Bitcoin is showing marked resiliency as legacy markets correct moderately from yesterdays sharp gains. Tomorrows Jobs report is likely to show continued retraction in the US and global economic outlook. Record unemployment numbers are also forecast as the Covid19 pandemic shutdown continues to show effects in all sectors of the economy.

Rioting in the USA over the senseless death of George Floyd has diminished and has been replaced with mostly peaceful protesting over racial inequality. An often heard cry in this great nation that unfortunately gets unheard and unredressed by society.


What does this have to do with bitcoin you ask? Everything I say.

I believe bitcoin was conceived and created in the fires of such a financial crisis. It rose and clawed its way into existence exactly in such a time as now, with unchecked government spending(read bailouts) and the added fuel of central banks imposing negative interest rates upon an already burdened populace.

Bitcoin has been showing maturity for the first time in its young life..its divergence from legacy markets..its quality and its viability as an alternate to fiat. Through these days bitcoin has had its shocks..as we all have. Despite that it has continued to perform as it was designed and I dare say exceed expectations both from a technical and a subjective view. Yes, it still continues to be a shallow pool where even moderate sized whales can easily agitate the surface and cause waves that widen the eyes. For the record I neither approve nor disapprove of such actions. That is the beauty of bitcoin..they are yours to do as you wish..when ever and however you want. I love that about bitcoin. Volatility remains high and will likely remain so for years as the market seeks depth. I think we will see a 5x to 10x increase in market cap over the next 4 years..with further potential of 30x or more in the following decades. Its hard to imagine after 10 years we are still only seeing the end of the beginning.

A volatile day for bitcoin as it plunges from $10.2k to $9.1k before settling around $9.5k as we near Tuesdays closing bell. Whelp..nothing left but to get back on our feet..dust ourselves off and carry on..the bull market is inevitable. Resistance is futile.

Yesterdays operation 10k was a smashing success with bearish forces in a complete rout after bulls storm over the 5 digit barrier to near a new yearly high at $10,429.26   Overnight bullish forces have consolidated at just under $10.2k and this morning appear to have their sites set on further gainz.    #dyor

A important day as we close out a weekly and the monthly candle for bitcoin. Continuing to trade in a tight range, bitcoin still is not not showed the high volume indicative of a full bull rally.

You guys are all looking at the same thing I am right now probably...the market looks weak as we get ready to close the monthly candle..more consolidation and accumulation likely.
Long term still looks good...short term might retest 9.3 or lower as we move into June.
So many longs..seems like they might be in for a squeeze imho.   #dyor

As I watch riots and looting rage across America over another tragic and senseless death due to police brutality, I am trying to find words to offer comfort and rationality to what is already the most chaotic time I can remember.

The fact of the matter is I cant...there is nothing I can say that makes any of this better or easier to swallow. The World as a whole is already reeling from the C19 pandemic and now fuel to the fire is being thrown upon an already tinder dry society.

What I do know is this, mankinds greatest achievements have been accomplished under the rule of law. Without the rule of law we are no more than barbarians who will fall back into the stone ages.

I also think that people step up in times of need...when things are at their worst is when one individual or a group of them stand against the tide and say 'No!' ...this shall not be. Then they walk forward upon the righteous path leading the way.

Call me a hopeless romantic, call me irrational..call me what you like but I think humanities greatest days are still ahead of us. That we can learn from the mistakes we have made in the past and forge that bright destiny from the fires we walk through today.
