soon, 6-7 peers is enough. So I make txt file write the command than rename it to truckcoin.conf, correct ?
Yes, and put it into data directory where wallet.dat is. With windows wallet it's easier to set split threshold in Settings > Options. Is the splitthreshold=xxx still max at 300?
Yes. The reason for this limit is to get more blocks and avoid network slowdowns. |

Split threshold can be set in gui client in Settings > Options tab or you can add splitthreshold=xxx line to truckcoin.conf file. There is no need to add seed node manually, seed nodes already hard coded in TRK client. |

Where can I find the TEK.conf file?

Correct file name is tekcoin.conf , you have to create it in the data directory (where wallet.dat is) only if you need to add some parameters, nodes, etc. |

Is the 1010 threshold = to 1010 TEK? Is there some advantage to having it set to 1010?? Is there a reason there is a limit to the block size threshold??
The reason to block size threshold limit is to keep a decent amount of PoS blocks rolling onto network. If you want bigger blocks, just combine them manually with coin control. |

Ok. Good to know a reason why. If anyone's working on the next wallet... a "setstakesplitthreshold" command function like in HYP that auto combines stakes would be outstanding. And a return of S4C too. Just suggestin... New TEK wallet already has that  The command called "splitthreshold", can be set up to 1010 (there is a limit to keep blocks reasonable small). So add "splitthreshold=1010" into TEK.conf? Yes, add "splitthreshold=1010" to tekcoin.conf Can it be set to any number "splitthreshold=xxxx"? It can be also set to any number below 1010, 1010 is a max limit. If you set it above 1010 actual split threshold will be 1010. |

Hi Guys, it seems the TEK block explorer http://tek.blockx.info/ is down for quite some time now. Probably due to the recent hick-ups I guess. Any idea when it will be available again? blockx.info owner is not active recently and the server is pretty unstable. We will setup an official block explorer soon. |

Yes it's safe to stake now. Sometimes it can stake an orphan but will re-stake again in that case. |

9 orphans out of 10 blockes mined. Thats not right. Thoughts?
Autocheckpointing should help with orphans but it's not enabled yet because there are still too many old version clients in the network. Currently we are waiting for more people to upgrade to the latest version. |

Hi,
Just managed to get my wallet synced to 145056 then the green bar comes up and it trying to sync to 147--- , this is the height of Hyperstake saying I have 2170 blocks to go. Running latest windows qt on win 8.1. This only happens once 7+ connections are established.
Note I do not have hyperstake wallet on my win8.1 machine.
Is this something to do with ports since previous threads state 18777? instead of of 18775?

Update: Wallet out of sync and downloaded 145172 of 147325 of transaction history,but i have minted 94 confirmations broadcast through 13 nodes. 157.369863 truckcoins.
Actually your wallet is synced and minting good, it just shows "out of sync" because you have HYP clients with a longer blockchain connected for some reason. Nothing to worry about, TRK has autocheckpointing enabled and will stay on the correct chain. I just added a fix to the source code, it should prevent HYP clients interference. Will post an updated windows wallet later today. |

"try and error" method will not work here - max reward cap requires a hard fork so the number will be set for a long time - we can't hardfork too often I see two main reasons for capping max reward - 1. it will encourage people to split to smaller blocks - more blocks means healthier network and faster blockchain. 2. those who just keep their wallets offline for months and then open them once for stake will not get a huge reward anymore - helps with inflation control and encourage people to stake more often - healthier network again. And please... - Decrease minted block confirmations (25-30) (TEK or HYP).
- Add ''splitthreshold'' TruckCoin.conf command (TEK).
- Add -wallet=<file> (Specify wallet file (within data directory)) commandline switch (e. g. JPC).
- Add "Immature" and "Consolidated Balance" to "Overview" tab. (ORB).

How do I lock my new wallet?
You can lock the wallet with 'walletlock' command in the console. Will add lock wallet option to the wallet menu in the next build. |
