Hi Guys, I've been away for a while and just scanning through the threads to find that Child_Harold has been found to be a fraudster. Foolishly i sent him some BTC for IOTA a while back. Do we know if anything can be done about this or should i just suck it up as it was my mistake. First and last time that will happen. I just saw that he was a high-ranking member and assumed he would be legit.
we warned MANY times in the thread that this piece of shit (and cryptoknightt too) were scammers. Si I guess it should be your mistake. Anyway a part of his fund are frozen and under control of devs, but I don't know how they want to do to redistribute. |

Cfb told me I needed to reach out to David with my seed+address which I did, but haven't heard back from him yet (I have an address that was generated with the old address generator).
Is this still manual or can the new client take care of this for me? Is there a deadline for when this needs to be sorted out by?
don't worry, David said that every claim will be processed no matter the deadline. edit: I mean every claim done before the deadline will be processed even if it's after the deadline. But claim done after the deadline will not be processed. |

You can sell your IOTAs at YDX. If you just bought your coins they are still at ydx so you could just sell now for a nice win , you are pathetic if you are crying like this when you can sell now and have the btc + the profit in your wallet in 2 houzrs Sniff sniff...I'm sorry, you are right. I will stop complaining. It's just that all the other cryptos have spammers, attackers, haters, competitors, and trolls, while IOTA has none of that. Everybody loves IOTA and nobody hates it. Why? I was going to dump my iota on Yassin DEX until I heard about the MAM, private trannys, and Oracle feed support which my generous foundation donation funded, so I guess, I will hold on loosely and don't let go. Every other crypto community has trolls, haters, and spam attackers except for us... And the bitter irony is that our community welcomes spammers with love and affection, yet they don't pay us any attention. Maybe if we paid them, then they would come here and hate on us. Let's try. What if we start a completely grassroots 100% community funded foundation (like how we all funded the IOTA Foundation like a family), but this time, the money raised will go toward funding the most infamous attackers and spammers. If we all pitch in just a little, then maybe we could raise enough money to get the DAO attacker, or maybe the guy who hacked Mt. GOX, or maybe the agents who took the bitcoins for themselves. If I understand correctly, the cap of IOTA at the present price ~20 micronBTC is about 60,000 BTC. Is that right? Looks no much profit room.  Yes, it seems overbought for the time being. Its listing effect. ydx exchange works as good as any other major exchange (or even better in pumping sense) so everybody wanted to buy iota can buy it now. Are you kidding? 60k = #12 cmc. Dash is at 758.200 BTC. THATīS overbought! IOTA is somewhat uncertain that might be better than byteball to the general public. So, 20'000 btc marketcap is way more legit these days (while BB has 10'000). I agree that there is still a large risk for buying IOTA as it is still uncertain. It stands at a high price but with an unsure future. that's the essence of investing: the more risk the more profit. |
