Si ca vous concerne, merci à me contacter.

L'histoire détailé est ici sur reddit : https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/77sjk4/bnpparibas_is_closing_all_my_bank_accounts/

An open invitation from Anoncoin for developers

Anoncoin was created in June of 2013 with the objectives of providing a cryptocurrency that could support an eventual crackdown by hostile authorities, all while providing strong privacy for its users. The development team added the capability of sending network traffic over the i2p darknet that hides the physical location of the user, and they have worked towards the goal of anonymizing transactions on the block chain with a method that does not rely on trusted third parties.

The Anoncoin developers have always opposed all forms of censorship and have a long history in leading internet privacy initiatives. Some have strong affinities to the ideals espoused by Anonymous, some have a natural distrust/disgust of central banking practices, and others simply care strongly in the ideal of keeping their activities private, whether legal or not. As a reflection of the core values of the developers, Anoncoin was released in a fair and transparent manner. There was no "instamine", and an extremely small premine that was required for technical reasons was returned nearly immediately to the community.

The Anoncoin development team was never composed of full time employees, surviving off of the dubious practices associated with many of the recently introduced cryptocurrencies. Instead, the development team has always consisted of volunteers that shared the strong values associated with the coin. Some of the earliest volunteers remain with the coin today, others have moved on to other projects, and new volunteers have since joined the team.

Today, the future of Anoncoin is threatened by the small number of core developers, whose number fluctuates in an often unpredictable manner. Each developer has real world commitments that affect the amount of time that can be dedicated to developing Anoncoin, and it has been necessary to put the development of some ambitious features (such as Zerocoin) on hold because of these commitments. To assure the survival and long life of the coin, and to release key new features in a timely manner, the Anoncoin team is asking for new volunteers from all backgrounds to help in a part-time manner on developing core aspects of the Anoncoin software.

We have several ambitious development plans: To secure the block chain against attack, we would like to introduce a proof-of-work algorithm involving several chains, and to develop a new difficulty alforithm based on a proportional–integral–derivative controller. To incentivize miners to secure the block chain, we would like to introduce merged mining. To assure anonymity on the block chain, we would like to introduce a trustless mechanism for anonymizing transactions, such as through Zerocoin or any other algorithm that does not rely on trusted third parties. For ease of use, we would like to incorporate an i2p router directly into the Anoncoin client. Finally, we would like to add services to Anoncoin, and increase the number of places that Anoncoin can be used.

If you are interested in contributing to Anoncoin, please contact us.

The Anoncoin developers

Here is a portion of my contact with BTC38. I leave it to you to judge if they are being honest or not. Unfortunately, the history isn't long enough to see the beginning portion. Needless to say, I won't be using their exchange again.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: November 12, 2015, 01:46:43 PM
The BTC38 admins are incompetent.

I contacted them personally 10 days ago about this problem. At first, they didn't acknowledge that there was a problem, then they said that they contacted the ANC team. When I told them that I am part of the development team, they said that they didn't know how to contact us. When I told them that we have a web site with an email address (anoncoin.net), they said that the web site was down. Then they said it was not their problem to fix. Then they said they were fixing it. Then five days passed with no progress. I repeatedly told them to either restart their client, or to redownload the blockchain using the command anoncoind -reindex.

So, BTC38, like most other large exchanges, is not to be trusted.

I encourage you all to use exchanged.i2p instead.

Got reply from BTC38 about the blockhain being divided into two parts, is this possible?

Dear Friends: Hello, I'm sorry, ANC block bifurcation, then you need to fix to query, but please be patient. To bring you the trouble, I am sorry, please forgive me.
(11-11 10:18)

hello! Meaning is divided into two chains, itself is only 1 block chain, don't know which one is correct. Now we are waiting for the official repair, after repair complete you can resume normal return. To inconvenience you, I'm terribly sorry.
(11-11 17:20)

sounds like they are saying that anoncoin has been forked or it could be he is referring to the i2p and clearnet network, translation if pretty bad though so not 100% sure.

Anoncoin has not been forked, there have been no recent releases to fork over. I2P network is connected to the clearnet network by bridged nodes, so this is not an issue either. Maybe the chinese govt firewall is blocking them out from the rest of the network?

Ask him what the results are from "getconnectioninfo" and what is his config and version?

It appears that their client is stuck on an orphaned block. If they restart their client, the problem should solve itself. In the worst case they just need to rebuild their blockchain.

2. confirms reward?
3. minimum age till coin maturity?
4. average reward?

My guess is that the developers are silent for a while, then buying in, then release something to github = profit Smiley I have seen this for so many coins and it is a way for devs to earn some money
All discussions between the developers are public record on IRC.

Hi Mullick,

Could you let me know exactly which version of anoncoin you are using (including the github commit hash)? With our DNS seeders, I'm surprised that you are having problem with clearnet peers.

Cheers,

Tomothy,

The reason that development has been so slow is that there are only a few people actively involved with the coin.

If you could provide us with a list of your skills, I am sure that we could find something for you to do.

what i saw on the exchanges is that the majority of volume which keeps ANC in the Top100 list comes
from China ANC/CNY.
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/coins/show/anc

So i dont understand why BTER did not openend a ANC Market since their are from China too.
That would be great since BTER is the second largest multicoin exchange after Cryptsy.

Add ANC to BTER vote list Smiley

I doubt any exchange would be interested right now based on length since last release, lack of volume and history of some exchanges freezing or delisting the coin for codebase problems
Anoncoin works fine on ExchangeD.i2p

no issues with codebase or withdrawal delays

Great news!  Forgive the noob question, but is there a guide for using i2p?
From the Anoncoin wiki: How to install and use I2P
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ANC] Launching AnonCoin - Prebuilt Windows binaries. Not PRE-mined. on: July 18, 2015, 06:52:39 AM
can any of the other coins be used with TOR and those other ones like ip2 etc?  is this the first coin that is specifically designed for use with this kind of thing?

1. ANC was the first to integrate I2P with a SAM bridge
2. I am not aware of other coins with native I2P integration yet
3. Any coin can be configured to use I2P or TOR manually

ANC development has been extremely slow and the original developers have left.

I now believe that Monero is the best privacy option in crypto that exists today.

Peter Todd, Greg Maxwell and other bitcoin core devs seem to be of the same opinion
https://twitter.com/petertoddbtc/status/622022840330682368
Just to correct one point: The original developers have not left. It is quite likely that Gnosis will not be working on Anoncoin in the future, but K1773R is still with us, and if you would join us on irc, you would see that Meeh is back and contributing.

As I've said before, Monero is probably the best option if you need increased privacy, but what Monero is offering is only a temporary solution. Ring signatures are not the future of crypto.

Groundrod is actually pushing most of his work, as requested by the community...  Smiley

https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/pull/80

Well, from the spectators eye I'd say work was being done.
This surprises me Smiley
We are honest people here Smiley

Also, what has been pushed is only a small fraction of what he has been working on lately.

"nothing new in 4 months:
https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/tree/develop"

Best to stick to the facts rather than trying to get in early. Nothing new in 4 months seems pretty self explanatory. Someone was hyping ANC to me big time back with the Zerocoin stuff, none of it real, all BS. I won't buy in again until there is new code and a good reason. I think it has a good name though, and sort of a first mover advantage.

The coin had a first mover advantage in 2013. Development delays are normal in crypto but this has gone on too long...

Lack of ANC github activity has caused me to lose hope of any Zerocoin implementation. CryptoNote exists, the future is now. #XMR #BBR

Tweeted to 1000+ followers
Cryptonote has existed for a long time, and even though it provides good privacy, I don't believe that anyone believes cryptonote is the future of cryptocurrency. It is a good intermediate solution to use until something better like zerocoin comes along.

Concerning Zerocoin, we have repeatedly stated since the gnosis debacle that zerocoin is not our first objective. There will be no zerocoin development until after we get the next release out. Please look at the development schedule here: https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Development_schedule As you see, after the the next release, we plan to first implement multi-POW and probably merged mining. It is my opinion that this will be fairly easy to do compared to what we are working on now. I don't know how long it will take to implement zerocoin, but something like 6 months time would probably be required. Add this to the time it will take us to get the next two releases out and do the math. If you are waiting for zerocoin this year, you have no one to blame but yourself.

And what do you mean by "first-mover advantage"? Are you some kind of investor/speculator? If so, the development team does not care about you. We have stated that repeatedly. All that we care about is the technology and the fact that is ANC is being used.

Finally, I hate to disparage other coins, but you probably should not be putting boolbery in the same sentence as monero. Do some research: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.0

if you guys do this just act under the assumption that he is trying to steal your money. if you just do lots of small trades and never keep very much in the way of funds on the exchange at any given time it could still prove to be a useful service even if he were a scammer.

I agree here.
One hast to be very careful - only trading small sums and send the funds back to your wallet again is a good deal.

Reputation and trust comes with time... The longer the exchange is online and the more volume it trades, the more trust will it receive.

I wish this particular exchange all the best, but I doubt it will catch on even among the darknet society of crypto.

i think you're wrong.. i mean, sure he could disappear, or he could have a great exchange and make money for years to come.. i think its a great idea, and it's about time i2p

had something like this. im a huge fan of i2p, thats why i built a network for $DOGED on it. i checked it out and it looks stable, ill definitely test it once it's ready.

uhmm no, less than 1 percent premine (.4%), and it was distributed in irc the first week.

The wallet downloaded from your website does not support i2p. I verified this in the i2p console.

lol how come we're all connected thru i2p nodes then and theres no ip's in the logs? lol derpp. it doesnt have i2psam, if thats what you mean, but its fine with base32 addys

i distributed about 25 million the first week, eth2 from suchpool rained about 20 million as well, and minerpools also about 20 million
I think you are right about i2p. It does not work out of the box like Anoncoin when you have i2p installed and running, and you need to follow these instructions: http://dogecoindark.net/i2pdarknet.html (which I have not verified).

As for the mining reward, it is less fair than bitcoin, and is steeper than an exponential function.

soo....

new version? is the testnet going badly or is GroundRod having troubles?
The testnet is still ongoing. As can be seen on our development schedule (https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Development_schedule) we are at this point:

Quote
Setting Anoncoin's RetargetPID P, I and D parameters → ONGOING
Testing on Testnet-4 → ONGOING

Our PID difficulty retargeting algorithm (PID=Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller) represents a radical departure from what is used in all other cryptocurrencies. Given that this will require a hardfork, we are doing extensive testing to determine the best values for the parameters that are involved.

If you are asking for a deadline, I shouldn't have to remind you, but we don't give deadlines anymore.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: June 22, 2015, 09:32:38 PM
I have some news: the testnet will be delayed by 7 days. This is necessary because the code is not as close to being ready as I had anticipated when I made that estimate.

I have come up with a schedule for remaining components to finish. I will give updates at ~8:00 UTC each day with what parts of the schedule I have finished the previous day (I am at a UTC-7 timezone). Whenever possible, I will also provide evidence that the functionality works. Here's the schedule:

10-1410-1510-1610-1710-1810-1910-2010-21
CWalletCoinzerocoin_wallet storage
RPC mint txn
relaying mint txns
accum. chkpts in block
wallet witness update
wallet mint logic
refactor CoinSpend
RPC create spend + impl.
store own spend pieces locally
RPC get seeding spend proofs
net: seed spends
net: receive and verify spends
store received spend pieces
wallet spend logic
debugging
(GUI if time permits)
debuggingdebugging

I know that one week may seem like forever to some of you who have been eagerly watching this thread and IRC, but this is only a 15% increase in the time required since I started working full time on this, so not an unusual delay compared to similar large software projects.

The new launch date and time will be 2014-10-22 at 16:00 UTC.

EDIT 10-18: I realize now that I messed up the columns. Fixed.

At this point I think it is safe to say that Gnosis missed his revised 7 day deadline and has left the project

Meeh may not be active here but still seems to be doing a lot of work for the I2P Project so could continue to be very helpful in the future.

Meanwhile can someone who is in contact with meeh IRL ask him to update OP? We need to for example remove the links to the exchanges that no longer trade ANC (bittrex) or are obvious scam/fractional reserve exchanges (vircurex). We also need to be able to update OP with links to the new release when it comes. Not every new user will want to search this thread or visit Github for download links. Most bitcointalk newcomers expect current download links to be in the OP.

.Gnosis - The guy who realized that this whole thing doesn't work at all and quit the Zerocoin dream (I believe more in some Professor than in a internet dude)
.Meeh still being active on i2p? - I don't think so. That dude did a major break.

Only buy Bitcoin, your are on the safe side. Anoncoin won't ever go over 1.Mio again - even when the update comes. Many coins proved that software updates do nothing with the price, nor with the community.

In fact finding a price in the crypto world is very surreal, it depends on many factors - the best factor is that of something "new". A New Coin has a better chance of going higher than Anoncoin than an older Coin ...

A Coin needs to get hyped and hyped... and hyped further, up until that point the longer it stays up, the longer it stays there. If the people see a coin having a high price over a longer period of time, they get accustomed to the price... and buy in.
Hi SmokingSkull,

If you are an investor, please be aware that we don't a give shit about the price of ANC. You are quite right that the price of most cryptocoins has nothing to do with reality. If you care about fundamentals, you could at least start by ordering the crytpocoins by volume, and not market cap.

If you have any concrete questions you would like answered, please don't hesitate to ask.

Lunokhod

still on pace for Jun 30 launch?

Will other coins besides ANC and BTC be supported?

We are in fact ahead of schedule. It looks like we may launch as much as a week early. All the features necessary to launch are complete. We are capable of launching a finished product right now but are doing more security related tests and adjusting the code for margin trading and short sales.  If you would like to view the demo site (hosted on low bandwith server). Demo accounts are funded with sample balances to experiment with our trading platform. The link is: http://fclgyds4otcwiwwlsqh6x3q6x54ws5qapythrtefg2ceyoa5vzsq.b32.i2p

We are planning on offering trading pairs for about 30 coins. Various privacy focused and higher volume coins.

We support optional GPG based 2 factor authentication and encrypted i2pbote email alerts for the most secure and private user experience possible. Its even possible to create GPG based passwordless/usernameless accounts.

Are you willing to tell us which 30 coins will be accepted at launch? Besides ANC can we assume that DASH and all the cryptonote coins will be included along with BTC and LTC of course?

We haven't decided yet. I will post the list when we make the ann thread a couple days before launch. But otherwise, like I say,  We pretty much going to accept the coins with the highest volume and those with privacy focus. No Cryptonote coins will be supported as they do not support tor or i2p connection. If they add anonymous connection capability at a later date we will add them.

Actually I think the cryptonote traders (along with ANC and DASH) might be some of your most loyal traders because they care the most about privacy. It is true that cryptonote coins like BBR do not yet have native I2P or TOR support, but neither do most of the "high volume" coins you refer to. Why would high volume coin traders use your I2P exchange unless they value privacy? If they do value privacy, it seems like coins such as ANC, DASH, XMR and BBR would be most attractive to them.

XMR (who plans to integrate I2P eventually by the way) and BBR can still be used with your exchange. They do not need native I2P integration to be able to send coins to/from an I2P exchange.  Anyone can cut/paste a destination address from your I2P exchange into the wallet of a coin without I2P support.  Until more coins (such as ANC) add I2P support this will be how it works for most coins

The issue with cryptonote coins is that the server must run a node anonymously. Bitcoin based altcoins can be run over tor, monero etc cannot. This increases the risk of demasking.

Currently CryptoCurrency Exchanges are under increasing regulatory pressure. This Exchange will provide trading services for those traders who don't with to be lawskeyd. Also we are are interested at some point in the future to provide a desktop client similar to MetaTrader that will have i2pd embedded so anyone can trade any coin easily and anonymously without ever having to put any effort into technical computer configurations.

Can you explain me why this is not feasible or can not be accomplished as other coins running over TCP  Shocked Huh
You can sync a XMR Wallet over TOR, so why can you not use an exchange or a XMR miner over TOR  Huh
Im not intrested in a flame war. I know how easy it is to get riled up but instead i recommend reading the whole thread before kneejerking. I already responded to this Wink. I tried to run the wallet over tor i had an issue with it, I brought it up to the devs in IRC, they didn't respond, I waited 3 days and then gave up. Thank you for pointing out that in fact Monero can be run over tor. Im sorry for incorrectly stating cn coins dont work over tor. When I get it working and get the wallet api working I will add Monero to the list of supported coins. Give the heads up to the people in IRC #monero-dev that responding to people asking questions about errors and shit is appreciated so the next confused fucker doesn't get bitched at. Smiley

Its my understanding that if you get torify or proxychains to work, that you would only be able to make outgoing connections, but not have incoming connections. Sure, that would be a nice hack to serve our friends over at XMR, but is that the way you really want to run a hidden server? I've always had long term stability issues with proxychains/torify on my system, so I would probably just wait until XMR adds tor/i2p functionality before wasting your time.

Just to be clear: Anoncoin is not a dead coin. We have a new lead developer, GroundRod, who has brought the code up to bitcoin 0.10 standards, and who has added many new features, such as a innovative PID difficulty retargeting algorithm (see https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Development_schedule). You can download/build the the develop branch on github to see for yourself. We are currently testing the PID algorithm on internal testnets.

But to get back to your original comment: Meeh has not given up on Anoncoin, but even if he did, the project would live on without him.

Sorry, maybe I was a bit harsh and you are right.

Development branch hasn't been altered since February 2015.
We don't see GroundRod coding^^ or getting the code up to 0.1 standards

not blame - just saying
You are right in not trusting us. All I can say is that if you look at your Anoncoin peers, you will see about three that are running 0.9.6.1. We are holding back on pushing the post 0.9.4 code to github as some of our developments, including real block hashes and PID retargetting, could be easily copied.

Of course, it would be easy to make some clients with fake version numbers if we wanted to pump and dump.
