First Israel, now Poland. The great battle of our time  Cool
1362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Reputable Online Wallet on: April 12, 2013, 07:59:55 PM
Trust no one.

People use blockchain.info because you can backup the wallet and because they don't know the password, you do everything client-side, so they can't take the money and run away  Wink
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Under Attack ?! on: April 12, 2013, 07:35:05 PM
And so it begins  Cool
1364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: April 12, 2013, 07:26:53 PM

1365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Payment went to wrong address? on: April 12, 2013, 05:45:28 PM
This change address thing will be catastrophic with paperwallet eventually for a lot of people. Almost no one know that.
1366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why not crack addresses instead of finding nonces? on: April 12, 2013, 05:44:14 PM

So as soon as there is a new block, nonce searching has to start all over?
Yup, but there is no "start over" in the sense that you work toward something, to find a nonce you just try tons of hashes, one of them can be the right one, and you can try billions of hashes per second.
1367  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ripple: A Distributed Exchange for Bitcoin on: April 12, 2013, 04:08:50 PM
Meh, the problem of ripple is the same of bitcoin, very few people use it. Yes, if everyone use ripple, then it would be good as an exchange for bitcoin. But well, then if everyone use bitcoin, we would not even need an exchange.
1368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone help me? on: April 12, 2013, 04:03:26 PM
http://bitcoinwatch.com/

just click an exchange and then click the graph, for example http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg60ztgSzm1g10zm2g25zv

others makes a prognosis of slow sliding down to one digits numbers

Do you personally believe that it will bounce back within a month or so?
In just a month? Dunno. But i believe that in some months it will bounce back and then it will rise to even higher prices.

Just look at fundamentals, there are tons of services and merchants who accept bitcoin. BitPay did over 2 millions $ of transactions in March. This is not speculation, this is real economy, people using bitcoin to buy things.

Bitcoin didn't die in 2011 after the bubble, why should it die today?
1370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why not crack addresses instead of finding nonces? on: April 12, 2013, 03:59:26 PM
Cracking an address takes more time than the life of the universe. Good luck  Wink

The search for nonces changes every 10 minutes
Mmhh... it seems you are a bit confused about how mining work
1371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did I screw up? on: April 12, 2013, 03:55:24 PM
Remember the 2011 bubble, it went from 32 to 2. If you bought at for example 15 after the bubble popped , and then you saw it drop at 2, what would have you done? Sell? Ha, from 2 it recovered and skyrocketed to over 250!

These days are the days where we can buy cheap bitcoins  Smiley
1372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Backups in case of disaster on: April 12, 2013, 03:53:36 PM
I have multiple backups on various email/storage services. Encrypted with a looong password.
Even if i lose what i have at home, i can still download my wallet from there
1373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did I screw up? on: April 12, 2013, 03:52:19 PM
Good investment, you did the right thing and waited for the bubble to pop before buying. Much much better than the people who bought at 200 or 250  Cheesy

Now? Just hold.
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was high on bitcoin - now I feel bad on: April 12, 2013, 03:08:54 PM
Great time to buy bitcoins.
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In for the money? Get lost and good riddance! on: April 12, 2013, 02:41:53 PM
I don't get why people panic: there are cheap bitcoins to buy, it is wonderful
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Falkvinge: "That is not just unacceptable; that is a joke..." on: April 12, 2013, 01:08:33 PM
Meh, tons of people swarmed on bitcoin in the last week, no one was ready for that. You can't double your servers in so few days.
1377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: location of block chain on disc on: April 11, 2013, 05:06:46 PM
You didn't miss anything. But yes you can relocate it adding the -datadir command somewhere. Oh and first manually move the blockchain in the new location you chose.
1378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: exchanges are really hurting bitcoin on: April 11, 2013, 05:05:35 PM
Then make a new and better exchange
1379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Total supply of BTC on: April 11, 2013, 05:03:31 PM
True, if everyone dollars increase 10 times, it is like nothing changed. Because this affected everyone. The problem with inflation is that only some people receive the new money, not everyone
1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One great benefit of this Gox Crash on: April 11, 2013, 04:30:48 PM
