Seems that there needs to be some interesting topic in which to spring board.

JJG oneliners, BCT full of Tumbleweed. Bitcoin going sideways, ain’t it?

I dont have much in this report honestly. Too much noise. All I can tell you is either you believe in bitcoin and the bright future it brings or you dont.

You sound depressed and disheveled, poor lil guy.   Cry

What if you are already at War and you don't even realise your enemy is attacking you?

Do you see China apologising? Or doubling down on the deception?

I dont know Marcus. full stop

Thats the problem..nobody knows much of anything except whats being fed through questionable MSM. About the only thing I do know is this..in war..there are no winners...not really. At least not for the people who are reading this right now...people like you and I...people like us..who are just trying to get by in a crazy messed up world. No...war is not the answer.
Stop, you are making my heart bleed.

America did pretty damn well after the war of independence. We could have avoided WW2, all we had to do was surrender. And thousands of other examples, open a damn history book.

War has solved more problems than anything else in history. The only question here is if it is a war that should be fought. Not if war as a concept is good or bad. It is unquestionably good.

No.

The application of force to achieve a (political)goal would be the more precise way of stating it. It is neither good nor bad..it just is. People are the ones that are either good or bad. So..back to the question at hand..what would be your goal in a war? Besides just being angry and scared and wanting to lash out at a perceived threat? What is the political, economic and military reasoning behind such a move beside.. I dun like them..they bad..me good. Do you think the is enough(any) factual evidence to support such a move?

I think your just ignorant is what I think. Probably best to just leave it at that.

I'd say its more logical to conclude if aliens were a factor then its historic rather then in expectation going forward or at least now in this moment.  Simply put more time has passed and the better theory is Aliens are already on earth or arrived and left or died, etc.
Its possible we cannot perceive aliens as they are beyond the spectrum detectable to us or some other reason we arent aware or they are on the ocean bed and/or near volcanic gaps in the earths crust and some life does exist and rely on geothermic flows so thats feasible also.    When I say alien I mean any life form not earth derived, could be as boring as alien bacteria and nothing more complex.   Could be some life we presume is earth evolved actually came from a meteor and adapted here, etc.

Low is 50 day MA, target downside really is 6500 and more important and upside 8000 or we can just carry on sideways mostly.

Pay attention here folks...first principles at work.

Living in a perceived universe where scientific observations postulate that we are unable to account for 95% of energy or matter, I think it highly probable we just dont have the hardware to see whats really going on...yet.

--------

I am no fan of the chinese autocratic system, but the recent rise in tribal hate-mode towards China worries me.  A frustrated population always want somebody to blame, and it is not hard to see how a populist leader could latch on to these sentiments and let things escalate into a new world war.
Like Ray Dalio has said, in history when an upcoming economic powerhouse challenges the current Nr 1, more often than not the end result was war.
With a similar economic prowess but a larger population, I fear things would look bleak for the west in such a war scenario.  And even if the US would win, the amount of damage sustained would be huge.  I do hope we are able to navigate these changes in a peaceful way.

So BTC/Crypto is still following the stock market up down and sideways..hardly encouraging...especially with the BTC having https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-clock/ only 20

days away.

This whole world from finance to crypto and pandemic is beyond black swan event(s) it seems.

Well, interesting as hell if you like 'horror' movies I guess. I wonder what the next month of calamities will entail?

So BTC/Crypto 'decouple' from the stock market already, streak marks on my underwear are becoming a common event damn it! Sad

Maybe this is how approaching Singularity looks like.

the noon wall report at 1:49pm

I, along with everyone else have just been observing the historic selloff of oil futures. If ever the term 'markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent' it would be in the middle of something like this. A State sponsored price war.

Locally bitcoin has broken downwards through $6.9k and is currently looking for support on the 0.618 short fib.

Closing below the 0.5 fib probably indicates that the downtrend will continue over the next couple of days until a new support level is discovered.  #dyor

I was planning on filling all my petrol cans today to take advantage of the low petrol prices, glad I didn't have time. It's gonna be interesting to se what the petrol prices will be the coming days.

I guess there are some places in the US where its under $1 a gallon again...think we could see more of that.

https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/gas-prices-average-drop-kentucky-station-us/

Quote
Kentucky was the first state in the US to see fuel prices drop under $1 per gallon, and the lowest price continues to flip between Kentucky and Ohio. On April 20, Ohio is once again how to the cheapest gas at just 91 cents per gallon.

Quote
Drivers haven't seen 99 cent gas since 2002, when travelers began to take fewer trips and stayed closer to home following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Come 2003, fuel prices started to rise after the US invaded Iraq.

Barrel of oil equivalent = 6.1178632×109 J
Antminer S17+ 70TH/s rated @ 40J/TH

 6.1178632×109 J/bbl x 600 bbl = 3,670,717,926,540 J

 3670717926540 J / 40J/TH = 91,767,948,163.5 TH

How many bitcoin can I mine in 91,767,948,163.5 TH?

The probability that any give hash will lead to a valid block is 1/(232D), where D is difficulty
 currently D = 13,912,524,048,946

 So, 91,767,948,163.5x1012H x 1/(23213,912,524,048,946)/Block

 = 1.5357666489943172022545931579071 Blocks (currently 12.5BTC/Block)

 = 19.197083112428965028182414473839 BTC

Wow.  I thought it would have been much more.

How many coins could you mine with the energy from 600 barrels of oil?

42 gallons per barrel

about 20 gallons of gas refined per barrel of oil

20x600=12,000 gallons of gas

'How long will a 5000 watt generator run on a gallon of gas?
24 hour
Most portable generators will run on gasoline out of convenience. A standard 5,000 watt generator will consume around 18 gallons of gasoline during a 1 day/24 hour period. This makes it very unrealistic and expensive for long term use.'

https://generatorpowersource.com/generator-fuel-consumption/

12,000/18=666.6666666666666666667 twenty-four hour days  (oh shit..here we go)

24x666.6666666667= aprox. 16,000kwh

--------

long story short...a lot probably. Looks like better answers have been supplied anyways.

Good morning.

Happy 4.20 all.

Bitcoin has retraced overnight to give a solid thump off of $6.9k support. Considering how legacy markets are reacting to the significant slide in oil prices...this is good news as far as I am concerned.
Still consolidating in a range as the halvening price searches for discovery. #dyor

Assault team bravo is reporting a possible breach in bear defenses. Bring up the auxiliaries to support the left flank and keep the pressure on.

Classic TA here...compression due to tight ranges. You can clearly see the impact into the cloud and the deflection upwards. Top of cloud wrinkles more due to impact, causing wavelets and more compression followed by a potential rupture upwards.  #dyor
