You can put money in an exchange, buy bitcoin and buy something with bitcoin. So you spent your fiat, no matter the price of bitcoin. I could buy a pizza 900 days ago using euros, it is still a pizza

If you don't know what a private key is, please don't use bitcoin.

Online or offline doesn't matter.

True, bitcoin is a commodity, but a commodity that can instantly be teleported everywhere in the world and be divided up to the satoshi. This make the bitcoin good to trade things. You can buy a new tv with bitcoin on tons of websites that accept bitcoin.

Hello

1)Transaction fees 2)Meh, nonsense. The total doesn't change. 1 bitcoin, 100 bitcents. 1000 bitmills. It is the same, different names for the same thing. The total amount of btc won't change, 21 millions of bitcoins. Sure you can subdivide them, but the total doesn't change.

Bitcoin is digital gold in my opinion. Much better than the gold standard, we directly trade with gold

No, of course not. The top three USD exchanges plus bitcointalk all going down at the same time was just a coinkidink Or, simpler, as the price drop tons of people rush on the exchanges and on the forum and this create lag.

wut how do i print out bitcoins on paper? and how do i get them back in the computer when i want to spend them?
Because so you have the key printed on paper, wich is a good way to store information and not lose it. Very easy, most clients have a option to import the private keys.

Currently they are at a internet market, but iam thinking of moving them to Bitstamp Incoming fail. Why do you keep the bitcoins there? You think you must keep them in a "bank"? Safest storage is, as syn999 said, having them on one of YOUR addresses, offline and on a paperwallet/some usb keys
