the evening wall report

Bulls press the attack on $8k in long running uphill fight. Casualties mount at $7.8kish as the Bears counter attack with heavy resistance. Surely this furious assault can not continue much longer without one side or the other losing significant ground to the other camp. Stay tuned and maintain battle readiness. That is all.

Support zone at $6.87k with interesting symmetry as a new tax year begins in the US

Medium fibs from previous high shows distribution and accumulation and a possible key support/resistance zone around $9.5k

Still looking for support and perhaps a step up the ladder at the -0382 fib as the cloud flares dramatically towards the middle end of May    #dyor

Now there's a chart I haven't seen for a very long time.

Mostly recovered from the pandemic outlier, bitcoin still appears to be on track for the next bullrun. #dyor

I never had this experience of playing poker in real life with mates of in the casino. In fact my poker career is only 6 weeks old LOL

Why do I always lose my patience when I am that close! I mean say a table pays top 4, I end up at the 5th position. It happened with me 3/4 times or more than that I guess. Only once made it to the top and it was in one of the bitcointalk tournament tourney.

I can assure that I do not play that bad at all. Any tips for this noob?

Never bet a inside straight draw.

In all seriousness...there are many playing styles..just have to find what fit yours. I personally prefer a passive aggressive stance. Also..most people in tournaments dont fold enough imo. Its all about chip management to get past the bubble.

Install the bitcoin wallet on your phone, remove the sim card, disable bluetooth wifi nfc, cancel all external connections and you already have your "military grade" Cheesy wallet
No, military grade means the thing explodes if it's tampered with.

just dont press the little red button

I surely reciprocate any ting-a-lingy feelings that are caused by bear gun shyness or recktage. I have never really bother with leveraged contracts...have never seen the point..it seems to me that moving the way the market 'naturally' goes is the better way. When market go down..buy some..when market go up..sell some. It could be that simple.

My main bitcoin portfolio strategy is simple..just keep buying and hodling..he who hath the most coin, wins.   Highlander style.
2209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 27, 2020, 03:59:10 AM

Are the shorts stacking up too, in order to provide some fuel for them to get RECKT?  That would be a lovely sight, no?  Might stimulate ting-a-lingies for any of us who might still be able to experience such feelings.

You would really have to look at each exchange and see the L/S ratios. I dont have a overall metric that is easily disseminated unfortunately.

A quick look at Binance might give a general sense of market sentiment but its tether bound so...there is that.

I personally would love to see RECKTAGE with bear entrails scattered about...but I am just trying to report what I see jjg. Doing ones own research is always best imho.

A bearish engulfing candle on the hourly and a possible double top on the four hour chart is signaling a possible change on local time frames. A lot of sell orders stacking at the $7.85k and $8k range with traders appearing reluctant to engage at these levels. Sideways accumulation continues until the bearish $7.5k level or the bullish $8k level is breached for the confirmation of a trend change.

Six weeks of gainz leaving us sitting above high time frame support levels and testing a previous resistance zone are indicating we might see some profit taking soonish. A strong impulsive move above -0382 fib would over ride local bearish consolidation. #dyor

a couple of notes:

1. Some ^^girls think that their titties are magical...and maybe they are.

2. Both boys and girls fail simple geography question:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1254106410549460994
I wonder:
a. why this is not being taught in school?
b. why people openly admit to being so ignorant without being ashamed at the slightest?

facepalm...BTW, honestly, how many countries you can point correctly on that map, WO fellas?
My guess would be >10, but less than 50, most likely.
Correct?

Everyone gets their ting-a-lings in different ways..magical or not.

Cat on stripper pole could work for some here. Perhaps better than magical titties.  Shocked

Im not really one to judge how ting-a-lings are garnered. I just try to enjoy them whenever possible.

----

There is some debate on whether keeping trivial knowledge stored in the ol brain bucket serves a purpose in this day and age. With the advent of smartphones and Google..some claim your just wasting space when the answer to just about any question can be had in a few seconds.

Personally I do not agree with this premise. I think cramming as much into your brain as you possibly can is beneficial, even if said knowledge is not retained over the long term.

The ability to find knowledge when needed..to be able to ask the right question at the right time, is as important if not more so than regurgitating arcane formula or texts imho.

As far as naming countries and pointing them out on a map?  Not sure I could remember all 195 and where they are located..but fairly certain I could name at least 100+. Its pretty sad to see the level of some peoples ignorance in this day and age.

....
A device? You mean an electronic device like a cellphone or computer?

Yeah you know, those things you use to store, transfer, spend, and receive bitcoin.... Cheesy Cheesy Grin

Don't be suggesting that Jimbo is too much of a boomer merely because he is giving practical advice, because none of us should be dissing on cash or dissing on the idea of interacting with people face to face.

There is a lot of value in keeping our interactions and our transactions plausibly deniable, which becomes a whole lot more difficult when you stick your bills into some kind of machine because you prefer them to be converted into electronic pieces that you can more easily handle.

Yeah, I know that bitcoin does not have any kind of physical component either, and surely part of the challenge that we bitcoiners are going to continue to have is to figure out ways to preserve some of our privacy and preserve the traceability of our transactions.

By the way, I think that it can be a good idea to keep a number of bills on you, even if you don't seem to like cash, but sometimes it can be nice to interact with people using cash, even if we are becoming traceable in so many other ways, with our having a digital tracking device in our pocket (aka smart phone) but we also can have some plausible deniability regarding some of our cash transactions... at least so far we have some of those kinds of freedoms if we are not so willing to give them up.

TLDR:
Cash is not the enemy.

Face to face interactions are not a bad thing.

I have met a lot of nice people face to face.. and even caused me ting-a-lings, back in the good ole days.

tbh, I don't really care about my monetary interactions being private. That horse left the stable years ago.
I have nothing to hide. I follow the law and pay my taxes.
For me, it's all about convenience.
It's why I like bitcoin, just wish everyone else would get on board, and make it like 10 times more convenient.
Meanwhile there's Venmo....

...Plus I'm too old for ting-a-lings ...wait...wtf are they anyway?

You are going to give up without even a battle?  You are not even going to complain about the loss of privacy, liberty and ting-a-lingies (that you already forgot what they feel like)?  OMG!!!!   Shocked Shocked  What a world!!!

By the way, even if you do not appreciate or use these kinds of privacy, liberty and ting-a-lingie services, you should, at least, attempt to think beyond yourself in order to attempt to appreciate the ramifications of giving up.. or if everyone were to give up, and yeah, maybe you cannot make the fight yourself, but there should be some appreciation for others engaged in a fight that attempts to preserve these, and not work against them, no?  Seems bitcoin involves some of that kind of support for privacy, liberty and ting-a-lingies.

Ting-a-lingies you say?  For sure this should be remembered.  Bills seem to useful in this regard.

We are back in business.     Cool

Maybe Stamp is going to have a story to tell us about losing 10k bitcoins?

or some other not safutm (but purportedly fixed) practice that involved more than a de minimus amount?  Shocked

Looks great. Getting things imported is a...process. If I ordered that I'm not sure when I would ever get it. And how much I would pay in shipping.

Slightly less than an arm and leg I would bet or at least as much as the unit costs. Shipping via container might be a option. Either way...not cost effective I would think..but certainly useful.
