Let me summarize my interaction with you so far:
  • You claimed that your shitcoin BSv is as decentralized as bitcoin
  • I asked you to back it up, to define decentralization and metrics you used to arrive at such ludicrous conclusion
  • You tried evading tactic by claiming that you already explained decentralization
  • I stayed on it, and asked you to repeat it
  • You pointed to a post where you're bitching that that nodes are not a measure of decentralization. Conveniently still never defining decentralization.
  • You then replied "Bingo" to AlcoHoDL's speculation that by decentralization you might mean potential to be decentralized. As if we were all playing the "Guess wtf jbreher means by decentralization today". You then confirm that by saying that the only difference is the "current popularity of each"
  • To point out that such stupid definition wouldn't work outside of 3 coins, i asked if by your definition BCD (Bitcoin Diamond) is as decentralized as BTC
  • You replied that because BCD is not SHA256 POW it "has no meaningful ties to the satoshi legacy." As if only god coins can be decentralized?? And obscuring your idea of decentralization even more

Just because my server has potential fundamentals to grow to Google's size, doesn't make my server as decentralized as Google. Sorry.

Today i just read the "Experts Agree: Craig Wright’s Latest Cryptography Claims Are ‘Nonsense’" article https://www.coindesk.com/4-experts-agree-craig-wrights-latest-cryptography-claims-are-nonsense to summarize:
  • CSW - I own this address
  • - signed message pops up from the address saying CSW is a "liar and a fraud"
  • CSW - “no message was signed. You cannot have a digital signature that is anonymous, by definition." Provided some veiled definition of signatures
  • Everyone who ever validated a signature - LMAO wtf???
  • Johns Hopkins associate professor and cryptographer Matthew Green - Wright’s explanation “makes zero sense to me as a cryptographer,” ... "Because the words he’s using sound like nonsense to me.”
  • Symbolic Software applied cryptographer Nadim Kobeissi - “Having followed Craig Wright’s tale, I personally think that there is as much validity to the claim that Craig Wright is the inventor of Bitcoin as there is validity to the claim that the Earth is flat.”

The parallels between your approaches are striking. I also recalled Toxic2040 post about how your pedantic drivel is similar to Faketoshi. You strive for publicity to stay relevant, at a cost of making yourself look like a total idiot to anyone with a single brain cell. But that does radicalize your base, so those few people you do manage to convince will blindly follow you and unquestionably believe everything that you say. Luckily in this scene there are more "neckbeards" (that you're desperately trying to marginalize) who posses critical thinking, that will call you out on all of your BS.

the noon wall report

Bitcoin is hodling steady at around $9.6k today as some consolidation and minor profit taking seems to be taking place. As our Honorable Secretary has stated..steady as she goes. I concur Sir.

In other news this morning...

Bitcoin continues to show heavy correlation with the stonk market and specifically the S&P500. The Dow, S&P500 and Bitcoin are all down today near 1%. Ethereum is surprisingly up today and seems to be attempting to break correlation between bitcoin and the stonk markets...interesting imo.

Gold breaks $1.9k and seems to be intent on breaking its ATH. Silver is also up significantly, trading above $22 today.

1984 has arrived at Seattle today and apparently other major US cities.

Probably wont be wearing badges or nameplates but will potentially be carrying shields stating they are police.

Covid-19 cases continue to rise in the US and around the world. People...please wear a mask when your out in public and especially in enclosed spaces such are stores. It makes a difference.
This guy does some good videos on it..I recommend watching it if you are on the borderline as to what is effective or not with mask usage.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npXP5wqNzaI

Over 4 million cases are now being reported in the US, a jump from 3 million to 4 million in the last 15 days...

Washington State among others also continues to see the number of cases rising.

Stay safe out there people...stay strong in heart and mind. We will get through this.

Peace

and a clinical inability to respond to simple questions or respond with a straight forward simple answer.

What the hell are you on about? Looking back three pages, you have addressed exactly zero questions to me, let alone ones unanswered. Unless you're confusing yourself with some sock.

The hell I am on about is you JB. You argue, you deflect, you seem disingenuous in your statements from time to time so one has to carefully parse what you write and post in a thread that has nothing to do with your preferred narrative.

For example..there are pages back where you argue over the definition of decentralisation that any cypherpunk worth his/her/its salt knows down to their bones. That it is a safer, more secure system than the centralised entities that make up the legacy financial system and to a certain extent, the bitcoin ecosystem. I am not going to waste yours or my time going back to find quotes..you know what I am talking about..or at least I hope you do.

I think I have made it very clear this thread is not a echo chamber..and there are times when I appreciate your postings..they make you actually think about things which in my mind is a good thing. Its the style you go about it that I have a problem with. Some archaic code of honor or other such bullshit flares up every now and then when reading the tap dance you seem to enjoy deploying in this thread.

As far as the sock thing goes...just lol. No socks here..just the same thread bare and heavily used one I have worn since I crawled up out of the cesspool of shitcoins and scammers that seems to make up the majority of this forum. At times I feel like a shuttlecock in some strange game of three sided badminton, trying to find safety somewhere in the middle to little avail. Be that as it may, I believe that small blocks and third layer solutions is a better way than a bloated big block chain.

I don't understand much about the cloud business, too much terminology for my liking. I tried translating kenkan, kijun, senkou, chikou before. Google told me it's Japanese.
I don't have anything interesting to say at current price levels, apart from the 2-month RSI pattern looks "cool". Not convinced how relevant this is though.

We are the resistance trend-line again, but still another 3 days before needing to make a decision.

There is a bull-cross of the 50 & 200 MA on the 4hr, that hasn't occurred for over 3 months. Probably relevant given how close these two were to crossing in recent months:

Kind of easy to be bullish right now for a number of reasons, as well as easy to make the case for being bearish simply for being at long-term resistance.

Its really quite simple in my opinion. It is just 5 inputs really...actually perhaps you could say 3 as the leading span A and B are predictive averages usually set 26 periods into the future. There is some debate on what 'settings' to use, for most its 9 26 52 26. Doubling these settings to 18 52 104 52 or perhaps 20 60 120 30 can induce interesting results as bitcoin trades 24/7 compared to the 8 hours most legacy markets use. The 20 60 120 30 setting is problematic as it skews the span B and base line inputs with unequal averages in my opinion. Still powerful on longer time frames it can be said however.

The key thing that you need to wrap your head around is the difference between moving averages and ichimoku. Where a simple moving average takes the closing price over a set period and adds them up and then divides by the set period, ichimoku takes that same set period and calculates the highs and the lows of the period and then divides by 2.

Here are some key terminology and the maths behind the curtain.

tenkan-sen or the conversion line = (9 period high + 9 period low)/2))

kijun-sen or the base line = (26 period high + 26 period low)/2))

chikou span or the lagging span = the closing price 26 days in the past

senkou span A or the leading span A = (conversion Line + Base Line)/2))

senkou span B or the leading span B = (52 period high + 52 period low)/2))

As each period closes it begins to 'paint' the cloud across the sky so all the animals have a place to dance.

Don’t you guys buy and replace? Each purchase paid with bitcoin I immediately buy back on an exchange. And add some extra just to be sure, so you could say I have more sats because I actually do pay in bitcoin from time to time.

TSLA stock is at 300bil valuation. IMHO, a crazy mania, indeed.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/tesla-charged-up-but-going-nowhere-11595454092

Thank g-d, I never shorted it.

Haha. Indeed.

Rickards was telling me to short TSLA. He's got some good insights, but I didn't follow him on this one. Not due to any inherent value of TSLA as an ongoing industry. But as they say, the market can remain crazy longer than you can stay solvent.

Well, that plus Elon is a special sort. Don't know why, don't much care. But I sense he'll do things greater yet in the future.

What I find fascinating is the similarities between the auto industry and the banking industry...both blindsided by emergent technologies. To a lesser extent the airlines are on the edge of something similar for international travel with the advent of SpaceX and Starship.

I think TSLA will have a trillion dollar valuation in the not so distant future. ICE technology will be relegated to local car shows and those crazy neighbors you know that keep horses around for that occasional ride in the summer.

I've just bought a new monitor at Newegg.com, and paid with Bitcoin.  Wink

Payment went thru smooth and fast. Much better than using my local (Argentine) credit card, asking for authorization for a payment abroad, and informing my unfriendly gov about any usd movements.

The only drawback is that i spent my precious hodled satoshis. Now a frenetic bullrun will surely begin.. This is going to be the more expensive monitor ever (0.07 BTC for the records).

dont look back javi...its pointless   I could pull my hair out if I had any left for some of the purchases I made in the past

buying asics and video cards for over 1 btc each..sometimes dozens..  a truck I paid over 30 btc for...it goes on and on..

life is short..enjoy your new monitor and keep stacking man

Taking a sort of ad hominem stance by calling people who validate the protocol and transactions on the bitcoin network "irresponsible neckbeard hobbyists unable to make the proper life choices to enable them to leave mommy's basement" is not helpful or realistic IMHO.

Nope its called a strawman (wrapped in a red herring) and is a tactic Jbear falls back on when he is losing an argument. Logic fallacies are the shield liars, thiefs and schemers hide behind rather than admit their true goals.

We all know those neckbeards created bitcoin to protect against the centralist bankers who BSV is bootlicking.

Smithsonian Institution Explains that 'Rationality' & 'Hard Work' are Racist

Quote
What are these sinister aspects of “white culture,” you ask? Well, according to the Smithsonian, values like “hard work,” “self-reliance,” “be[ing] polite,” and timeliness are all a product of the “white dominant culture.” Indeed, it turns out that conventional grammar, Christianity, the notion that “intent counts” in courts of law, and the scientific method and its emphasis on “objective, rational linear thinking” are all proprietary to “white culture.”
